Back at the party, Victor was sitting silently in his booth with Brent walking to and fro.

"Even though she lost her memories, she still is a feisty one." Brent grits his teeth talking about Inara.

"You can't change someone's personality," Victor remarks.

He is holding a small necklace with a moonstone as a pendant.

"Look, Victor, you are a very good friend of mine. But what is with this marriage proposal?" Inara is surprised when the Black Alders came to her house to ask for her hand in marriage for Victor. He was considered to be the weakest Alpha of their pack so Inara and his marriage are a perfect balance of nature.

But Inara didn't want to marry him. Since the elders of the family were inside, she calls Victor out to talk about her dilemma. Their house was in the middle of the forest, surrounded by huge trees. That's what wolves should do. Stay in forests, close to nature.

"I have loved you since the past decade, Inara. Can't you see?" Victor pleads to her. It was true but he certainly had other plans. He holds her arm tightly.

"Stop it, Vic." She gets out of his hold, "You are hurting me." She gives him a slight push but since she was a very powerful Omega, her push even in her human form was deadly. Victor hits his back to the tree and groans in pain.

"You are one powerful Omega. We gotta control that unnatural strength of yours." Victor groans getting up. Inara lifts a brow watching his scratch heal quickly.

How can his wounds heal so quickly if he is the weakest Alpha of their pack?

"You know Kyros will never agree to this marriage, right?" Inara warns him as he was walking slowly at her, looking menacing. "He knows that I love someone else!"

Victor smirks. "But you haven't mated him yet, right?"

Inara looks back at him with wide eyes. How does he know? She only told this to her brother!

Looking at Inara's expression, Victor smirks more, "Name – Luca Clarke. Rank – Alpha. Pack name – Moon Stone Pack." He makes a disgusted expression, "Ugh! Even the name smells of low bloods."

"How.... how'd you know?" Inara was stepping back.

Her hand automatically goes to her neck as she feels relieved her hair is still covering it. If Victor knows about Luca, he can't know that she has already mated him. She has ingested Bergamot herb to cover up Luca's smell on her on Kyros's suggestion.

"I can know anything that I want to know, doll." Victor was slowly trudging towards her.

"He hasn't mated you yet which means you can forget him. Come on! This is an opportunity of a lifetime. Black Alders and the Blood Stones coming together and ruling entire Alaska!"

Inara gets confused at that. What does he mean by this opportunity? Then it hits her.

Victor's smell was too much for an inferior Alpha!

"You!" Inara shouts once she realizes what he did. "You have other plans! You lied to us!" her instincts kick in and she slaps Victor right across his face.

Victor balls his fist up and controls his anger. If he releases his Alpha pheromones now, he'll be caught.

"You shouldn't have done that, doll!" Victor warns Inara.

"You are not an inferior Alpha!" Inara has caught up to his lies, "You are the Black Alder's pack leader!"

"Ooooo.... You have a great sense of smell." He compliments Inara but it doesn't seem like one, "But apparently, not good enough running speed." He jumps on her in his wolf form but Inara has good instincts too. She turns into her wolf, Alaska, and attacks him back.

Victor's wolf, Frost was good at defending but Alaska was better at attacking so she bit his shoulder and runs into the forest.

Frost gets on his feet, looking at his wound.

"Not so fast you Omega! Once we fool your brother, I am going to take revenge on you!" Frost growls.

"Vic? Vic? Earth to Vic calling!" Brent shakes him. Victor looks at the necklace in his hand and keeps it down.

"Find out if Zade Carter's ancestral home is at the same place or no. I have a feeling that I have a lot to talk to him." He smirks, sipping his drink.

"But, what about Inara?" he reminds Victor.

"She doesn't have her memories yet. Which means she is still a human and of least importance to me. She might have been the most powerful Omega before but without her wolf, she is nothing. We better just keep an eye on her. Abir and Ivory will keep reminding her of her memories. We don't have to work hard."

He gets up to exit the party but not before giving an order to Brent.

"I want it by tomorrow on my desk."
