"You fucking traitors!" Zade chokes Inara, "Your brother betrayed us!"

"Zade!" Abir tries to take Inara out of Zade's hold, "Calm the fuck down! Ivory, call the guards, quick!"

Inara coughs but Zade keeps on choking her.

"It isn't the truth!" Abir tries to talk to Zade who seems to have blood-lust on his mind, "For the matter of fact, it isn't the whole truth!"

"Then tell me the reason that how my entire pack that was left under Kyros's supervision six years ago, perished to dust when we came back! Everyone was killed, to the last member of my family! I couldn't even get to bury anyone because I don't even know where their bodies are! And you are telling me it isn't the fucking truth?" he was growling which means his wolf would come out any second.

The only thing that was controlling Zade to unleash his madness was the fact that Inara was his mate.

"Even if you think it is Kyros's fault," Abir finally pushes Zade away, "why are you punishing her? She doesn't even remember anything!" Abir points at Inara who was trying to get her breath back.

"Yes! Yes, you are right!" Zade gets back, panting hard, "Kyros is alive! That bastard is alive after killing my pack! And you guys have been tending to him at the hospital." He looks at them with fury in his eyes. "This is what you were protecting Inara from? Huh? You knew that I would connect the dots once I knew who Inara was and bring her coward brother to justice."

"Believe me!" Abir scoffs, defending Inara, "I wanted you to be the only problem in her life but sadly we don't always get what we want from life."

"Well, I will get what I always wanted! Revenge." He dashes towards the door, "And don't worry, because after I kill him, I'll be coming for you guys!" he threatens them.

Ivory just dashes in with the guards but Zade couldn't care less. He had rage on his mind and it didn't take him seconds to beat down those guards.

"Zade, whatever you are doing, it's wrong!" Hunter growls from inside as Zade drives his car recklessly to the hospital where Kyros was allegedly admitted.

"I cannot believe that you chose her to be our mate! Her brother murdered our entire pack, our family!" Zade growls back. He was so pissed off and he was in no mood to listen to Hunter.

"You don't know the truth! It's been six years! Our pack vanished six years ago!" Hunter growls.

"Well now, we punish the culprit!" as soon as Zade finishes the sentence, a truck was heading right towards him.

He doesn't know when and how it hits him, but all he remembers seeing a flash of lights.

"Zade? Where the fuck are you?" Abir has been calling Zade for a few hours and he wouldn't pick up. He was definitely going to kill Kyros. But luckily, someone picked.

"Excuse me? This is Daniel. Your friend seems to be in an accident and I just found this phone on the road." Daniel says over the phone.

"What? Where?" Abir asks frantically.

"Just outside Route 24. The ambulance left the scene ten minutes ago." Daniel says and texts him the address.

Abir takes a deep breath knowing that Zade wasn't out of town yet and the only hospital that was nearby was this.

"What happened? Where is Zade?" Inara asks him.

"He's been in an accident." Inara looks shocked and guilty. It was because of her that he was so angry. And it was because of her that he had an accident. "He will reach here in like ten minutes or so. This is the nearest hospital."

"Will, will he be okay?" Inara's voice shivers.

"Don't worry. We will make sure he is safe." Ivory places her hand on her shoulder but Inara removes it coldly.

"Leave. I need some time alone." She turns her back towards them

Abir and Ivory look at each other. They have no other choice than to listen to her right now. She was hurt and she needed to calm down.

"This is all my fault!" Inara whispers when they are gone. She looks at her hand as if there was blood on them.

Her brother's blood and Zade's.

Evelyn rushes to the hospital when she gets a call. She was going to give an earful to Zade but when she enters the room, two people were already there. There was a strange tension around them.

"Oh! Baby, what happened?" Evelyn acts in front of them and looks at Zade.

Zade makes a disgusted face but gulps it down with more acting. "Nothing baby, I am okay."

He was actually okay. Just a small fracture in the arm and his head was bruised a little. "The doctors just said they would run some tests to check if there is internal bleeding."

Evelyn leans and whispers the next, "What have you done to yourself this time?"

"Nothing honey. Nothing to be worried about." He fakes a smile at her.

Inara rushes to the room once she finds that Zade was back.

"Are, are you okay?" she pants.

Zade turns his back towards her as he speaks, "Eve, can you bring me some of my clothes, please? I might spend a few days here. No one should come to my room, except for Evelyn. No one!" he emphasizes on the last part, making it clear that he didn't want Inara to be around him.

Ivory and Abir also leave the room, with Inara.

"What's the beef between you and your hot-shot boss?" Evelyn comes back to her true character.

"None of your business." Zade tries to sit up, "Just bring some of my clothes. You don't need to stay here."

"But you just said..." she argues but he holds his other hand up.

"That was just an act. Now get out, please. My head is dizzy and you aren't someone I like to see, that too double of you." He drinks some water.

Evelyn scoffs and closes the door behind her with a bang.

"But your expression said that there was something wrong." Evelyn thinks. She saw Inara in the same hospital gown as Zade. And she was eager to meet him. But Zade, for the first time who has only been defending her, shunned her completely.

Evelyn takes out her phone and makes the necessary call.

"I think it is time to meet," Evelyn smirks.
