"What makes you think Victor would let me live?" Brent scoffs. "I am better off dead."

"It's true." Kyros says, "Victor is incapable of emotions like forgiveness or brotherhood."

"So, you just want to give in to his demands?" Abir asks, looking at Kyros. He means Inara.

"Right now, we have a burial to look after." Kyros gets up, walking out of the room. He pats Damon's shoulder, telling him that he will fix this.

"If it wasn't for them, I would have killed you," Abir warns him and leaves the room too.

"I would be dead anyway. You or Victor, you all are the same." He murmurs under his breath.

"Where is the kid?" Kyros asks, looking at the empty couch.

"He is sleeping in Inara's room." Zade closes the coffin.

"We will perform the rites tomorrow. Abir can do them." Damon looks at the coffin too, softly touching it.

"Not addressing the elephant in the room will not make it go away." Brent interrupts them. "Just give Victor what he wants and stop further destruction."

This time it was Zade who chokes him, pushing him in the wall. "One more word from you and I kill you right here and send your mangled body parts back to Victor."

"There is no need." Inara comes out of her room and Zade puts Brent down. "I will go there myself."

Ivory drops the glass of water she was holding. Everyone looks just as shocked as they hear the words of insanity coming from her mouth.

"What are you talking about?" Kyros breaks the silence.

"What Victor wants; he gets it." Inara says, determined. "I will go to him."

"I think you have lost your mind." Abir scoffs at her stupidity.

"How many heads do you want, ripped off from their bodies before you lose your mind too?" Inara looks at the coffin.

"This isn't your fault, Inara." Damon clarifies it. "We cannot give in to the devil's demands."

"The last time you trusted him, our whole pack was murdered." Kyros reminds her.

"Because I was weak and stupid at that time. Now, I am not." Inara walks up to Zade who was silent. She holds his hand, reassuring him. "I know what I am doing. I have a plan."

Zade sighs at her, "I cannot let you do this....." he whispers.

"Please. Just trust me." She whispers back. Zade wants to but he doesn't want to lose her. But Hunter said something that he never knew he would.

"Trust her." he growls. Zade kisses her forehead, giving a small nod.

"NO!" Kyros and Damon shout in unison. "We can't!"

"I am not going alone." She says. "He will accompany me." Pointing at Brent.

"Why, why me?" he shivers.

"Just to help along with the plan." She walks and hugs both Damon and Kyros, "Just trust me. I know what I am doing."

Zade closes the bedroom door after him and looks at Inara caressing Beta's hair. He was sleeping peacefully.

"Spill out." Zade says.

"You heard?" Inara asks, her eyes sparkly.

"Hunter just said to trust you. I understood that Alaska must have talked to him." Inara comes to hug him and Zade embraces her.

"Ahhhhh! I am gonna miss this scent." She inhales him.

"Don't stall Inara." He pulls away from the hug and cups her cheek. "If it is dangerous, I am not going to let you do this. Even if Hunter tells me otherwise."

"It is dangerous." Inara won't lie, "But I realized if all of my memories come back, I'll be able to defeat Victor."

"What do you mean?" Zade asks confused. He thought all her memories were back.

"I don't have all of them back, yet." She lifts her blouse to point at the scar, "And I think it is related to this."

"How are you so sure?" Zade asks.

"I feel that they are hiding it from me." She remarks. "You said that Abir once told you that you wouldn't be able to save me from myself. But I was holding out pretty well."

"That could just be a coincidence," Zade argues.

"Trust me. It's my gut feeling." She looks at Beta, "I got another vision. It was the time when Victor came to our house in the forest with the marriage proposal. I caught up to his lies so I already hid Luca's scent from me. I feel there was more to it. I was hiding more than just a mating mark and scent."

"And Victor was angry after killing Luca because he found something that would break his deal with the Elders. What do you think it would be?"

"But going into the lion's den?" Zade raises his concern.

"That's where my plan comes in." she looks at Beta lovingly, "And he agreed to help me."
