Samael kept moving, as he went past a bunch of stuff, as well as different other routes, as those will misdirect him. He was very frustrated. Yes, he enable to get past that monsters that had drowned him, and now knows that he can come back to life, but he is still extremely frustrated, due to the fact that Sans and Aliza are now here. He is very horrified, due to the fact that they both had to show up, in the Waterfalls.

"This is not good. They'll be turning me into tonight's dinner special if they were to ever catch up to me. I need to get out of this area as fast as I can, so that I can go up to the next area, and hopefully, they do not follow me in there."

Samael said, as he walks as much as he can, in order to get away from Sans and Aliza as much as he can, because the very last thing he needs is too he consume by Sans, the skeleton that had tried to kill him, and Aliza, his own friend that he had from childhood.

Samael looks down, and he looked to the side...and saw a waterfall, pouring down into the lake that is below him. He looked down, and went onto his knees, as he see how far down it goes. But Samael than stood up, and he walked away, as he knows that he will be having Aliza and Sans find him if he stalls like that. But as he walked away...a memory flickered into his mind.

Flashback...6 years ago.

"Hehehehe, come in, Samael, don't run!!"

A female voice spoke out, as another voice, this one a male, spoke back.

"Come and catch me if you can, Aliza!"

Those 2 are none other than Aliza and Samael, both of whom are at the age of 9. They are running as they are playing tag, with Samael being able to tag her. Now he is running in order to not get tagged, but a Aliza is catching up to him, and, eventually leapt and wrapped her arms around Samael.

"You're it!"

"Woah!!"

Samael shouted, as he lost his balance, and the 2 children fell into a river.

The water rose up from the lake, before falling back down, and splashing onto both Aliza and Samael. Both kids looked down, as they saw that they are in the water. They than looked at each other, as Samael spoke out.

"That's one big splash!"

Aliza than giggled; as she spoke out.

"Yeah, it really is!"

"Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!"

Both Aliza and Samael laughed together, as Ruby than perched onto Aliza's head. Clearly, this is a very happy moment for Samael, because since Aliza's grandmother is not here, they felt free, and they both felt happy. It is like the world cannot hold them down forever.

Flashback ended...

Samael sighed, as a tear fell out of his face. He looked down, and a locker was shown in his coat. He opens it, and it shows a picture of both Aliza and Samael, both happy in the picture. Samael was sad, as he than spoke out, quietly.

"How did it come to this? Aliza...you shouldn't have eaten the food and played along. That way...we could have done this together. And I...I would've have to run from you."

Samael shook his head, as he than rubbed the rest away. He than looks forward, and continues to walk away, as he than felt a presence from behind him.

"Huh?"

Samael said, as he turns around. He looks...and sees multiple forms of movement coming from behind him. He squints his eyes, and he tries to see what it is. But he doesn't need to, because the things chasing the movement...appeared.

"HOLY SHIT!!!"

Samael shouted, as he than ran fast, with the Temmies chasing him. And there is a whole horde of them. Needless to say, Samael was not really prepares for this, as he never thought that the Temmie would attack in packs. He kept on running as fast as he can, as he than began to use his fire magic to knock as much back as he can.

Boom!!

BOOM!!!

BOOM!!!

Samael was able to knock back more than a dozen of those pesky Temmies, but it is still not working, as the Temmies are coming to him in such a large pack. This made Samael scared, as Samael kept on running away as fast as he can. But the Temmies refused to give away chase, and are very relentless in trying to stop him so that they can consume him. Samael looks behind him, feeling immense panic, before he than looks down at his basket, and he realizes, that he still has the meat with him. So...with some effort and time, he was able to open the area of where the tainted meat is inside of, and began to throw it at the ground, and as much as he can, though he tries not to waste it. He was able to bring about 3 pieces is meat onto the ground, and most of the Temmies became distracted by it, as many of them took the meat and fled back to where they came from. But some of them...are still relentless, and are continuing to chase him, much to Samael's ire.

"How much does it take for them to finally give up!!"

Samael shouted out, as he continues to run without any sort of stopping. But as he kept on running, Chara spoke out to Samael.

"Samael, jump now!!!"

Samael was so shocked at the tone of her voice, that he literally does jump in the air, as he landed down onto the ground, face first. The Temmies were smiling, as they thought that they got him...but unfortunately for them, something else had gotten them.

Like a bear trap ready to snap, a row of monsters, which were flattened onto the ground, immediately sprang to life, as it consumed all of the remaining Temmies into its mass, as Samael was shocked as he looked at it. But he does not have time to observe it. So instead, he stood up, and he began to run away as fast as he could. He kept on running and running, before he than stopped, as he went onto his knees, and held his head, clearly in distress.

"Oh my god! I thought that Undyne lady made me run, but this, these things, they made me run faster than I never thought that I would be able to run. It is like there is no tomorrow for me."

Chara than flies next to Samael, as she than spoke out to him.

"This is why I want you to lend my body to me. Some of the monsters around here, they tend to act as traps. You saw what those Moldbygg did to the Temmies. They act as bear traps that will snap if you dare step of them."

Samael than stood up, as he than spoke out.

"Having my body being controlled like a puppet is never an option for me. I am not giving up on this fight that easily, and you know that."

Chara scoffed, as she than spoke out.

"If you want to risk getting consumed, surprise me."

Samael spoke out.

"Oh I will surprise you, alright. I will surprise you by trying to find out about the truth of what is going on around here, because I have a feeling that you are not telling me everything."

Samael than turns around and walks away, as Chara looks at Samael, and...back in the flower room, Chara has an annoyed look in her eyes, due to the fact that Samael is very stubborn, and refuses to bow down to her demands. But, Samael...he has a lot of LV already, and she needs his body, unlike Aliza, where her body is much too weaker, due to never gaining LV at all, and besides, he had the red Determination Soul, which is also another reason as to why she needs his body. So she is not going to stop until she gets what she wants.

But as Samael continues forward...Samael...he than noticed something. He looks to the side...and saw an entity...but not like any he had ever seen in his entire life. This entity...he could barely make out its appearance. But he could make out the stark white skin, and the weird holes in his hands.

This made Samael surprised, as he spoke out.

"Hey, who are-"

But the entity noticed him, and it vanished before his very eyes, catching him by surprise, and Samael was confused, as he has no idea what had just happened. Samael stared at the spot that once had the entity, before Chara that spoke out.

"Samael. Sans and Aliza are coming in close. You need to hide, quick!"

Samael jumped, clearly it expecting for the both of them to come to his direction this fast, as he thought out to himself.

'Sans and Aliza came to me quicker than expected. I need to find a way to hide."

Samael looked around, but than...remembers the spot that the mysterious entity was in. He than took a deep breath, before speaking out.

"This is gonna end badly for me...probably...but this is the best spot that I can think of that will help me hide."

Samael than goes into the shadows, and he goes as far deep into it as he can, in order to make himself act invisible, or better yet, act like a part of the wall that is behind him.

Than, Sans and Aliza ran fast, as Sans and Aliza looked around, as Samael than crouched down, in order to make himself as unnoticeable as possible, so that Sans and Aliza do not see him. Sans looked around, as he spoke out.

"c'mon, kid, where are you?"

"Samael, where are you?"

Aliza sounded worried, even sounding fearful for his life. Samael...flinched, as he looks at Aliza, as she has a genuinely worried look in her eyes. A pain in his chest, as he wanted to rise up, and hug her, and never let her go. But Samael knew better, and besides, her eyes, nose, and mouth are leaking out more of the black stuff, of the corrupted magic. She than opens her hand, and a bright flame appeared from above her hands. Looks like Aliza is able to do this as well. But Samael does not let it go and reveal him. Instead, he looked and saw a bunch of rocks next to each other. They will cover him as much as they can.  So, without any hesitation, he jumped into the rocks, before the light of the flame could touch him. And luckily, Aliza did not see his feet move.

Samael crouches down, but peaks in between the rocks to see both Sans and Aliza, and they are still looking for him.

"Samael, come out! I'm sorry! Please just come back to me!"

Samael gripped his hand onto his heart, as he can feel a pain in there growing much more than before. He just wants to jump and hug her...but...he can't. This is too important to him, and he is unsure of how long Aliza will last before she succumbs to the Hunger's effects. He looks down, and he saw a small rock on the ground, he than grabs it...before looking to a direction, before he than threw it.

Sans immediately turns around, as Aliza than turns to that same direction.

"Sam...Samael?"

Aliza said, as she than went to the direction of where the rock was. Sans snarled, as he spoke out to himself.

"this brat is keeping in playin' cat and mouse with us."

Sans ran after Aliza, as Samael came out of hiding. He sighed, and being careful not to make a sudden sound, as well as being careful not to kick the rocks, he was able to cross the field of large rocks, before he than spoke to himself.

"Phew, that was close. Now to take this route."

Samael said, as he than went to a different direction, one that is separate from the route that Sans and Aliza were lured into. Samael walked through it...and he walked downwards, deeper and deeper and deeper into the Waterfalls, he can hear more and more of the water crashed down, much more louder than before, as he moved into the area that is likely, the deepest area of the Waterfalls, as well as likely, the deepest area of the whole Underground.

"This is getting dark, I need some light."

Samael than opened his hand, and a bright flame manifested above his pal and between his hands. But surprisingly, he games are much more brighter than ever before. Seems like the LV that Samael absorbed made him even more stronger than before, his magic. But Samael has no time to ponder this. He needs to keep on moving. So he wanders down the path as much as he can, until he than managed to find some light at the end of the tunnel. He reaches there...and he sees that he is inside of an area that is way more different from the rest of Waterfalls, and it was huge. The Waterfalls are very large, and the area is so immensely that the entire Mountain should not be large enough to house this amount, unless they are underneath the mountain.

Samael was surprised, as he looked around the area that he is in, a feeling of surprise is on his face, as he looked around the area. The entire area also has a large glow. So Samael puts away his flames, as he than looked around the area. He seems to be very interested in it, and even awed at its beauty. He simply cannot describe what it is like, and simply thinks that the whole area is just beautiful.

But Samael was not careful...because the fact that there are a lot of monsters inside of the area that he is in, and one of them is about to munch on his head, and eat the meat that is inside of him.

As Saamel walked around, he than heard Chara spoke out.

"Samael, look behind you!!"

Samael jumped, as he than turned around...and than...he saw something that had almost made him faint.

"Wha...what the fuck."

Samael spoke, as he sees that there is a monster, and this monster that is now behind him, it is very tall and very, very scary.

Right behind of Samael is a large dragon-like monster. It is holding a large axe in its hands, and it's eyes are glowing dangerously with hunger, as flames began to leak out from his mouth, with the flames being a greenish-blue type of color, and needless to say, Samael realizes that he is now screwed.

"Oh...oh shit."

The Dragon raised its axe into the air, before he than swung it down at Samael, who than sidestepped out of the way, the Axe struck the ground without any difficulty in making all large cut into it. But Samael was not going to let the Dragon kill him, as he than began to run. He ran as fast as he can, and did not stop, because should he stop, he will die. But the Dragon easily caught up with Samael, and tried to grab him, but Samael than jumped out of the way, as he than looks at the dragon monster that than breathed fire from his mouth, making Samael jump backwards, as Samael stares at the monster before his eyes. Samael looks down at himself, and realizes on what he needs to do.

"Alright, Samael. Time to fight for your fucking life."

Samael than gripped the sword, as he than stares at the Dragon Monster, who than spoke out.

"It is no use to resist. You will be consumed by me!!"

He than breaths fire at Samael again, but Samael got out of the way, and launched fired balls at the Dragon Monster, which made him tumble back a little bit. Samael than ran forward, and swung his sword, in hopes that it will cut through his chest. But the Dragon Monster noticed, as he than used his axe to block the attack against the sword strike. And than, the Dragon launched a powerful kick at Samael, making him gasp in pain, as he was than launched backwards. He than began to stand up, as he than looks at the Dragon Monster before his eyes. He looks down at himself, and sees that his HP is 198/228. That is not good. He than pressed the act button, and sees the word, CHECK.

The Royal Guard who lost his beloved."

Chara read, as the Royal Guard than charged at Samael, and tries to decapitate his head, only for Samael to avoid the attack, and swung his sword, nicking him in the hip, making the dragon roar in agony. It than looked at Samael, as Samael, using the act option of speak, than spoke out.

"Don't make me fight you."

The Dragon than shouted back at Samael.

"You are gonna have to fight me!! I die, or you get consumed!!!"

He than swung his Axe above Samael, only for Samael to raise his sword up, and blocks the sword. Samael shook at the strength of the dragon...but than realized something...he is not collapsing. He has somehow felt strong enough to handle the strength of the Royal Guard, who should be much more stronger than Samael himself. Seems like the LV has increased the strength of his Physical Body. He than kicked the Royal Guard, which made him back up a little bit, before he than runs up, and punches the Royal Guard in the face, causing blood to leak out of his mouth. He than acts again with talking.

"Why can't you stop?! Don't you hate the bloodshed?! If so, you should fight this thing instead of siding with it!!!"

But the Dragon than roared back at him.

"Don't you think that we tried that?! We tried to fight it, but it was too strong, and I had lost everything!!! So now I has to live like this, and I can never be free!! The only freedom for me now is death, or for you to be consumed by me!!!"

He than breaths fire at Samael, but Samael than launched a large fireball at the Royal Guard, as he than began to push against each other, until the fireball was overpowered, and went straight to Samael, only for Samael to duck down, and the fire breath, as well as the fireball, missed, and exploded at a wall. But the problem...that Samael has...became worse, because the area that they are fighting in...is high above the water. In other words, it is a bridge of rock.

"Oh no."

Samael said, as the bright than crumbled from the power of the explosion. Samael and the Royal Guard than began to fall down fast, as Samael spreads his arms, in order to try and slow down as best as he could. But he still sees that he is gonna fall down to the ground fast. So, with the remaining time that he has, he uses his fireballs for make small explosions to push himself into the air for a second, and was able to land safely on the ground, though he did fall flat on his face.

"Ow..."

Samael said, as he than stood up from the ground. But than, fire from above roared, as it struck the ground, and Samael jumped back, as he looked up to see that the Royal Guard used his fire breath to slow himself as much as he can. Samael was worried, as he than stepped back, but saw that he is on the edge, which leads down to the water. Samael was scared, but he than looks back at the Royal Guard, who than snarled out.

"Face me...and be consumed. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHH!!!!!"

The Dragon roars loudly, before he than charged at Samael. And Samael, without any hesitation on his part, runs forward towards the Royal Guard, and clashed weapons with it, as the blades grind against each other, with Samael using all of his strength to try and hold off against dragon. He than leapt up into the air, and struck the dragon at the chest by slicing it, creating a large gash in it. But the dragon was not bothered by it, as he than struck Samael by punching him, which results in Samael having 168/228. He than stood up, as he than looked at the Royal Guard, who than used his Fire Breath at him, but Samael used his fireballs to try and stop it from reaching him.

But it was all for nought, as the fire breath overpowered Samael's fire, and Samael was burned by the attack, which results in a loss of turning his HP into 114/228. Samael crashed down to the floor, as he than began to stand up, but was too weak to fight anymore. Samael looks up, and saw that the Dragon raised the Axe in the air, and spoke out.

"Goodbye..."

But Samael...before he realize what was gonna happen...felt his body move on its own...as he grabbed the sword, and swung it. And a red slash appeared, as it struck the Dragon in the chest, making him freeze, before he than collapsed to the ground. Samael than scrambled up to his feet, as he than ran to the dragon, as the dragon spoke out.

"So...this it it, huh? Fighting in the battle to the death. Well...I don't mind. I finally get to see my bro again, after so long. Just as how I wanted it to...happen...now...I can finally see my bro...my beloved again, after so long."

The dragon than turn to the direction of Samael, who looked very sad at the dragon. And the dragon...realizing that he is going to stay next to him, until he dies. He than smiled, as he spoke out.

"Little man...thank you...for putting me out of this miserable, cursed life. Now...I can finally rest, and see him, after so long...I can see him, my bro...looking at me...waiting for me...thank you...so much."

Than...the dragon...he turned to dust. There was no meat left behind, no cry. Just a somber silence. Samael looked down, sad...as he felt his LV increased to 10. He looks down at himself...and saw that his HP is now 236. But he does not care about his HP. He used his hands to pick up the dust...and put it into a spot where the water won't splash it. He than takes out a white rock, as he than wrote on the walls.

"Here lies Royal Guard 02, who died to the bitter end. May his soul be reunited with the one that he loves the most."

Samael sighed, before taking the Royal Guard's axe, and put it next to the Dust, the remains of the Royal Guard who he had fought against. He would take it, and he would use it for his journey. But...this monster lost someone who he loved deeply. So it would not be right for him to do that. Samael sighed...before he than stood up, and walked to continue his journey. But as he walked, Chara spoke out.

"Samael, why didn't you take the weapon?! It would have been useful in your journey!!!"

Samael nodded, as he than spoke out.

"Yeah, it would have...but...I feel like...it wouldn't be right...since that monster, is in grief. I felt like...he deserved to have someone remember him, if there is someone that does remember him. And besides, I already have enough weapons for me to have fight using."

Chara was angry, as she than spoke out.

"But that is not some dumb reason for you to abandon the weapons, just because you have sympathy for a-"

And as Chara was about to continue...Samael and Chara freeze. And...it was that feeling again...the sense of Dread, the Nigh-Impenetrable darkness...the one he felt in the Menu, it is here, even the the flies above are glowing.

"Hide, quick!!!"

Samael, not wasting time, ran as fast as he could, and dived behind a large rock, that is enough to keep him concealed. Samael looked down at the ground...and saw a very large shadow appear over him. So large and black that he can almost not see his own body, and only see blackness. But Samael...he wondered what it is that has appeared. So...making sure that he does not appear...Samael took the time to rise up, and get a peak. And what he saw...was a pure nightmare. So horrifying, in fact, he wanted to scream out his fears, he wanted to die at the sight of this monstrosity that is standing before his very eyes, he wanted...to rip his own eyes out of his head, so he does not have to witness the sight before him.

Casting out the large shadows of the Waterfalls, was a massive, gargantuan entity, unlike any of the monsters he's seen. It was made of plants and vines, which are dying, with the arms, torso, and many of the other plant parts of the body being covered in eyes, with red fingers on each of the arms, and it seem to be, bipedal, in terms of body structure. The head, though, is the worst one of it all. It has 2 mouths. The longer one resembles that of an ant's mouth, except that it had teeth, and is connected by thick threads of flesh, while the mouth being the longer one has a human-like mouth, but like the longer one, it is sharp, jagged, and in very grotesque shapes, with drool coming out of the 2 mouths, and blood on each of them. The eyes of the entity are red in color, with green irises, and there are pipes, 2 of which surround the eyes. There are 2 pipes that also have been snapped, and smoke is leaking out. He can feel the awful stench coming from them. And on the single cracked screen...is a single eye, and that, along with the 2 lower eyes...are leaking out black liquid. It is none other than the most powerful monster in the Underground, the cause of the Hunger, and one that had tormented the Monsters with its powers, the most determined monster to ever live. It is none other...than the Fiend of a Thousand Eyes
