Everyone had dinner and went for walk.

Sum: Guys it's late. Let's go back

Avu: Yee guys. Let's go back

They all moved back toward their rooms. The night passed. In girl's room no one talked to each other.

Next morning

They all did their morning chores and went to mess. They had their breakfast and went to college. Abhi gestured something to and she nodded. Everyone went to their classes bidding each other bye. Avu came back.

Avu: Kya hua?

Abhi: Umm I am thinking to confess my feelings to Vaish

Avu smiled widely and hugged him tightly.

Avu: I am sooo happyyy. I can't just tell you

Abhi: You are sure it's correct na?

Avu: I am 110% sure. This is only correct. Just go tell her your feelings. Mujhe bhi zabardasti ke relationship mein nhi rehna tere saath. And you have got your girl to kiska wait hai? I am allowing you myself

Abhi nodded.

Abhi: Alright

Avu: Do it soon ok? Filhaal mujhe class ke lie late ho raha hai to I should go. Bye

She turned away.

Abhi: Avni

Avu: Hmm

He hugged her again.

Abhi: Thank you

Avu: Hatt pagal

She said hitting on his head and smiling. She ran to her class.

After sometime, Vaish had a free class. She was sitting in lawn trying to get fresh. But her mind was again and again going back to all that. Suddenly she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up.

Vaish: Abhi

Abhi: Mujhe tumse kuch important baat karni hai hai

Vaish: Hnn bolo

He sat in front of her and held her hands in his and looked into her eyes. Vaish was confused.

Vaish: Abhi

Abhi: Shh. Let me say please. Vaishi I want to tell you something. Something I don't wanna hold back in my heart anymore. Shayad ab nhi boloonga to bohot der ho jaegi. Vaishu I love you. I really do. Not as a friend. But much more than that

Vaish: Abhi are you alright? You are engaged. Please. What about Avu? She loves you a lot and I thought even you do

Abhi: Vaishu please give me one chance. Let me speak once. Uske baad you can. Please mujhe ek mauka do meri baat complete karne ka. Yes I love Avu. More than anything or anyone. She means world to me. I can't imagine my life without her. Even she loves me a lot

Vaish: To mujhe kyu propose kar rahe ho?

She said trying to take her hands back from him but he tightened his grip.

Abhi: Yes I love her. But not the way I love you. I love her as a best friend. But you as I would love a girl in my life. She means a lot to me and even you do. You can't get her place in my life or heart and neither can she get that place which you have got. We never loved each other as a couple. We have been together since birth. We have been best of friends since birth. But we never even had a crush on each other. We never had any kind of attraction towards each other. A girl and boy can be just best friends. Zaroori nhi ki hamesha couple ya siblings hi ho. And that we were, are and will always be

Vaish: But you two are engaged Abhi

Abhi: Yes we are. But that engagement never meant anything to us. We got engaged because it was our parents last wish to see each other together forever. But we could never live in that marital relationship. Jo hamare beech hai na Vaishu wo bohot special hai. Mein explain to nhi kar sakta usse. But ye marriage se hamara relationship kharab ho jaega. We won't be even comfortable as friends. And my parents wanted us together always and no matter what I will always need her beside me but not as a wife or fiancée o

Vaish: I don't know Abhi. This is still cheating

Abhi: You love me or not?

Vaish: Abhi but...

Abhi: (cuts her) Yes or no?

Vaish: I do but...

Abhi: (cuts her) Ye sab mujhe Avu ne hi samjhaya hai. She also wants us together. She herself freed me from our relationship

Vaish: What?

She asked with widened eyes.

Abhi: Ya she only came to me and explained me ki parent's ki wish se zyada hamari happiness zaroori hai

Vaish felt even more guilty and embarrassed.

Abhi: Will you be my girlfriend?

Vaish didn't know what to say.

Abhi: You love me right?

She nodded with tears rolling down her cheeks.

Abhi: Even I do. Can we give each other a chance?

Vaish nodded slowly and Abhi pulled her in a hug. She hugged him back tightly. They sat together for sometime in a comfortable silence.

Vaish: Are we gonna tell about this to our group?

Abhi: I think we should. We shouldn't hide such a big thing from them

Vaish nodded. After sometime, they went for their classes.

In evening

Avu was sitting on bed scrolling her phone. Vaish came there and sat on knees in front of her and joined her hands.

Avu: Vaishu what...

Vaish: (cuts her) I am sorry Avni. I am really sorry for that slap and whatever shit I said. I can't even imagine saying all thay. I am sorry. I was being a jerk and you selflessly broke your engagement and asked Abhi to be with me. I know I don't deserve it but I am sorry

She said breaking down into tears. Avu sat down beside her and pulled her in hug and caressed her hair.

Avu: I was never angry from you. I can understand what you were feeling. It's okk Vaishi

Vaish: No it's not okk. I shouldn't have behaved like that

Avu: Achha okk. I forgave you meri jaan

Vaish: I won't ever do it again

Avu: I know

She said wiping her tears and kissing her forhead and hugged her again.

Vaish: I love you

Avu: Keep that for my best friend

Vaish: Shut up

Avu: I want details

Vaish told her whatever they talked about. Avu was really happy for both of them.
