*Expedition Day*

3rd Person POV

The Scouts have been outside of the walls for a few hours now. The weather wasn't so pleasant either, it was starting to sprinkle a little.

Today's goal was to reach farther than they've been and set up camp there for the night. Commander Erwin was debating wether or not to have everyone sleep out in the open or on tree branches where it would be a little more safe.

So far there has only been a few Titan encounters, but nothing major. Ethan wasn't really nervous anymore after he witnessed his first Titan. (F/n) started to call him 'Hanji Jr.' because of it.

Yeah he was still a little nervous on the inside, but he wasn't going to let his nerves get the best of him and take control. (F/n) even gave him some tips on how to kill a Titan easier over the past week.

(F/n)'s POV

About ten minutes ago, Levi ordered all of us to split up. He didn't really give a specific reason as to why. But he said we would regroup later. Eren, Ethan, and I were in a group.

Thankfully we didn't run into a Titans yet. Yet. We heard roars that could only belong to Titans. "Brace yourselves!" I shouted, getting out blades and preparing myself for the attack to happen at any moment.

Just then, seven Titans appeared out of nowhere and started chasing after us. We all snapped the reins on our horses so we could try and escape.

"I can stop them if I transform-" "Don't do it Eren! Just keep moving!" I shouted at him. I didn't hear anything behind me anymore so I glanced over my shoulder and saw Eren was gone.

"Ethan, you keep going. I've got to get Eren." I shouted to him, then turning around and quickly went back for Eren. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!" I yelled at him once I got to where he was.

"Just let me transform into a Titan! There's too many for us to handle, so let me take care of them!" He shouted. "Do you know what would happen if the commander or corporal found out? They would kill you because you were told not to go Titan mode!"

Eren stopped listening to me and bit his hand. "WHAT ARE YOU-" There was a bright flash of light in front of me, and I almost got blinded. I looked up and there he was, Eren's Titan form.

I growled in annoyance and went back over to Ethan. "He transformed?!" He shouted. "Yeah, that damn brat wouldn't listen to orders!" I frowned. 'I'm starting to sound like Levi.'

Every so often I would look behind me to check on Eren. But this time when I looked, he was getting defeated by the Titans. "Come on, we've got to help him!" I ordered, turning around again.

We both started heading back to where Eren was. He was only able to kill two Titans, but the rest were trying to eat him. "Defend Eren while I take care of the Titans!" "Yes, ma'am!" Ethan shouted, getting off of his horse.

I got off of mine and shot my anchors up to the first Titan. I killed that one with no problem. When I was about to kill the next one, a Titan was just about to get to Eren's nape and another was about to pick Ethan up.

Eren was still standing up and trying to fight them off, but I could tell he was getting exhausted. The Titan bit Eren's nape just as I was maneuvering over to Ethan. "NO!" I shouted, as I grabbed Ethan from the Titan's hand.

We landed on the ground and I activated my force field. Ethan was shocked at first, I don't think I told him about my power yet. The Titan that had Eren fell backwards dropping him, because the force field separated it from Eren.

The force field was huge and I was running out of energy fast. It went all the way around Eren's Titan body. "Ethan, go catch Eren before he hits the ground!" I shouted at him, seeing Eren falling from where the Titan used to be.

Ethan scrambled to get up and used his 3DMG and caught Eren before returning to the ground safely. "The Titan body!" He shouted. I looked up and saw Eren's Titan body falling over.

Levi's POV

I heard some Titan roars off in the distance. One of them stuck out, it was Jaeger's. 'God dammit, when will that brat ever learn how to follow orders?' I decided to go over to them and find out what was happening.

All of a sudden I heard something loud, followed by a (f/c) light shining from behind a forest. I snapped the reins and went through the forest. When I got to the other side, I saw Eren's Titan body on the ground with (f/n)'s force field around them.

"What the hell is going on?!" I shouted. But then the Titans heard and started coming after me. "Shit." I muttered under my breath. I maneuvered up to one of the Titan's napes and sliced it.

3rd Person POV

While Levi was killing the Titans, (f/n)'s energy was draining more and more every second. She was able to control the force field by holding her arms out in front of her now. Almost like she was trying to push something heavy back.

And the usual (f/c) glow underneath her eyepatch was there. Levi eliminated two Titans already, which only left three now. "You better tell corporal to hurry it up! I can't hold the shield for much longer!" She shouted.

"I'll go help him then!" Ethan shouted back. "Just don't get yourself killed!" (F/n) replied. Ethan ran towards the force field and was able to run right through it. 'So it looks like you can exit the shield, but you can't enter it.' (F/n) thought.

One of the Titans started hitting the force field, causing (f/n)'s energy to disappear faster then before. Her energy was so low now, that her vision was going blurry and she could hardly keep her eyes open.

Just when she was about to give up, the Titan hit it so hard that the force field shattered into shards like breaking glass. The shards turned into little specks of (f/c) dust and disappeared before they hit the ground.

She fell to her knees, watching as darkness took over.

Levi's POV

'The Titan broke her force field?! I thought it was indestructible!' I quickly maneuvered over to the Titan that broke her shield and sliced it's nape. 'Two more to go.' Then cadet Yoshida killed one, so that left one more.

It was huge. Probably at least eighteen meters. It tried grabbing Jaeger but I cut it's hand off before it could do so. "Get to the nape, I'll distract it!" I shouted to Yoshida.

"Yes sir!" He shouted back. I started cutting up the Titan's arm to give Yoshida more time to get to the nape of the neck. "It won't stop moving it's head, I can't get to the neck!" He shouted.

"Tch." I shot my anchors up to it's head and threw my blades in it's eyes. The Titan covered it's eyes and started roaring, while Yoshida got to the nape and cut it.

We went back to the ground where Jaeger and (l/n) were both knocked out on the ground. "You grab Eren, it's best we get out of here before another encounter with Titans." I ordered him. "Yes sir!" He shouted.

I picked up (f/n) and got back on my horse, before we rode off to find the others.
