  synopsis  

     REESE HENDERSON WAS A GOOD BABYSITTER. Or at least that's what she thought, being deemed at the "best babysitter in Hawkins," by four preteen boys, plus an additional two more that come through. But that never stopped the growing strange things that happened.

     Reese at first thought she was imagining things. At first it wasn't a big deal, thinking it must've been a light reflecting on a sign, or a flashlight in the distance of night hikers ( though to her it'd be odd, but then again, Hawkins was a weird town ), or that there's something that lurks in the mere darkness of the woods.

     Whatever it was, it haunted her. It gave her the chills, panic attacks when she's talked about, or the fact that one of the four boys she often babysat had went missing the same night. To her, it was a mere coincidence, though she began to feel like maybe it meant to happen.

     But that wasn't the strangest thing. Hawkins held more secrets than anyone knew, more than what Reese herself or even her friends no matter how much they unravel, more kept coming. It wasn't the haunting hallucinations, or it wasn't the possession. It was a lot worse.

     And Reese would be prepared to fight it. But could she really go out there and battle her demons? Or would the one thing that all of this revolves around, consume her as if she did not exist.
