(F/n)'s POV

"Who are you?" I asked

"Did you miss me?" They asked.

"Huh?" I furrowed my eyebrows and looked over my shoulder to try and see the scout's face. I could only see the bottom half, (Marco ;~;) consisting of their mouth and the bottom of their nose.

Their lips were in a small smirk when I looked. And I instantly recognized who's lips those were.

I gasped.

"Levi?"

He nodded in approval. "I'm so happy to see you!" I exclaimed once my hands were free, and I wrapped my arms around his neck in a hug.

"Uh..." I pulled away and blushed, that was quite awkward since we're not really a couple anymore.

"S-sorry...but what are you doing here? How'd you find me?!" He pulled his hood back so I could see the rest of his face.

"I saw your note, and I forced Erwin to tell me." He slightly chuckled. 'Oh how I've missed his laugh-SHUT UP (F/N)! I DON'T WANT HIM BACK!'

"Oh." I replied. "What are you doing here?" He asked, standing up. "I came to see Ms. Kataoka." I answered him.

"Why would you do that? You know what happened last time you saw her!" He shouted. "She said she was the one that had Quinn drug you! And that was her whole plan to get me to come to her so she could 'finish experiments'." I replied.

"But she's locked up?" He furrowed his eyebrows. "I know!" "Can I ask you something?" "What?" I asked. "What did those drunk pigs do to you?" He averted his gaze from me as we walked out of the alley way.

"They kicked the shit out of me and spat nasty words since the Scouts disgust them." I sighed, not wanting to dwell on last night.

"Thanks for saving my ass back there." I chuckled awkwardly, changing the subject. "I'll always save you." He replied quietly.

"Where's your horse?" He asked when we got out of the alley. "I don't know, (he/she) ran away after those assholes yanked me off of (him/her)." I scanned the area to see if (h/n) was there.

"(F-f/n)?" Levi took my hand and I looked at him with confusion. "Yeah?" "I'm very sorry for letting that Quinn drug me shit happen, do you forgive me?"

I grinned, "Of course." I gave him a small hug. "And..d-do you want me back?" He squeezed my hand tighter.

"Yes." I smiled. I saw a smile grow on his face now, as he leaned in, our lips softly touching.

"(F/n)?" I heard a voice. We broke the kiss and looked towards where the voice came from and saw Nathan.

"Oh, hi Nathan." "Who is that?" Levi whispered. "I met him when I went to see Ms. Kataoka." I whispered back, and he nodded.

"I have some news." He panted, he must have been running around looking for me. "What is it?" I furrowed my brows.

"I found your mother." My eye widened as I looked back at Levi. "Oh my God..where is she?!" "She's in an infirmary not that far from here!" He exclaimed.

"What about my father?" I asked him. "Sadly I couldn't find him." He looked at the ground. "Oh, it's ok. I can ask my mother if she knows." I grinned.

"Mind taking care of these kidnappers?" Levi pointed behind us, at the four knocked out men. "Sure thing!" Nathan exclaimed.

Nathan pointed us in the direction of the infirmary and Levi and I got on his horse. "So Nathan was looking for your parents?" Levi asked when his horse started to gallop.

"Yeah, I told him I wanted to find them and he offered to search for them." I replied.

*Infirmary, Wall Rose*

We got to the infirmary and Levi said he would stay outside with his horse while I go in. I walked inside to the front desk.

"Excuse me, is Elise (l/n) here?" I asked a nurse. "Yes. Right this way please." She smiled, showing me down a hallway and to a door.

'This is it..I'm finally going to see my mother after so long!'

The nurse knocked on the door, "Mrs. (L/n)? You have a visitor!" The nurse exclaimed and opened the door for me. After I walked inside, the nurse shut the door and left.

Levi's POV

'So her parents really are alive? I guess I'm happy for her that she's going to see her mother again. Must be nice to know that your parents aren't dead.'

I sighed, leaning against the brick wall behind me. I would have gone in with her, but this is her moment to see her family. I won't intrude.

'I might as well wait inside.' I got up from the wall and walked inside the infirmary. I sat down in the waiting room, looking around.

I never enjoyed being inside of an infirmary, whether I was the one being treated or not. It just made me feel uncomfortable.

*Flashback*

"Are you Kenny Ackerman?" A doctor asked, walking out of a room. "Yes." My uncle replied. "And you're Levi Ackerman, son of Kuchel Ackerman?" He asked me and I nodded.

"Would you like to see her, I'm afraid she won't be here for much longer." The doctor added, "Sure. C'mon, Levi." Kenny grabbed my hand and we followed the doctor to the room where my mother was.

We walked into the room and I went to my mother's side. She looked terrible. I knew she was dying and didn't have much longer to live.

"Levi, I have something for you. Open it when you get back home with Kenny." She weakly said, handing me a small box. I nodded, taking the box from her.

"Kenny, please take good care of him." "Anything for you, Kuchel." He grinned. She started coughing, and gasping for air. Kenny started shouting and so did the doctor.

I slowly backed out of the room, then ran out. Before I left I heard, "SHE'S DEAD, YOU COULD HAVE SAVED HER!"

*Flashback End*

Inside of that box my mother gave me, was the white cravat I wear everyday. I was never told why my mother died, I was just told that she was sent to the infirmary one day.

I was only eleven when she passed, and I ran away.
