Samael went inside of the Laboratory, as he looked around the area that he is in, and needless to say, he sees the inside is a mess. It is as though this place has became a haunted house of some kind, and he does not know how long this has been abandoned for. He than looks around, and he spots something.

"Mew Mew Kissy Cutie? What kind of monster watches anime inside of a laboratory?"

Samael said, as Chara spoke out.

"Alphys. She is a such an anime nerd, even showed it to Undyne, even saying that anime is human history, despite how untrue that is."

Samael looked a little weirded out by a fact such as this, but he does not continue it, as he spoke out.

"Ehh, might as well bring the tape with me anyway. Don't ask why. Just feel like I should bring it in order to take some 'me' time."

Chara looked at him like he is insane, but Samael does not care, as he takes it anyway. He has no idea what use he will get, and in fact, he does not know why he needs to take it. But he does, and it is as though he feels an urge, not by his own mind, but by someone making that choice for him.

Samael than began to look around the area that he is in right now, and he goes up stairs, and he sees more anime stuff, and a conveyer belt. He goes on it, to see where it takes him, and all it does...is take him to the other side of the above part of the thing that he is on right now. Needless to say, he is not amused, as he spoke out.

"Okay, I clearly wasted time. This is outright stupid of me."

Samael than heard Chara speak out to him in moth form.

"And you did it by your own volition. First you take an anime tape, and now you go on this? You really have a very strange mind."

Samael than spoke out.

"At least I don't kill because I think of it as freedom for the monsters themselves."

Chara had no response for that, but she really wished that Samael would let her take over and let her do her thing. Samael shook his head, as he than looks and sees an elevator. Samael sighed, as he spoke out.

"So...ready to go in?"

Samael looks at Chara, as she than spoke out.

"Yeah, I think we are."

Samael nodded, as he than opens the door with a button, and the doors opened. He than goes inside of the elevator, before he than closed it. He than pressed the button downwards, as the elevator than closed the door, as he felt himself going down. Samael sighed, as he felt very unhappy with this, due to how he does not like how he is going down inside of a laboratory on the lower level. Samael sighed, as he than looked around the area that he is in, and needless to say, he feels uneasy, as he has no idea what is down there. But he needs to be ready to know what it is. But than...an alarm was heard.

The sound of an alarm came, as Samael felt the ground shake, and he than felt the elevator going down fast, as Samael spoke out.

"What, what is happening?!"

Chara than spoke out.

"The elevator is malfunctioning again! It is going to crash!!!"

Samael was horrified, as he than goes down onto the ground and lay down there, and hopes that it will reduce the pain that he will feel when the elevator crashes down. He puts his hands on top of his head, and braces for impact.

The loud crash was heard, as Samael felt his nose hit onto the floor of the Elevator. He felt the pain immensely badly, as he felt himself about to go unconscious. But taking the time to use whenever willpower that he has, he stands back up, and he felt his nose begin to bleed, as he than spoke out.

"Well this is gonna leave a mark."

He said, as he eyes squint a little bit in pain, as Chara spoke out.

"Quick, eat a Crabapple, it will heal your wounds. It is magical, like everything else in the underground."

Samael was a bit skeptical, but he does that, and he ate a Crabapple entirely, before he finished eating it. He felt his nose stop bleeding, and unbeknownst to him, due to not paying attention to it, his nose has snapped back into place and repaired, as his nose was broken. Even he has no idea why he did not feel it. He than went out of the Elevator, as he looked up and spoke out.

"Well, that's busted."

Chara than looked and went to see the cable, as Chara spoke out.

"It's been upgraded. It's repairing itself, but it will take a little while before it can be used again. In the meantime, we need to look for some stuff that can be of use for the journey we're taking."

Samael nodded, as he than looked around the place, and needless to say, he felt his uneasiness grow even worse than ever before.

Unlike the True Lab, that had a somewhat innocent appearance, this one is much more scarier. The lights are flickering, the hallways are dark, and there are a lot of cracks and scratch marks, as well as some blood that had been dried and stained up to various walls, as Samael spoke out.

"Man, this lab is a very huge mess."

Samael than looked around, and saw a SAVE Point. He looks at Chara, who than looks at Samael, and Chara spoke out.

"Best you use it. Don't want you to die and be sent back outside to Hotlands."

Samael nodded his head, as he than goes to the Save Point, as Chara spoke out.

"The desire to find aid inside of the True Lab...it fills you with DETERMINATION."

He activated the Save Point, and the eye grew, as Chara spoke out.

"Hopefully the Fiend does not count this area as a part of Hotlands.

Samael looks at Chara and spoke out.

"Even though it technically is, since the lab is inside of Hotlands itself."

He than began to look around, and he felt even more dread than ever, because he feels as if there is something there. He sighed, but he then remember something. Back at the surface, he had manage to steal an iPhone for him to use. He smacked his head, as he spoke out.

"Okay, I am being stupid. I should not have used my magic as a light source all the time."

He than take off his backpack, and he began to fish his hands into the backpack, as he than began to find it, with Chara looking down in confusion, as she does not know what it is that Samsel's doing. After a minute of searching, he took out his iPhone, and he turned it on, used his password, and he than turned on the Flashlight at full power, as he pointed around the area that he is in, as he spoke out.

"Okay. Here we are. Using the flashlight should be a breeze in this."

Samael took a deep breath, as he than spoke out.

"Here I go."

He than began to look around and walk around inside of the area that he is in. He just hopes that he is ready to take on what is about to happen, as Chara flies next to him, as she looked around.

Samael began to look around the area that he is in, as he wanders from place to place, unsure of what to find. He looks around, as he tries to make sure that he is not spot by any monsters, before he than noticed that there is a bathroom with 3 sinks. Samael sighed, as he looks down at his hands, as he spoke out.

"It feels filthy. I need to clean it up."

Samael than began to turn on one of the sinks that he is near to, the water is dirty. The second is the same as the first. But the third is different from the other ones. Instead of water coming out, white liquid began to appear. This made Samael nervous, as he than tries to shut off the faucet, only for the faucet to refuse shutting off, and this is really making him scared. Samael stepped back, as the white mass then began to form, and Samael goes to the door and hides behind it in order to see what is up, and he saw that the entire forming, was very frighting for him, and there is simply no words to describe how horrifying it is to him in his eyes, due to the appearance and shape that it turned into.

And Samael...was horrified, and it is not just one, 2 others appeared from the sink, and they see Samael. He steps back, and he than began to run. But they are not going to let him get away this easily. When Samael entered a large room, all 3 of them appeared around Samael, as Samael has his flashlight on, and then, a voice suddenly spoke out for the phone.

"YOU ARE MEAT TO US!!"

This made Samael horrified, as it is speaking in a corrupted male voice, and a normal female voice, and it is one that Chara recognized.

"What...that female voice...that is Alphys' voice. But how are the Memoryheads doing that?"

Samael spoke out.

"You know of these things?"

Samael waits for Chara's answer, as white dots than former between Sameel, and not wanting to know what will happen next, he jumped into the air, as white scary smiling faces exploded. He went into the metal bar, and he was stunned at that, as he did not expect for himself to do that, as Chara than spoke out to Samael.

"First thing's first, get out of the area as fast as possible."

Samael nodded, as he jumped and leapt away from them while on the metal bars, as the Amalgamates can't see him up above for reason that he doesn't understand. After he ran, he than landed onto the ground, as he is safe from them, but he has no idea what in the world happened. Samael sighed, as he smacked himself into the head, as he spoke out.

"What the...what the fuck are those things?"

Samael said, as he hugged himself, before he than went to the other direction, where it leads to a door. Samael was a little bit afraid to press the door, but he decides that he needs to find out where Alphys is, so that he can finally know the way to stop the Hunger. And hopefully, she is still alive somewhere inside this place.

As he entered the door, he than saw that it is a place with what appears to be beds all over the place, almost like a hospital. And inside of this place...is a group of white butterflies. Samael looks at Chara and spoke out.

"Don't you dare try and eat them, Chara."

Chara looks at Samael and grumbled a little bit, as she stays back, as Samael goes to the Butterflies, before he than reaches out and touches them. As soon as he did, another flash of bright light appeared, as Samael began to go down the memory lane once again, in order to see what is up. But when he did take the Butterflies...for some reason, he could not see the memories of what lead to this point.

"Huh? That's new."

Even Chara was surprised, as she than spoke out.

"Was there not enough butterflies for you to see the memories?"

Samael shook his head.

"No. There is. No, I think it is something else at play."

Samael than looked around, as he spoke out.

"And the only way to know...is to keep on looking."

Samael than looked into another doorway, as he than steps to it. Samael began to look around, as he tries to see where he needs to be in. He is now in a hallway, as he points his flashlight at the direction that he is in. He looks around, and sees that this place is a mess. It is filled with syringes, scalpels, saws, and all other stuff. He looked down confused, as he has no idea why they are scattered. One of them has a strange red liquid. Samael, confused at this, picks it up, and looks down at it. And sees that this syringe is intact without any cracks whatsoever. Must have been cushioned by the other appliances that are all over the ground.

He than takes it with him, as he than began to walk around the place. He does not know why, but he feels like it is very important to do it, to bring it with him. He just hopes that it is the right choice to do it. He began to walk to the right side, to the corridor, as he than tries to see if there is anyone there. He passes a bunch of screens on the ceiling, most likely entry logs, but he does not dare look at them, due to the fact that they have been corrupted. Samael than went into a room, but it is very foggy, and when he looked at the other side of the room, he saw that there is a switch there, as well as white butterflies into the air, flying around gathered around each other, with Samael speaking out.

"There you are."

Samael walks up to the flies, and he holds his hand up, as the Butterflies came to him and he absorbed them into himself. He smiled, as Chara than spoke out.

"Samael. You see the switch next to you? Once you turn it on, run away as fast as you can!"

Samael looks at Chara, and he does not know why, but considering that she sounds serious, he decides to do it. He turns on the switch, and he began to run back to the entrance, ad the fog cleared away from the fans, and the white particles on the air gathered...until it made another Amalgamate, this one horrified him.

Samael stepped back, as horror filled his face, at the sight of this abomination before his eyes. It resembles a dog, but in a more disgusting and vomit-inducing way, as Samael spoke out.

"Oh, now I see why you told me to run to the other side."

Chara than spoke out.

"This is Endogeny. And get out of this place and run from it."

The dog noticed Samael and snarled, as Samael closed the door and ran. But then, black wound began to melt the door, as Endogeny came out from the other side, using the liquid inside of the hole on its face in order to escape. The dog gave chase, as Samael ran as fast as he can in order to try and run away from it. But the dog was relentless now that it has picked up Samael's scent, as it does all that it can to try and run from him. Samael tried to run from one direction without being seen, but the dog always chases him in that same direction, as Samael nearly got his head bitten off by one of the black liquid dogs, as Samael spoke out.

"This is getting ridiculous?! Why won't it leave me be?!"

Samael than looked at the screens, and notice a slot, fit for a television tape. This gave him an idea. He than looks and sees that Endogeny is coming, and so, without anymore hesitation, he plays the Mew Mew Kissy Cutie on the screen, and as soon as it is on, Endogeny stopped, and began to look at it, as he sat onto the ground, watching the anime play, while Samael decides to give it a bag of chips as a treat. The dog eats the entire bag, as Samael leaves undetected.

Samael gasped for breath, as he felt very tired at what had just happened. He goes to the other side of the hallway that he has just entered, in order to try and find Alphys. And that is, if she is still alive. And Chara looks at the entity in an odd way, due to the fact that it is watching anime, even though it has no interest in doing that. So why is it watching anime all of a sudden?

As Samael kept on going, he then went inside of a new room, as he struggled to catch his breath, and he held onto his heart, due to how exhausted that he is. He than looks at the room, and he is even more uneasy than ever before.

There is a very large hole inside of the room, and suspended above the hole by large cables is a machine, resembling a head of some sort of monster. But what? As Sameel looked around, he sees another door next to it, as he than goes to the door. Inside, he sees some another door, and he goes to it, by opening it up, and he than looks to see that there is various equipment. He looks at one of them, and saw that it appears to be some kind of repairing device. Chara looks at it, as she than spoke out.

"Best take it with you."

Samael nodded, as he than puts the tool inside of his backpack. After all, Chara seems to know what she is doing. Samael also picked up some other tools, such as a mechanical buzzsaw use to cut bone, it almost looks like a pizza cutter, and night vision goggles, which is surprising. He picks it up, and he began to wear it, and turns off his phone, but the phone won't turn off, as the voices speak out.

"YOU CANNOT RUN FROM YOUR DEATH!!! YOU ARE MEAT TO US!!"

Samael narrowed his eyes, as he snarled a little bit in disgust and fear, as he than continues onwards. But as he did, he then looks to see a rolling mass of white blue liquid, as a voice spoke out.

"Sn...ow...y."

This made Samael confused, but he walked away and looks at the entity, and he sees glasses and a lab coat come out, the same one that Alphys wore, as he spoke out.

"I hope that's simply clothing and not actually the lizard."

But Chara has a solid idea on what might have happened to Alphys. After all, the signs are there, but Samael does not seem to notice. Samael continued to look around, and he than saw another gathering of white butterflies, as he than took them and absorbed them into himself. Of course, he knows that this will show Aliza his location, and he does not feel surprised if they know he is inside of the laboratory, but he needs to keep moving.

As he than looked around, he than spots a hallway with mirrors, and there is a swarm of Butterflies there. Samael, surprised to find them, goes to it, and absorbed them. This is the 4th one, as Samael spoke out.

"Huh. That was too easy. Not to..."

Samael felt something behind him, as he sees a shadow overcoming his body, in which he than spoke out to himself.

"Wait a second."

Samael said, as he than ran away fast, as jaws were inches from the back of his neck. He turns around, and he is revolted and horrified at what he is seeing before his eyes. It is a terror of broken limbs and fractured fangs, in what seems to be a bird with a single floating eye, with gnashing jaws as its iris. Samael was so horrified, as he shouted out in fear.

"HOLY SHIT!!!!!!"

As he said that, Chara than spoke out to Samael.

"Reaper Bird. Samael, be careful with this one!!!"

As she said that, swarms of butterflies than appeared out of nowhere and tried to hit Samael, only for Samael to launch fireballs at the butterflies, intercepting it. Samael looks, as the Reaper Bird began to say something.

"I'm sorry. Save me. Undyne."

And the voice...was in Alphys' voice, and it is making Samael scared, as Samael swung his chain, only for the teeth to grab onto the chain, and tries to pull Samael towards it. This made Samael horrified, as he than launched fireballs at Reaper Bird, but the Reaper Bird does not seem to feel it. Thankfully, Samael got his chain out of here, and ran away from the monstrosity as fast as he can. He ran and ran until he is able to lose it, or at least, he hopes he had lost it. But as he went back into the room with that weird machine the shape of a head...he than spots something. It is an entity...in shadows, and the hands...it had holes in them, the same entity that he had seen back in Waterfalls. He than points to the other direction, in which he made some hand gestures. Samael does not know why, but then, The Devil came up from behind Samael, as he is able to see the entity clearly, as the Devil spoke out.

"What are you waiting for, Samael?! Keep moving!!!"

Samael nodded his head after getting out of his shock, as he than walked to the other part of the room that he has no yet visited. He goes to the room...and he sees that there is a room with files on it. But these ones are inside of the folder. He looks down at the folder, as he than picks it up, as he looks at the cover.

"Project: SOUL."

Samael spoke out loud, as he has no idea what it is. But than, he looks around, and he feels another swarm of butterflies near his location. He than goes to it, as he than looks to see where they are. Samael, hoping that this the last one. Samael goes to it, and absorbs them into himself, as he felt them feeling completed. Samael than feels like she needs to go to the room with the bedrooms again. So...he goes there. And when he did, Samael spoke out.

"What in the..."

Samael looked, and sees the 5 swarms of Butterflies all over the place, before they then merged together, as a memory began to play. As Samael looked...a voice spoke out.

"It's not working!!! It's not working!!!!"

Samael looked, and he sees that Alphys is here, inside of the hospital room, as Alphys looked around with liquid inside of vials.

"Nothing is working!! I can't fix this!!! I failed everyone!!!!"

She threw the stuff in her hands at a wall, as she began to cry, and wailed out.

"AND IT IS ALL BECAUSE OF ME!!!"

This made Samael confused, until she spoke out.

"That experiment on DT...the one that made that flower monster, the one that had took the 7 human souls and absorbed them, it is all because of me that he is able to cause all of this, that all of Monsterkind had lost their senses!!"

This made Samael stunned, as Alphys spoke out.

"I can't fix this...I should just die. I had caused this to happen because of my experiment on Determination. So...it is fitting that I get to end my life, by the hands of the ones that had to caused suffering for."

Her voice is of despair and grief and regret, as she than turns on the buttons. And than, when that happened, all of the Amalgamates came, as Alphys spoke out.

"Come to me. I don't want to live anymore. It is better to die anyways, and best...to not be forgiven, for what I had created."

The amalgamated than pounced ok he, as Undyne came from the Elevator, as she screeched out.

"Alphys ar-ALPHYS, NO!!!!!!"

Undyne rushed in and tried to save her, she grabbed onto a piece of Alphys' lab coat, but it had been torn, and Undyne, seeing that there is nothing that she can do, her eyes welled with the black tears of the Hunger and the normal clear tears of her sadness and grief, fled, as she ran with the lab coat of her lover. And the memory ended. When it is over...Samael is shocked, as he spoke out.

"She's dead...consumed by them..."

Chara was silent, as she than looked around and spoke out.

"Samael...have you tried the door with the 4 colored dots yet?"

Samael looked at Chara and spoke out.

"No, not yet. Why?"

Chara than flies towards it, as Samael than followed Chara, and than, they reached the door, as they saw that the door is activated and is not opened yet. Samael sighed, as he than touched the door, and it opened, as Samael went to the other side, and he saw something. At the other side of the room...held a capsule. And inside of it...is a soul...but totally unlike any other soul that he has seen. It is an upside down soul, like a monster's, but it is of a different color. It is a magenta soul, as this is confusing Samael, but then...he remember the files involving something called Project: SOUL. So he began to read it.

"Entry [REDACTED]: I have been conducting experiments on the 6 human souls ever since Frisk came down here. I have studied the properties of a live human soul through frisk herself, and I wanted to see if I can create a soul of my own, but with the different traits and properties of the other 6 souls. In my experiment, I had been able to make a soul that is of an artificial way, using 1/7th of water trait, and a vessel of a monster, and...it worked...a little too well. The experiment, whine successful, made me concerned as to how powerful it is, as I combined the properties of the 7 human souls, along with the souls of some of the more stronger monsters, in order to create this, and in doing so, made an unknown trait that I have never seen before. I need to be careful with it. There is no telling what will happen if a monster or human accidentally absorbs it."

Samael looks down at the soul, before he than decides to grab onto it and take it, as he held it in his hands, before he than spoke out.

"Chara, what do you think? Want me to take it?"

Chara looked at the soul, and she spoke out.

"I think it is a good idea. After all, we might need it just in case we absolutely have to."

Samael nodded, as he puts it inside of his bag, which is large enough to fit it, but when he did...

CRASH!!!!

Samael felt the wall being struck by an unknown force, and Samael turned around to see that it is another horrifying Amalgamate

Samael was now even more horrified at what he is seeing before his eyes, as orange spots flower and the right arm appears to be fused with metal rebar all over the place, as Chara spoke out.

"Lemon Head..."

The entity looks at Samael, and spoke out.

"I NEED TO FEED!!!"

In 7 voices at the same time, as it rushed st Samael and Samael got out of the way, as the right arm smashed into the machinery, and caused some problems with the electricity, as Samael swung his chain and struck Lemon Head, as she than swung her right arm at Samael, and this time, he did get hit, as he is sent flying out of the wall, while also getting shocked, and into the hospital bed room, as Lemon Head, as her head turned into Alphys' head, making Samael even more freaked out and run, and he ends up going into the place where Endogeny is at. As that happened, Lemon Head struck the Television, making Endogeny look at Lemon Head, before howling and charging at her, as Samael went out of the way, and 2 Amalgamates fight.

Samael, taking this chance, ran away as fast as he can and went back into the room, the beds are now all over the place, as he is than spotter by the Memoryheads, which have no fused together, and are now more larger than before. They tried to attack Samael and eat him, but Samael than noticed another monster that he has never seen before. It resembles a large stickman, and it is holding the large monster back, as Samael takes the chance to run to the elevator, and presses the button, before he is sent back up again. Samael sighed, as he landed onto the floor of the elevator, he held his head, as he than spoke out.

"Today is certainly not my day."

He than exited the elevator, and went out of the laboratory, before he pulls out the magenta artificial soul, which he looked at, as he than spoke out.

"Now...what to do with you?"
