" Divorce?".

Reena asked him again just to be sure that she had heard him right.

" Yes !!..... wasn't that a part of our contract Reena??". Reena was surely stunned with his reply.

Can't he see my love??

Did he only care about his contract all this time??

" Yes...yes..... I'm here for the contract." She replied unsure of what else to say .

Rocky smiled as she finally took the pen and signed the papers.

" Well that gives me a huge relief!!!........ because I have more work to do and very less time......I hope you can understand!!".

He doesn't want us.....he doesn't want me!!

Now what will I do ?

Rocky noticed her unusual behaviour since he was used to their fights and arguments before he left for kgf and her silence seemed to be suspicious.

" Hey !!.....are you okay Reena??......by the way I'll be going to the airport tomorrow to see her , if you are okay I can drop you !!".

" No .......there is no need for it !!.....I can manage!!". Reena calmed down, embracing herself to be strong since she knew where his topic might lead to..... afterall they had discussed about it many times in the past .

" Wow..... you have surely changed chinna!!!......not only your clothes but your attitude and this silence...... does this has anything to do with me ??"

Reena paused for a moment as she heard him call her after all those days, but now instead of smile it brought her pain.

" I know that we were close but we both know that it was a mistake!!". Rocky stated since he doesn't want it to be a hurdle for his future.

Mistake??

We were a mistake for him ?

" And we have already planned our future ahead.......and I'm really glad that you are mature enough to get this !!".

Rocky wanted to make sure that Reena have moved on over such things in the meantime he was gone to kgf , as it would destroy both their plans.

" Yes...... you don't need to repeat it .......we knew that this was destined!!". Reena didn't need more hints to realise that Rocky was talking about that night......and wanted to ease the akwardness and thus she cleared the air for him.

Rocky's eyes fell on the calendar and her realised the date and his schedule.

" And Reena, you are the only woman I know......so if you don't mind, can you give me some tips!!......I don't want to mess up tomorrow!!".

Reena paused for a moment.

" Sure !!!". Reena got up from the seat unable to bear the pain. She had already prepared herself for this , but that was the time when Rocky was anything but a stranger to her but now , the man she loves.

She turned back and wiped her lone tear and finally spoke to him.

" I'll arrange for the flowers and just ask Malammma to prepare gulab jamun, that is her favourite.........and by any means don't bring the topic of marriage.......that will be enough to impress her !!".

She walked towards the door as she finished and saw Rocky for one last time .

Rocky met her eyes and got up from the chair and went towards her.

" Thank you chinna!!......I'll be always grateful for your help.........call me if you ever need anything, don't think that you are disturbing me !!.....you are like my family!!".

Reena passed him a weak smile while Rocky's eyes landed on her neck, which still had the mangalsutra.

" Oh Reena!!......you still have this !!". Rocky held the chain in his hand checking whether it was the same one .

" I thought you would have thrown it in the trash !!".

Is that how he thinks about me??

Reena took it from his palm and held it closely.

" Okay okay!!.....you can have those!!..... anyway I don't like you would want that after the divorce!!..... maybe you can sell it ...-"

" Just stop it Rocky!!". She literally shouted at him as he kept speaking rubbish.

" Hey what's wrong??". Rocky came forward while Reena took few steps back , maintaing a distance from him.

" It's already noon , and dad must be searching for me !!....I have to go!!".

She picked up her lehenga and started to walk towards the stairs.

" Should I sent a driver for you??".

" No thanks!!.....I can drive myself!!".

She gave him a reply as she walked down the stairs, her eyes spilling fresh tears. She finally reached the entrance and saw her car parked before her.

She snatched the keys from the guard and started to drive her car from Kgf . Reena always had nightmares about Rocky's reaction, but her reality gave away the bitter truth.

Mistake!!

You were a mistake for him baby!!

Your mumma have failed as a mother!!....Now how will I face this society??...what should I do ??

Reena caressed her waist, as an attempt to feel her unborn baby, her only happiness.

I'm sorry baby!!.....but I can't endure any more pain.....I can handle this !!

I'm really sorry baby.... please forgive your mumma if you can !!.

Reena closed her eyes and started to accelerate the car , driving in the city the cars gave way to her sensing the high speed in the road.

She speeded up the car , hearing the siren from the police since she has crossed the speed limit.

Reena spotted a building, where she had first met him. She focused on it and drove towards it as she decided her end .

All her memories of life flashed before her as she was about to take the huge step.

But just as she was about to crash , she saw a old woman crossing the road and changed the direction, hitting a nearby tree, and she fell unconscious due to the hit.

People rushed towards the car to see the person, while among the crowd a woman in her forties peeped into the scene. She was new to the city and observed it carefully when something caught her eyes.

His amulet!!

That means she knows about my son !!

The woman came out of the crowd and helped the unconscious woman, while the people had already called the ambulance and rushed to the hospital.

The woman volunteered to accompany to the hospital and the people gave her Reena's purse and sent her to the nearby government hospital.

They had finally reached the hospital and Reena was rushed to the immergency ward. The woman opened her purse in the pursuit of finding any details regarding the identity of the patient.

She found few papers and read the name of the patient.
