Isaac gives Zade a file and he looks through it. Much to say, he didn't understand anything.

"To put it in simple terms, the blood composition. It is different from every other wolf out there. The most interesting is, that it changes with generations within the family too. Like it might mutate itself or something." He gives him some reports that date back to six years ago.

"I studied both of their blood thoroughly. They had almost a similar composition, but the other was a bit stronger."

"Inara?" Zade guesses.

"Bingo! They both came here six years ago, in a state that was unbearable to look at. Blood loss, multiple fractures, and bite marks, ugh! It was one of the worst days of humanity. Inara stayed in a coma for four years before waking up with no memories. I ran some tests and it turned out she had locked away her wolf self. It took her a year in the rehabilitation center and then she moved out. She found a job in the city."

Zade remembers the conversation he had with Inara after the Christmas party. How she met Brent and she was scouted for a job she wasn't even qualified for.

"Her blood changed too?" Zade questions.

"It is more like reduced. If the poison isn't running in her veins, there isn't much work for the blood to do. Until and unless her wolf wakes up, her poison won't start running, and nor will her blood."

"What about Kyros?"

"Even though there are only slight differences in their blood, Kyros still would heal quicker than other wolves. And he could heal others too. But even after six years, he refuses to wake up. But..." Isaac stops before continuing.

"But what?" Zade asks.

"When he first came here, in that state, he was drained of most of his blood. I was actually in disbelief as to how he even managed it without getting into a shock or even being brain-dead. No one, not even a wolf can survive such massive blood loss. And the most important word here to focus on is..." he points at the note in the report.

"He was drained of blood. There were two needle points on both of his hands which suggested somebody literally emptied the blood from his body, then beat him up brutally and left him at the scene, making it seem like he bled to death."

"So, we should celebrate Victor!" Brent says enthusiastically.

"It isn't anything to be celebrated about. We have a lot of things to do." Victor sits there, reading the paper. They shouldn't be celebrating such small victories. It can also be a trap, to distract them from far bigger things.

"But Vic..." Brent's eyes widen when he sees his face, "Your...face..." he stutters.

Victor lifts an eyebrow and he touches his scar. He flinches at his own touch and before he knows it was stinging like hell.

"Your face...it's melting?" Brent was equally shocked to say this thing out loud.

Victor dashes upstairs without glancing at Brent and locks his room door.

"Go to the office, Now!" Victor shouts when Brent refuses to stop banging on his door.

"But Vic..."

"NOW!" Victor releases his pheromones to assert his decision.

Once he senses that Brent has gone, he opens his safe. He gulps down the second last vial of blood, letting it slowly go down his throat as he looks at himself in the mirror. He was healing!

Victor looks at the empty vial in the dustbin and the last one in his safe. He is in dire need of the blood. The last stock helped him for six years but now, he has to have more.

From a Blood Stone wolf.

"So, he doesn't have his blood now? Isn't his system producing anymore?" Zade asks confused. He came here for Kyros's blood and it seems he won't be getting any.

"Only if he wakes up. That is also a 50-50 chance." Isaac sits down with a sigh. A sigh that showed his pity for this family of wolves. "He is on life support and blood transfusion. What he has now is normal wolf blood. He doesn't produce wolfsbane too."

"Inara doesn't have healing properties, nor does Kyros..." Zade gets up and tries to stop his head from throbbing. He came all the way for nothing.

"Only until her wolf awakens. Isn't that what you want to work towards?" Isaac suggests.

"I...." Zade was at a cross-road. He knows that getting her memories back will make her more prone to Victor's attacks too. So, he wanted to find a solution with Kyros's blood.

"You seem to be concerned for her. Don't forget, she is actually much more powerful than Kyros." Isaac points out.

"What do you mean? She is an Omega." Zade lifts an eyebrow. How can an Omega be powerful than an Alpha? He doesn't want to sound sexist but Alphas are born with certain genes and pheromones which make them stronger than Betas and Omegas.

"That's what makes her more powerful, Zade." Isaac reminds him, "Omegas natural powers are their healing senses. And, Inara being from a pack of wolves whose blood heals a poison like Wolfsbane..."

"She becomes the ultimate Omega. As long as she is alive, has her wolf, no one would actually be hurt." It was all coming together. Maybe, that is why Victor wants to remind her of her memories. And that's why Abir and Ivory are refusing the same.

Zade sits down with a sigh. His head was ready to burst out of pain.

"I don't know what you are planning to do, but whatever it is, it requires Inara's memories." Isaac makes Zade known.

"And we can't do it ourselves. She has to do it herself." Abir says, leaning on the doorframe. He drove here as fast as possible and Zade didn't notice but he heard their conversation.

"Then, we should help her." Zade himself was unsure that he would want Inara to go through this.

"Her brain has locked away those memories for a reason." Isaac retorts with a scoff. "You think we wouldn't have already tried it?"
