"Zade, it's me, Isaac. Kyros...Kyros is awake!"

Zade is shocked too. He cuts the call and looks at Inara who was sitting there with a blank expression on her face. He wastes no more time and helps her to get up. He takes the car keys and drags Inara with him outside, where he breaks the news to both Ivory and Abir.

"Kyros is awake!" he starts the engine of the car, making sure Inara was wearing the seatbelt. "Come on! Hurry! We need to get to the hospital!"

"What...what about Victor?" Ivory asks as she is cramming at the back of the car with Abir.

"I'll call Odin for some backup. Let's get to the hospital first!"

The white walls of the hospital are all too similar to Inara. She spent four years in a coma here. It had become her unofficial home and Isaac her unofficial caretaker. But she always felt foreign here. There were other doctors too. An emergency patient was right behind Zade's car and was rushed to the hospital as all of them rush in too.

"Doctor Isaac?" Abir asks as soon as they reach the receptionist.

She points at one of the smaller rooms at the end of the corridor. Zade was still holding on to Inara, dreading the moment she would speak. The doors open to an awake Kyros as Zade's heart starts to beat faster. Isaac leaves the room as he pats Zade's shoulder.

"In.... Inara....." was what he said as soon as he saw his little sister.

Inara left Zade's hand and walks slowly towards her brother, her eyes wide. She touches his hand softly and then flinches away because, for the first time in a long time, his hands were incredibly warm.

She holds his hands again and falls on her knees, crying her heart out. Zade could feel the pain in his own heart. He clutches it as if it was being torn into pieces. Ivory and Abir walk to him too, looking equally happy and relieved.

"Do you remember me?" Inara finally asks between her sobs.

"Yes...of course." He smiles. "How can I forget my little sister?" Kyros caresses her cheek and then turns to his trusted wolves. "I see you took care of her."

Abir nods, tears flowing down his cheek. Ivory holds the other hand of Kyros and kisses it.

"You have no idea how happy I am to see you awake!"

"Then why are you guys crying?" he says cutely. Inara breaks into a chuckle. She keeps clutching his hand as if he would disappear again.

"I won't go anywhere this time, I promise," Kyros says softly. His eyes fall at the back where Zade was standing, his head hung low. He was actually hiding his tears.

"And who is this young man?" Kyros asks, trying to sit up. Abir helps him with a pillow. Zade lifts his head slowly to speak but Kyros startles him.

"Zade Carter?" Kyros's voice breaks as he remembers the young man in front of him. He must have changed a lot but his face was still the same. The same eyes.

"Do you remember me?" Zade is walking slowly towards Kyros.

"Damon's brother?" Kyros asks with a hopeful tone. Zade nods enthusiastically as Kyros holds out his hand to reach him. Inara steps aside and urges Zade to hold his hand.

"How is Damon? Is he.....alive?" he gulps.

"He is," Zade says between his tears. "He remembers you a lot."

"Is he cured?" Kyros asks again. Zade nods sadly but assures him that he is still hanging there, waiting for his best friend to wake up.

"That bastard! I told him to use my blood when he had the time." Kyros huffs angrily.

"My brother is known to be stubborn." Zade chuckles.

"It wasn't that he didn't want it. He wanted to keep me strong in case another war broke out." He caresses Zade's hand, "I am happy that you are still with our pack. I am deeply sorry for what happened to the Blue Moons. I was supposed to..."

"I think you should rest for now." Zade stops him. "We can talk later."

"Actually, I am hungry..." Kyros's voice becomes smaller as the rumbling from his stomach grows.

"Of course, you'll be." Inara chuckles, wiping her tears. "You have been on the hospital's food for the past six years, and that too, a liquid diet! Look at your arms, as if some skeleton."

"What? Six years?" Kyros says in bewilderment.

"We have a lot of catching up to do, buddy." Abir pats his shoulder.

"I'll call Isaac." Inara walks out as Zade, Abir and Ivory give Kyros company.

"Well, he is sleeping now," Isaac says after closing the door. "It has been three hours since he woke up and apart from some swollen nerves and sleepiness, Kyros is healthy." He assures them. They all were sitting in his office.

"What about his blood?" Zade asks curiously. Inara looks at him with an unreadable expression. Was his blood really that important right now? Kyros just woke up.

"Thankfully, he hasn't locked away his wolf, so his blood is returning to normal. He has also started to produce wolfsbane and we are taking it out every 45 minutes. The blood transfusion isn't complete yet."

"But if you want, I can give some of his blood to you for Damon." Isaac proposes.

"No," Zade says firmly. "We will let him recover fully. I know he will love to meet Damon. I don't want to pressurize him into doing something." Zade gets up after saying this. "I'll go and get some water."

Inara looks at him with confusion. Was that concern that she heard in his voice?

Zade walks towards the vending machine to get some water bottles. But someone's presence sent chills down his spine.

"Long time no see!" Victor says cheerfully.

"What do you want?" Zade says in a loud tone. He wanted to assert his dominance.

"Just...found out that my long-lost nemesis was finally awake. Just came by to say hii." Victor grins at him.

"Do not go near them, do you understand?" Zade holds him by his collar.

"Easy there! I am just here to crack a deal. If you are interested." Victor removes himself from his grip.

"I don't want any deal with you. I am not Evelyn." Zade says that and walks away from there.

"See you soon then," Victor shouts but Zade was already out of there.

"Kyros wants to meet Damon," Abir says when Zade comes with water.

"But he is still weak," Zade argues. This confuses Inara more.

"He can be shifted to home treatment once the transfusion is complete." Isaac points out. "You have a Beta, right?"

"Yes, Odin. How is that old man?" Kyros asks cheerfully. He was returning to normal. His skin returned to the sweet honey color, his hair too was becoming thick again.

"As old as you left him to be." Zade jokes. "You can give me Kyros's reports. I'll give them to Odin." Isaac nods but warns them once more.

"He is still weak so he won't be able to commute by himself. He has to use the wheelchair for a few days." They all nod in unison.

"Inara and Zade, why don't you have your dinner? We'll wait here till you finish." Ivory says. Zade thinks it was a good idea. He also promises to bring them something too.

"We'll be back!" Inara says as she leaves.

"You mean to say, I shouldn't remind Inara of anything?" Kyros asks once Inara is out of the room. Earlier, Abir had snuck in and told him about everything that has been happening.

"We are trying that she remembers them on her own. But it seems difficult. We don't want to hurt her." Abir pleads.

"I understand." Kyros thinks a little, "But if Zade is her mate, shouldn't he at least know?"

"We are just waiting for the right time, Kyros," Ivory says.

"He'll be hurt if he gets to know about it from someone else." Kyros takes a long sigh.
