Sans and Aliza had teleported to a safe area within the Waterfalls. Aliza than looked around, and she saw that they are in an empty part of the Waterfalls, as she looks around, and felt immense stress at what had happened. Her childhood friend, she had been separated from him once again. And this time, it is her father that had to do it. Her father had to separate her from who she had grown up with. Aliza turns to Sans and she than spoke out to him.

"Why...why didn't you let me chase him?! We could have brought him back to us, back to me!!"

Sans than spoke back to Aliza.

"not when that weed is present."

Aliza was confused, as she than spoke out to Sans.

"What do you mean?"

Sans sighed, as he rubbed the side of his skull, as he than spoke out to her.

"that weed, that you have seen...he is the strongest monster in the entire underground, due to the fact that he has absorbed human souls. because of this, if we had tried to chase him, we would have been consumed by him, and your soul would have made him stronger, had he consumed it."

Aliza was horrified, as she than spoke out to her father.

"You mean...I would have been no longer reunited with Samael?"

Sans nodded, as he than spoke out.

"yes, and even worse, is that it would make that weed strong enough to chase samael, and he would have been-"

But before Sans could finish speaking, both him and Aliza heard a loud scream.

"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!"

This made Aliza's eyes widened, as she recognized that voice. She turns to the direction of where it had came from, her eyes widened, in immense horror, as she shrieked out in fear for the person that had screamed, horrified.

"Samael!"

She turned around, and rushed back to find Samael, as Sans spoke out.

"aliza, wait-graaahh!!!"

Sans shouted in frustration, before he than grabbed his axe, and runs as fast as he can so that he can protect Aliza from the dangers that are going to occur when she goes to the dangers within the Waterfalls. He does not like it, but since Aliza's inherited her mother's brave personality and her care for others, even if it is now twisted, he needs to make sure that she is okay.

Aliza runs fast, as she spoke out.

"Don't worry, Samael! I'm coming!!"

With Samael...

"How, how can this be?! It didn't eat any tainted meat at all!! How can I be infected??!!!"

Samael shouted, as he held his head, as Chara looks down at Samael, as she than spoke out to him.

"Who says that you need to eat the infected meat in order to become infected yourself?"

Samael looks at Chara, as she than continued to speak out.

"The Hunger is everywhere, and it is even present in the very air, the moment that you had breathed inside of the Underground, you are already infected from the start. And it becomes more and more noticeable, as you get closer and closer to the source of the Hunger."

Samael was horrified, as he stepped backwards, before he than sits down onto the ground, as he than spoke out.

"N...no, this can't...can't be. I'm...I can't be...I don't want to be one of them..."

Samael was scared, as he spoke out in a broken whisper, and he can barely get the words out of his mouth. He buried his head into his legs, as began to shake, as the black sludge began to leak out of his eyes, nose, and mouth. He can't taste it, but he can feel it, running out of his nostrils, filling up and going out of his throat, leaking out from his eyes. He than could hear something, voices.

Give in.

Become one with the hunger.

Consume all in the Underground

Feast like a true predator

Have all the meat you want.

Fill up your bottomless hunger.
Rid yourself of endless gluttony.

Samael held his head, as he than spoke out to the voices.

"Shut up, shut up, shut up!! Get out of my head!!"

Samael tries to shake the voices from his head, and than...another voice is heard.

"This is utterly pathetic."

Samael's eyes widened, as he than turned around, and saw that there is someone sitting next to him. And it is someone that only Samael can see. Sitting next to him was a black humanoid, resembling Samael, somewhat, but he's a little bit taller than Samael by about 2 inches, and has horned above his ears at the side of his head, and is glowing white, with white flames sometimes generating out of nowhere. Fire is shown all over his body, as it is on the top part of his hands, shoulders, and coming out from the mouth and his mouth glows white, as if fire is being generated inside, and despite that, this entity is smiling very clearly, and is shown to him in an extremely creepy way. His white eye flares dangerously at the sight of Samael.

The entity smiled, as he spoke out to Samael.

"Hello, Samael, do you remember me?"

Samael was horrified, as he not expecting for him to appear before him at this time.

"You...why are you here, Devil?"

The Devil smiled, as he loves to torment Samael very cruelly. The Devil is an alternate personality, and the embodiment of Samael's trauma from the fire that had killed his parents. The Devil would whisper in his head to do terrible things, and if that didn't work, it would mock and insult and make cruel comments about him or his parents, though the parents is a rare thing for the Devil to even try insulting about. And if that does not work, it will simply just knock him out, and while it doesn't truly hurt him, since it is a mental entity, he can make him go unconscious, in order to torment him in his nightmares. But as he got older, he saw it less and less, as he became less and less afraid of the Devil, and soon the Devil was gone at the age of 14. He would hear it, but he would simply brush it off, since there is no one with him, and only hears Aliza when he is with his friend. But it seems like the Hunger released the Devil again.

Samael was horrified to see the Devil again, as he is not expecting to see him very suddenly. He never thought that he would return, as he though that he simply locked him inside of the mind. Well, it seem like the Hunger has released the Devil from his cage, and he has now returned. The Devil smiled, as he tilted his head, and spoke out to him.

"Did you not realize it? Huh, you are really stupid, just like your parents, having no idea of how or why that this sort of thing happens out of nowhere."

Samael clenched his fist, as the Devil spoke out.

"You felt afraid, frustration, despair. The very negative emotions that you first felt when that incident has happened. Your DETERMINATION, it had been the only thing that has held me back. It had been the only one that had caged me for so long, inside the deepest, darkest depth of your mind. And because of this, you were not able to be influenced by me. But now...now that your DETERMINATION has been shaken by what has happened to you, by becoming infected, and the fact that your childhood friend has been infected, you will not be able to contain me. And I am now free. I will do as I please and follow you around. If you ever try and die, do not expect me to let you be in control here."

This made Samael scared, as he realizes that now, due to the Hunger leaving his mind vulnerable, this will give the Devil a chance to control him. And this is the last thing that he needs to happen to him. He looks down at his hand...and he clenched his fist, as he than looks up at the Devil with anger in his eyes, as the black tears stopped coming down from his eyes and nostrils, as he than spoke out to the Devil.

"I do not know why you have decided to show yourself now, instead of sometime when I am at my weakest...but I will say this, you are not gaining control of me, and neither is that disgusting rotting corpse of a kid gonna do the same to me! I am gonna find a way to put an end to all of this, and you are not going to stop me!"

The Devil, however, smiled, as he glowed a whitish-red color, as he than spoke out.

"Me, no. Of course I won't. But that kid, Chara? She will. So I suggest that you watch yourself, before you let her control you."

Samael looks at the Devil in the eyes, as he than spoke out to him in the same tone.

"She is gonna have to try and break me the fuck down first."

Devil smiled a little bit wider, before he than closed his eyes and vanished from his sight. But Samael knows that this is not the end, as he is well aware of one thing. The Devil will come back and see him. He looks down at his hand and clenched his fist. He knows that he cannot waste time. He needs to get moving, and he needs to find the cause of all of this. It may seem impossible for a human such as him, but there is structure to the chaos, and he will find the structure to see this through. His DETERMINATION is back again. He than stood up from the pieces of garbage that he is sitting on top of, and he began to move to the next area...but in order to move there, he needs to go into the ocean...and it is entirely possible that the ocean is infected too. Well, it is worth the risk, and besides, he should be fine, as long as it does not get into his eyes, nose, and mouth. Unlikely to get inside of the ears, due to the Ear Drums not really directing to where it should need to be. But Samael, he went inside of the water anyway.

As soon as he did...he felt his feet and legs beginning to feel insanely cold, not to mention, gross. It felt like there was some globs sticking to his lands, even though he is not truly being touched by them, and it is simply his pants. He looks around in the area that he is in, and saw that it is filled with a lot of junk. Some of which were from the outside, that belonged to the humans. How did they even get inside of the mountain in the first place? Well, it doesn't matter. It is not important for him. What is important...is getting out of the area that he is in. So without any hesitation, he decides to go and try to find a way out of this place, as well as finding a place to rest in, so that he will be safe.

As he walked around, as he wondered all over the place, he sees that the sight was about to get more and more gross and revolting. Everywhere, bodies and bones were present. Many of them were rotted, the states of decay varied between the corpses that he is looking at. Samael could not imagine how bad it must have gotten at that point, especially since he is not able to see this since the whole beginning. He wondered...how in the world did all of this happen. But as he walked around, the Scarlet Moth came back, and Chara, as the most, looks at Samael, as she than spoke out to him.

"So, you're still here, I see. You have not fallen under the effects of the Hunger the way that you're supposed to."

Samael ignored her, as he kept on moving. He does not want to give her the satisfaction to try and make him talk back to her. Otherwise, it would allow her a reason to think that he is still going to give up. So he kept his mouth shut, and just kept on moving to where he is trying to find the way out of this place. But as he kept on moving, he can hear the voices within him, speaking out to him.

"Embrace your boundless gluttony."

"You will feel more powerful than you are now."

"Your being will be more stronger."

"You'll reunite with your beautiful friend."

"Be one with her."

But Samael spoke out to the voices.

"Shut up."

He then kept on moving, as he tries to find a way out again, he kept on moving, and kept on looking as hard as he can, so that he can move onto the next area. Samael clenched his fist, as he is looking everywhere, but sees that he is not able to see well in the dark. He than held his hand out, and a bright blue flame, while it is also very small, came off of one of his fingertips, and he began to move. However, as he kept on moving, Samael past something that is behind him, and it's eyes were glowing. The sound of fabric began to be heard and fungal began to shift at the area of where that entity is at, as Samael kept on moving, not noticing what is about to happen.

As Samael looked around, Chara turned around, and she noticed it, as she spoke out, seriously.

"Samael, look behind you."

Samael, while a bit suspicious, turned around to see what it is that has made Chara suddenly worried, only to see a very sudden sight behind him. And needless to say, the sight behind him was not what he had been expecting to see. The sight before him, well, he thinks that he has seen everything around in the godforsaken place.

Samael was very revolted at the sight that is before his very eyes. Before his very eyes, it looks like a training dummy, but it has a mouth that is attached to the head, which is moving, with fungus all over the body and a mouth in the stomach, as well as black-ashen stuffing coming out messily. Samael was disgusted at the sight that is before his eyes. He stepped back, as the entity than spoke out.

"Meat!! I found meat!! I will eat your entrails and your heart!! You will never escape from me, never!!!"

This made Samael flinched at the tone of voice, as the dummy sound crazed. The dummy than began to Nash his jaws violently, before he then charged at Samael. And Samael, without any hesitation, began to run. He begs to run as far away from the dummy as he can, and tries all he can to escape from it. He does not know what that is, but he knows that if he hesitates for even a little bit, he will die and get consumed. And even if he does come back, the hunger is going to infect him more. So he needs to use his DETERMINATION without having it tainted further. As he kept on running, he than saw a knife go past, and tried to hit his head, but Samael ducked, and he turns around, and swung his sword, which made the Mad Dummy back off, as the Mad Dummy spoke out.

"So, you wanna fight, eh!! It has been a long time since I had a prey that can fight back!! I'll gnaw on your bones when I eat your corpse!!"

Samael glared dangerously, a black tear comes out of his right eye, as his felt his souk flicker, ready to fight. His eyes glow red dangerously, as he feels a little bit frustrated that there is something that is blocking his way. He presses the act button, and he presses the button 'check' in order to see the Mad Dummy's stats, and too his dismay, Mad Dummy is actually what is called, as Chara reads the info of the Mad Dummy.

"Mad Dummy

DEF: -20

He seems to be more insane than ever before."

Needless to say, that was not helpful, as the Mad Dummy spoke out.

"I'll eat you alive!! Eat! Eat!! EAT!!!!"

Than, multiple dummies appeared around Samael, all of them rotted and decayed just like the Mad Dummy, as they fired a type of ball made of corrupted magic. Samael does not know what will happen if he gets hit, and he does not want to know. He than runs to the Mad Dummy, and jumps over him, before he punches the back of his head, sending him towards his own attacks, and making him feel a lot of pain. The Mad Dummy got even more pissed off, as he than began to show like a madman.

"YOU PATHETIC HUMAN!!!! YOU WILL FEED ME!!! YOIR BODY IS MINE!!! MINE!!! MINE!!!!"

He than summoned both the normal dummies, and strangely, robotic dummies, and the robotic dummies look like they have been damaged, with across of metal gone. Some of them launched themselves in his direction, while others used rockets that follow him around for a little bit. Thankfully, Samael is able to avoid getting hit, and even had a bunch of missiles hit the Mad Dummy, which exploded in his face, making a cloud is smoke appear. Samael, taking this chance, ran for his life, and as the smoke cleared, the Mad Dummh began to look around, and shrieked in an extremely high fury.

"NO!!! NO!!!!! NOOOOOOOO!!! I WAS GOING TO EAT HIM ALIVE!!!! HIS BODY WOULD HAVE BEEN THE GREATEST MEAL IN MY EYES!!!"

Than, a male voice spoke out to the Mad Dummy.

"well...too bad you won't be getting any food of your own, pal."

And the voice...he recognized it...as he turned around to see that Sans is here, along with a human girl. The Mad Dummy, who wanted to take her, knows better than to mess with Sans, as he than tries to flee, only for Sans to use his blue magic, and pin him to a wall of trash, as he held his axe to his head, as he than spoke out, his orange eye glowing with madness and insanity that's nearly unrivaled.

"normally...i would kill you and eat your soul...but since you actually did something for me, i want to ask you a question. where is that human kid, that you were fighting?"

With Samael...

Samael began to run as fast as he can, he could not stop, even though he wants to. He knows bette Ethan to stop, because of he does, than he will be killed and eaten alive. And he does not want to risk that happening to him. So he kept on running and running, until he can find a safe place to be in. He kept on running, and than...he began to slow down, as he felt himself beginning to feel weak and tired from having to run so fast.

"This is so...haaa...exhausted. I can't continue running. But if I don't continue to run, Sans and Aliza will catch me...and I'll be dead."

As he kept on moving, he hears the voices within him continuing to speak within his head.

"What's the point of resisting?"

"You cannot escape us."

"You will embrace your true, complete nature."

Samael spoke out.

"I'd rather die than join you."

He than began to go to an entrance...one that he accidentally slipped into...as he than goes into a tunnel...before he than found himself in what appears to be a place made of mushrooms. This surprised Chara, as the Scarlet Moth followed behind him, as she spoke out.

"This is...odd. I have never seen a place like that before."

Samael than looks around, and spoke out.

"Well...hopefully...it is a place to stay in until I regain my strength. I need to catch a few Zs."

He than looked around...and he found a perfect spot to be in. He than sat down, and rested his head against the spot that he had chosen to be in, and began to close his eyes, his hood over his head. But as Samael began to feel sleepy, The Scarlet Moth looked, and saw roots beginning to ensnare Samael's fingers, and than, Chara turns to see a mushroom moving, and he had teeth. This made Chara realize that...Samael was baited into this.

Before Samael could close his eyes and sleep, he can hear Chara screaming out to him.

"Samael!! Don't close your eyes!! Wake up now!!! What you are in...

...It's a trap!!!"
