Flashback

You cuddled your penguin plushie terrified. You mother had abandoned you at the park. You weren't sure whether she had on purpose or not. But it had gotten close to midnight. You clung onto your penguin as drunk men and women walked past you. Some tripping over you and others nearly falling on you. You felt yourself get grabbed. You didn't scream. You were too scared to make a noise. But this person wasn't trying to take you away. They were taking you too a safe place. You wear being held by a woman. You held onto your penguin as tight as you could.

"It's all right. I won't let anyone hurt you." The woman spoke.

That woman was Endou Atsuko. She took you in. Her son, Endou Mamoru, played soccer all the time. You even ended up on the same team.

Somehow both of you were part of Inazuma Japan. The one thing you didn't forget to pack. Was you penguin plushie. And that plushie was the start of a beautiful romance.

Flasback over

Present

You walked throughout the building Inazuma Japan were staying in. Clutching onto your Penguin plushie. You were aware you looked like a child but you didn't care. The penguin made you feel safe. Fudou would often laugh at you when he saw you clinging to it. You just shook it off. You made your way to the dining room and sat on one of the benches. You placed the penguin on the table.

"You're the only thing I have left from my mother." You whispered to it. "Why did she leave me?" you let a tear slip from your (E/C) eyes. You wiped it away and took the plushie back to your room. You walked past Fudou. Unlike the usual laugh. He took the plushie out of you hands. He ran away with it. You chased after him. He got to the top of the stairs before Kidou stopped him. He took the plushie from Fudou and brought it down to me.

"Are you all right (Y/N)?" He asked.

"I'm fine." You took the plushie and went to your room. You ran down to practice realising you were late.

You ran on the pitch and joined the team for practice.

Practice was long and boring that day. But Endou helped you enjoy yourself.

After practice you ran to your room. You took hold of your plushie.

"Why did he help me earlier?" You whispered.

"I helped you because I care." You heard someone say behind you.

"Kidou?" You asked surprised standing up in shock. Still holding the plushie. "Why do you care?" But instead of an answer you felt his lips on yours. You dropped the plushie and wrapped you arms around his neck. 

"I care because I love you."

"K-Kidou. I-I love you too."
