As soon as Inara has dragged Zade out of the building, she leaves his arm and walks over to the bridge. Zade stands there, not knowing what to do next. It was cold outside and Inara didn't even take her coat while walking out of there so Zade decides to help her.

He puts his coat on her as he could hear her take a long sigh.

"You did well today," Zade leans on the bridge too, looking at the moon at the sky.

"Thanks. I tried," Inara replies back with a small smile.

"Hey," Zade calls her, "if Victor bothers you so much, why don't you look for another job? A better one?"

"A better one?" Inara looks confused.

"I read a few of your collections. You were the editor. And to be honest, this company isn't really exploring your abilities. It seems like you aren't aware of your own capabilities," Zade deduces. It was really confusing why Inara was still in this rotten company even when she has so many better prospects.

"What, you are a psychology major now?" Inara jokes but looking at Zade's serious face, her smile drops.

"Look, it's not like want to keep working here," she tries to change the topic, "I hope I didn't offend you or anything by taking your name like that. You were flustered back there," She touches his arm gently, reminding him of what happened back at the party.

"I was just surprised..." Zade assures her, "And I thought you needed my help."

She looks back at the sky with another long sigh and removes her hand from his arm.

"It's not like I haven't thought about quitting," She looks down and then back up.

"What is stopping you?" Zade might know the answer because he heard her and Victor talking about it.

"You see, I actually don't have any qualifications to become a chief editor," She sighs again.

"What?" Zade asks dumbfounded.

"Yes. I don't have a degree. I am not even a college graduate but Brent gave me this job. Whatever I know, whatever I have learned, it is all from them. So, you can see why I can't leave. Not only I can't get a job outside, but I am also in need of money. I can't depend on Abir and Ivory the whole time."

"I joined this company six months ago but I knew Abir and Ivory from before. They have helped me a lot. So, you can see how I can't leave them here alone too," She sighs again.

"What about Victor? How does he fit onto this story?" Zade questions.

"I don't know. I just know he is trouble and I am advised to stay away from him," She walks towards her car when Zade stops her again.

"Who is in the hospital?"

Inara looks back with wide eyes and Zade clarifies,

"I am sorry, I heard you both outside the restroom," Zade looks down guiltily. It seems he heard something he wasn't supposed to.

Inara looks back at his car now and asks him, "I assume that you don't mind being late to home tonight?"

Zade nods.

"Let's go for some drinks then."

"I think you should stop for today..." Zade looks at Inara worriedly. She has almost finished one whole whiskey bottle and is on her way to another. Abir and Ivory have been calling her, they even called him but she refuses to pick their calls.

"You are going to drive tonight," She collects his glass too, "So I'll drink yours too."

But Zade snatches the glass from her. She pouts at him cutely but he doesn't pay any heed. He pays to the bartender and picks a drunk Inara up.

"This is enough for today. I am calling Abir," He takes her cell phone to call him up but another call comes on her phone. It says 'Doctor Isaac'

Inara wasn't in a condition to answer so he picks the call.

"Hello, Miss Inara? This is doctor Isaac's assistant. There have been some complications with the new medicine. Can you come and meet him? He needs the guardian's consent."

"I am sorry but I am Inara's friend. Can you tell me where to come? I'll drop her," Zade asks, noting the address on his phone.

"Life Care Hospital. Please ask for doctor Isaac," Zade cuts the call and picks Inara up again. He places her gently in the car and goes back inside.

"Can you make two cups of strong coffee? Hurry please," Zade orders the bartender. Inara needs to be sober enough to give any kind of guardian's consent.

He gets in the car with the cups and sees her asleep. He puts on the GPS and starts driving there. It said it was 30 minutes. And the hospital seems to be out of their town. But why? Why is it so far away? It will only make things difficult for Inara during emergencies like these.

She murmurs something into her sleep and Zade gives her the cup to drink.

"Here, drink this," His eyes were still on the road.

She drinks it sleepily but spats it out, "Ewww! It is hot. And bitter!" She complains like a baby.

"Of course, it is bitter. It is coffee," Zade replies back. She drinks it with another pout and tries to go back to sleep, but the GPS called out that the hospital was now 10 minutes away.

"I am not sick! Don't take me to the hospital. I hate it there!" Inara whines in her sleep.

"A doctor named Isaac called you, about some complications with new medicines and your consent as a guardian," He fills her with the details.

Inara seems to have woken up after hearing Isaac's name.

"What? Is he okay?" Inara asks him.

"Who?" Zade doesn't know what she is talking about. She takes her phone out and tries to dial the number groggily.

"He isn't picking up!" she puts her phone down after trying three times.

"Who?" Zade still is as clueless as before.

"Doctor Isaac. Have you called Abir?" she asks him, worried.

"Yes. He said he'll be there before us."

Zade was already in the parking lot of the hospital but Inara opens the door even before he has shut off the engine. He could see both Abir and Ivory standing at the entrance.
