Few days before Sonic goes missing

Tails' flying around the hill to know where Sonic is. And he found Sonic with Zion. "Huh? What are they doing?" Tails saw Sonic fighting with Zion. Tails land to the ground and hide behind the tree to look. And then, he saw something appear above where Sonic is standing. And it starts to swallow Sonic while Zion just stands there. Tails was shocked, and Zion entered a strange portal. After that, Tails' run to save Sonic. "Sonic!!" Tails shouted.  "Tails--. Help- me--" Tails' too late to save Sonic. Tails was panic all of a sudden. Then he had an idea to find them. Now he start looking to find Sonic and Zion.

Tails already put a chip inside Zion's gloves, so it will be easy for him to find them, but it's not what he expected. Tails' saw the screen, and it was only pitch black.
"No. Not again! What did I do?"
Tails' convinced that the detector wasn't working because it was still in repair, so he continue repairing it.
"Hhmm. How should I do this all by myself?" Tails asked himself because he usually got help from his friends, especially Sonic. Tails' tried to fix it, but his head hurts from stress and worryness. "*Sigh* Why did I do this all by myself? My head really hurts because of these." Tails asked himself again while his head hurts.

Tails heard a knock on his front door. So Tails opens it, and it was Amy
"Hi. Tails. Are you alright?" Amy said. "O-oh. Hi. Amy. Not really. My head hurt a bit..." Tails said with a low, hurt voice. "Can I come in? So I can help you rest" Amy wants to comes in, but Tails', blocks it. "U-uh. You don't need to! I can rest alone." Tails said with a nervous voice. "Uum. You sure?" Amy was worried about Tails. "Y-yeah" Tails replied. "Uuuh. Okay. Bye, Tails" and then Amy left Tails' house. And Tails shut the door. "*I don't want her to know that Sonic and Zion is missing*" Tails' thinking thoughts.

Few hours later

It was night time. Tails finally gets enough rest, and he continues to fix tje detector until it works. "I think it'll work now." Tails tried the detector again, and it shows something. Tails saw it was pretty dark and blurry. But he can hear some voices.

--"Master. I've retrieved him. What else shall you have me to do?"--

--"That will be all for now. Head back to the surface to ensure that no one has followed you to our location"--

--"Yes. Master"--

Tails' curious about those voices. The first and last voices is obviously Zion, but the other voices is faintly familiar. "*Wait. Whose voice is it? I recognize it, but I can't remember who...*" Tails is trying to remember who's that other voice. He looked up, and he noticed that the tracker located him out of the forest and it's moving. Then Tails heads out to meet him to know what happened. Zion heads back to the surface and going outside of the forest.

"Zion!" Tails called Zion while he was flying. "Wha-" Zion turned around and saw Tails. "There you are! What happened to you? I saw you left somewhere and I heard you talking with someone." Said Tails while worried. "What are you talking about? I just went to the forest for a race with Sonic." Zion said. "But.. I heard you talking with someone" Tails said. "It must've just been the wind, Tails" Zion said. Tails' squints at him, knowing that he heard someone and knowing that Zion's hiding something. He tries to get pass Zion, but he blocks him so he wouldn't enter the forest to find Sonic.

"Zion. Let me through!" Zion didn't respond and keeps blocking him.
"Where's Sonic?" Tails asked Zion again, but with a bit worryness on his face. "Sonic wishes to be alone right now at the lookout point and has sent me to ensure that no one bothers him. Now leave" Zion replied. "Wait. Is he alright? What happened? Tell me!" Tails said with a serious face to Zion. "He's alright! He's just wants to be alone! Just leave us alone, Tails!" Zion replied with anger. "O-oh. O-okay" Tails turns and walked away. Tails' looked back again and Zion sternly looking at him. While Tails' saw Zion's scars on his belly. Tails' keeps walking away and he left. Zion goes back to the forest to see his master.

On the way to Tails' house, Tails' still confused about Zion. He acts different, and he has a scars on his belly. It's like someone used Zion to kidnapped Sonic, but Zion said that he's alright. At in front of Tails' house, Tails opened the front door. Tails saw Amy, Knuckles, and Cream in the house. Tails was shocked.

"Hey. Tails. What is this about?" Amy asked. "Uum. I-it not really serious" Tails replied with startled voice. "But it looks really serious. Mr. Tails!" Cream said to Tails with a worried face. "Uuuhm. Fine. I'll explain everything..." Tails said.

Few minutes filled with Tails' explanation about Sonic and Zion was missing.

"SONIC AND ZION IS MISSING?!" Everyone shouted. "Y-yeah. That's right. That's why it's a mess here" Tails replied with a bit of sad face. "But why didn't you said to me earlier??" Amy asked with a worried face. "I thought I can do this all by myself" Tails replied. "Well let's find Mr. Sonic and Mr. Zion together, Mr. Tails!" Cream said to Tails since she has an idea to find Sonic and Zion together. Tails' accepted, and it's decided. Tails' friends are going to find Sonic and Zion.
