China:

Agnes laughed as she pressed the buttons on Takumi's iPhone.

"Hey isn't that my brother's pho--," Akane began.

"Yep"

"What are you doing with it?," Jason asked.

"I'm changing his contact names," she grinned. "Kept mine as Batman. Kept Akane's as Superman. And Jason's as Spiderman"

Akane laughed. "And the others?"

"Well, Percy Jackson, Sherlock, Watson, Hulk..."

The Great Wall Of China:

The Great wall of China was a series of fortifications made of stone, brick, tamped earth, wood and other materials, generally built along an east to west line across the northern borders of China to protect the Chinese states and empires against raids and invasions of the various nomadic groups of the Eurasian Steppe.

"Not again!," Takumi said, frustrated. "Whose 'James Bond' now?"

Agnes chuckled as Akane and Jason looked at him with amusement.

"Seems like you are getting calls from all celebrities," Akane teased.

"Or," Takumi sighed. "Someone hates me enough to change all my contact names. I received a call from 'littlehearts' today and after 20 minutes of a heated conversation, I realised it was Fidel"

"Oops," Agnes whispered to Jason. "I thought he would understand"

Jason laughed, shaking his head.

The four of them sat in the cable cars which led them to the Mutiyanu section of the Great wall, which offered eye striking views. It was the most beautiful part of the Great wall, was a superb example of fortifications uniquely designed with watchtowers and fortresses densely spaced along it's length and crenellations on both sides.

"It's so pretty here," Akane smiled.

"I know right," Takumi replied.

Takumi's phone began ringing. Batman.

"Hello?," he said, receiving it. "Please may I know who this is?"

Jason and Akane looked around. Agnes was no where to be seen.

"This is batman," Agnes replied in a low, croaky voice.

"What? So you're the prankster? I shall not forgive--"

"No, this is no prank," she tried not to laugh. "We need to save the world. It is in grave danger. In 72 hours the world--"

"What on earth are you talking about and who are you?"

"This is no joke-"

But by then, Takumi has disconnected the phone.

"I'll go insane," Takumi sighed.

"You already are," Agnes laughed. He shot her a look.

"You'll know what I'm talking about if someone changes your contact names to the marvel characters!"

The four of them were now at the Jiankou section of the Great wall, built along a mountain ridge with particularly steep cliffs on each side which made it one of the most dangerous sections of the Great wall. Rich in wilderness, it was a site for adventures.

"It's so difficult to climb this," Akane complained.

"Yes," the other three agreed instantly.

They were climbing the 'sky stairs' which went practically up and were so narrow that it was impossible to obtain a foothold. As a consequence, they slipped and had a nasty fall.

"Ouch," they screamed.

"Are you all right?," Jason asked as he held out both his hands for his friends.

They smiled and pulled them to sit down. "We are fine, but look at this"

And so, the four of them sat down there and looked at their surroundings- the trees and the light blue sky with a smile. Because sometimes it was nice to just simply stare at mother nature.

"I'm too tired to view the Terracotta army," Agnes said, dropping herself to bed.

"But--"

"Let's play the truth game then," Takumi grinned.

Agnes sat up. "What's the truth game?"

"Well you see, you need to tell one truth about yourself. A truth which no one knows"

"Sounds interesting. I'm in," Agnes said. "Actually, all four of us"

Akane, Takumi, Jason and Agnes sat in a circle with a cup of coffee in their hand.

"Begin with Takumi," Akane said.

"Okay," Takumi said. "The truth about me is.."

Agnes looked at him intently. "Is?"

"Is that I always cry when I see titanic"

The three of them looked at one another. Silence prevailed. Then, they burst out laughing.

"Oh god, what is there to cry?"

"It's too emotional," Takumi defended.

Agnes chuckled. "You're too much!"

"Okay so," Akane said. "The truth about me is...that.."

"Say it already"

"That I still believe in fairytales"

Agnes smiled. "Why, that's so sweet. Most girls do"

"You don't," Jason said.

"I know because happily ever afters don't exist"

"They do, Agnes," Akane replied. "It's just different for different people"

"Yeah, like eating bananas all day," she joked, looking at Takumi.

"Very funny"

"Your turn," said Akane to Agnes.

"The truth about me is..," Agnes began. "That I am the prankster, Takumi"

Takumi's jaw dropped. "You are batman?"

"Aha"

"And I am superman," Akane grinned.

"Spiderman," Jason whispered. The three of them burst out laughing.

"I'm never going to forgive you for this. Before I give you your punishment, Jason, what's your truth?," Takumi replied.

"Well," he smiled. "My truth is that I cannot stop staring at Agnes when she smiles"

That night Jason received a call on his phone. Batman.

He grinned. "Hello?"

"Like the waves which seek rest on the shore,

You are my destination- a place I've always wanted to go.

Free from the world's bondages and chains.

You are like an oasis for me,

In my vast desert, a place I'd prefer to be.

The reason I haven't yet known,

Jason smiled as Agnes' mellifluous voice said those beautiful poetic words.

She came in from the door behind and embraced him.

"That was beautiful, Agnes"

"Why, thank you"

He looked at her eyes. They seemed to twinkle and shine like stars in the sky.

"You have no idea how badly I've fallen for you, Cherry"

She laughed. "On the contrary, I've flown"

Jason handed her a black rose.

"Why black?"

"Because Agnes, this is my world. In my dark world, you are those million stars without which I would lose all my beauty. You are the twinkle, Agnes. You alone"

And that day Agnes couldn't stop smiling. She had realized that if not anything else, she had found her light house when her ship was lost in a vast sea.
