013. Isla & Leo Go To Prom

Chapter Thirteen, Isla & Leo Go To Prom

How many kids does Roman Reigns have? Meet his mini Bloodline at home

Roman Reigns is one of the needle-movers of the modern generation of pro wrestling. Under his Tribal Chief gimmick, Reigns has become one of the greatest stars in sports entertainment history.

The beauty of his star power is that he elevates others, especially his kin in The Bloodline. Although The Island of Relevancy has suffered major cracks lately, The Usos and Solo Sikoa owe much of their success to The Tribal Chief.

WWE fans may be well-acquainted with Roman Reigns' on-screen Bloodline, but facts about his mini-family at home are kept close to the chest. The Head of The Table is a true professional; he keeps his family life private and seldom breaks character.

However, there have been instances, particularly on podcasts or Instagram posts, where his private life has become public. Reigns is married to Inari Anoa'i, an entrepreneur, and the married couple have six children.

Their eldest son, Leo Anoa'i was born May 23, 2006. Their only daughter, Isla Anoa'i, was born in December 2007 and was famously featured in a heartwarming commercial ten years ago with her father.

In addition, Roman Reigns and Inari also have two pairs of twins. The first pair, Lennox and Landon Anoa'i were born in 2016. The next two, Luca and Liko Anoa'i were born in 2020 during the pandemic era.

The Tribal Chief is a loving father and a devoted husband. If his on-screen character is any indication, he knows how to protect and support his mini-Bloodline.

While gently brushing through her daughter Isla's long, chocolate brown locks, Inari listens contentedly as Isla chatters on about how thrilled she is that Manu, the handsome senior she's had a crush on all year, finally asked her to prom.

Inari smiles to herself, vividly remembering what it felt like to be a lovesick teenager head-over-heels for a cute boy. She thinks back fondly on her high school days when she first developed feelings for Joe.

She reminisces on the butterflies in her stomach every time Joe walked by her locker and the shy smiles they would exchange in the hallway.

As Isla gushes about how dreamy Manu's eyes are and how he makes her heart race every time he looks her way, Inari is transported back to her youth and those new, intoxicating feelings of first love.

She makes a mental note to gently break the news about Manu to Joe later that evening, knowing that Joe and Isla's overly protective uncles will likely want to interrogate the poor boy.

Inari knows that while Joe and the uncles have good intentions, their overprotectiveness can be a bit much. She hopes to temper their reaction, reminding them how exciting young love can be.

Most importantly, Inari wants Isla to feel comfortable coming to her with matters of the heart, just as Inari felt she could always confide in her mother at that age.

Inari continues brushing Isla's hair, offering motherly advice about prom as she reflects on her nostalgic memories of new love.

With prom just a week away, Inari was feeling anxious about having to speak with Joe regarding his daughter Isla attending prom.

She knew Joe could be quite protective of Isla, and wasn't sure how he would react to hearing Isla wanted to go to prom with a boy named Manu.

Inari decided to take advantage of the opportunity presented when Joe unexpectedly showed up at her photoshoot while she was getting her hair and makeup done.

As the makeup artist blended foundation smoothly across her cheeks, Inari gently broke the news to Joe about Isla's prom date.

At first, Joe's eyebrows furrowed with hesitation, clearly uneasy about his young daughter attending such an event with a boy.

Sensing his apprehension, Inari quickly added that their son Leo would also be going to the same prom, so Joe needn't worry about Isla being unsupervised.

She could tell Joe was still reluctant, so she further reassured him that Manu came from a nice family and was a perfect gentleman who would take good care of Isla.

After some thoughtful convincing from Inari, Joe finally agreed Isla could attend prom, though Inari suspected he would still be anxiously awaiting his daughter's safe return home that evening.

With a deep breath, Inari smiled with relief, glad she was able to change Joe's mind and grant Isla this special high school memory.

Inari grabbed her phone and FaceTimed Isla, who answered excitedly. "Guess what?" Inari exclaimed with a grin. "I convinced your dad to let you go to prom!" Isla's eyes lit up and she jumped up and down, squealing with delight. "Oh my gosh, thank you so much!" she responded. "I can't believe it! I'm so excited to go with Manu."

Just then, Joe took the phone from Inari. "Now hold on a minute," he said to Isla. "I'll allow you to go, but first I need to meet this Manu boy before I let him take my only daughter to prom." Isla's smile faded.

She knew how intimidating Joe could be when vetting her potential dates. But she appreciated that he was willing to give Manu a chance.

"Okay, I understand," Isla replied. "I'll have Manu come over this weekend so you can get to know him. Thank you again for reconsidering!" Joe nodded, satisfied for the moment.

He returned the phone to the slyly grinning Inari, who gave Isla a thumbs up. Their plan was working perfectly.

A week later, Inari took Isla and Leo shopping for prom, the highlight of the social calendar for many high school seniors.

While Leo had already prepared for the big event, having purchased his tuxedo and accessories the month before with help from Joe, Isla was woefully unprepared.

She and Inari embarked on an epic marathon shopping trip to find the perfect prom dress. After visiting what felt like every dress shop in town, they finally found a beautiful gown in Inari's size that could be tailored to fit Isla's petite frame. The seamstress worked her magic, expertly altering the dress so it hugged Isla's curves just right.

With her dress finally secured, Isla felt ready for the big night, though a final hurdle remained. When Manu came to pick her up, he first had to endure an intense grilling from Joe and the other men during their "guys' night," no doubt involving plenty of stern warnings to treat Isla with respect.

The poor boy weathered their interrogation with grace and finally received their seal of approval to take the lovely Isla to prom. After all the scrambling and preparation, Isla could now relax, confident she and Manu would have an unforgettable evening dancing the night away.

"Hold on before y'all leave I need to take pictures," Inari called out, halting Leo and Isla and their prom dates just as they were headed out the front door towards the stairs leading down to where their rental cars were parked in the driveway.

The four teenagers paused on the porch steps, the girls in their glittering gowns and the boys in their sharp tuxedos, as Inari and Trinity came bustling out of the house with cameras in hand.

Inari and Trinity took turns enthusiastically snapping photos of the pairs, arranging Leo and his date and then Isla and her date in various poses - back to back, arms around each other, girls sitting on the stairs with the boys standing behind.

Watching from inside, Jonathan remarked to Jon and Renee how much Leo's date, with his curly pompadour hair and confident stance, reminded him of a younger version of Joe.

"Well, you know what they say, daughters like men who remind of their father or whatever that quote is," Jon replied with a chuckle.

Renee just shook her head, correcting him, "That's not the quote at all, but okay."

After the photo session finally wrapped up, the prom couples climbed into their cars and drove off into the night while Inari and the rest of the family went back inside the house to relax and hang out.
