17. My prince, Mr. Lecturer

Ireland, Dublin.
"Come to my place after this! Please!," Agnes requested. Being in Dublin, Agnes wanted them to visit her house, sit and chat. But so did Jason.
"We could go to my place too, you know," he said.
"Yeah, but ladies' first," she replied. He sighed.
"Okay you both. We'll go," Akane and Takumi said in unison.
"And I'll drive you to my place!," Agnes smiled.
They nodded and walked towards the Guinness Storehouse. The Guinness Storehouse was a place in Dublin which stored Guinness, made Guinness and did everything that revolved around Guinness. They looked at the seven storeyed pint as they entered it.
"Wait a minute," Akane said. "Guinness is..."
Agnes nodded. "Yeah"
"Beer," Jason completed.
"Haven't you both been here already?," Takumi asked. Jason and Agnes shook his head.
"We never got the time. Vacations were always spent in international places," they said in unison.
"We can understand," Akane and Takumi nodded. Affluent people and their insane problems.
Akane and Takumi simply loved the place. It was a huge pint with seven floors-each showing something or the other. The Storehouse covered seven floors surrounding a glass atrium shaped in the form of a pint of Guinness. The first floor introduced beer's four ingredients, that is, barley, yeast, hops and water and the brewer's founder, Arthur Guinness. The other floors showed the history of Guinness.
The guide led them to the second floor. Escalators looked as if they were over lapping each other as they led to different floors. The second floor contained The Tasting Room. They walked through a dark passage with faint orange light glowing from the sides of the walls. When they entered the room, where a white round table situated right at the middle of the room welcomed them. It had buttons.
Agnes pressed the 'malt' button. White smoke arose from the table. They were surprised. The guide smiled at them and gestured them to smell it. It smelt of malt. Then, realization struck them. The tasting room was a multi-sensory room where you could not only taste the Guinness but also, smell it.
Then, they walked towards the bar. A man poured them a small glass of Guinness beer. Akane and Takumi took a sip of it.
"Mhm. I like it," Akane whispered.
"I know right, sis"
Jason took a tiny sip and nodded. Then, he kept the glass on the table. He would never even think of drinking that. Agnes, who despite knowing the consequences of her drinking beer, gulped the entire glass down her throat. Jason looked at her with surprise.
Takumi laughed. "Well, it was tiny glass anyway"
She grinned at Takumi and then at Jason like a two year old. Jason let out a small pleasant laugh at her eccentricities.
They roamed about the pint absorbing all the information they received about Guinness. After visiting all the floors, they finally sat down on the chair at the seventh floor. It was a beautiful floor , surrounded by glass giving a 360 view of the city Dublin. It was indeed magnificent.
"Jasoonnnnn,", Agnes sang.
"Yes?," he asked.
She smiled and shuffled his hair, keeping her chin on her hand. "Your hair soooo softtt," then she pointed at his eyes. "And your eyes? My god.. They leave me hypnotized"
"What's wrong with you, Agnes?," he asked, worried.
"Oooohh. Nothing. Hey, your nose is soo..."
Takumi and Akane giggled, trying their best not to break into fits of laughter.
"Agnes, you can't take even a small amount of alcohol can you?," Jason said, sighing.
"Who me? Oh no! I can have bottles and bottles and bottles..."
"She's drunk. We need to get her to the bus, guys," Jason said, standing up. Takumi and Akane laughed loudly. They couldn't manage to keep it together at all.
"Come on, Agnes. Let's go," Jason said, taking her by her hand.
"Where? Oh my, where are you taking me?"
"Just walk, Agnes. Don't speak"
She giggled as she held his shoulder to walk. She kept falling down and the three of them had to help her to walk.
"He's your prince, isn't he, Agnes?," Akane smirked, taking full advantage of the insane situation they had landed up in.
"Yes.... My prince, Mr. Lecturer," Agnes smiled.
"Akane!," Jason remarked, shaking his head. He laid her on the seat of the bus. "Now sleep," he whispered.
"God, this girl is crazy," Takumi laughed as she closed her eyes to sleep, allowing her double layered eyelashes to gently fall on her cheeks.
Jason smiled at her. He knew her motto: Life is full of insanity. But now, he got used to that. She was now his habit, handling those lunatic moments she invented, her constant talking, her emotions, her energy. Without her, his trip would have been boring, uninteresting. Without her, he would be incomplete.

"Seriously Agnes. I don't think you should drive. I'll do it," Jason requested.
"Sssh. I can drive and I will," she said. It was evening now and according to her, she had recovered. No hangovers.
"I think you're always drunk you know," Takumi teased. She shot laser eye beams at him. "Shut up"
She was insisting on driving the three of them to her place. "I'm fine guys! I'm not drunk now! What's wrong with you?"
"But you were drunk and you were sticking to your boyfriend," Akane said.
She looked at Jason. "I'm so sorry"
He ran his hand through his thick brown hair. "It's alright, don't worry"
"And he's not my boyfriend," she said to Akane.
"Oh no no. He's not yet. But he will be ,soon"
She sighed and started the car. Jason was sitting on the passenger seat with Akane and Takumi behind them . She started her Beetle.
It went in full speed forward but she jerked it.
"AGNES! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?," the three of them screamed.
"Sorry sorry," she said, starting it again, slowly this time.
"Okay, Agnes. Where is your driving license?," Jason enquired.
"I don't have it"
"Then is it at your place?"
"Nope"
"What does that mean?"
"Nope means 'No' , 'Nah' , 'No'"
Jason sighed. "Where is it , Agnes?"
"I don't have a license," she deadpanned.
"What? You don't have a driving license at all?," Akane asked, shocked.
"Nope. I tried for one, but failed three times," she replied.
And in a matter of five minutes, they knew exactly why. She drove like a maniac! Firstly, she was driving at an immense speed. Secondly, the car wasn't going straight. She zoomed around the road- left right , left right.
"AGNES! A CAR IS COMING! THIS IS ONE WAY!," Jason shouted.
But it was too late. The car banged into theirs. They weren't hurt.
"Darn it!," she shouted, backing the car. "Is anyone hurt?"
No one is hurt. But all of us are definitely frightened to death. Police sirens immediately beeped. Oh fish.
"Stop right there," a man spoke. Agnes froze.
"May I get your license, miss?," the officer asked.
"I..I.. don't have it now.."
He bent down to see the people in the car, and then sighed.
"The four of you are under arrest," he stated firmly.
