Samael...he has no idea how long he had been sleeping his head off for. He knows that he had begun to feel drowsy inside of the place that he is in, but then...as he began to close his eyes, he felt something wrapping around his limbs. But now...Samael feels like he is on something else. He felt like...he is on a soft bed, with covers of an extremely comfy bed over his body, and his legs curled up a little bit. And then...he felt something on his face that he never thought that he would be able to feel. A glow, light and warm, on his own face. Samael...he has no idea what is happening...but he then heard a voice spoke out.

"Samael, wake up."

A female voice, one that he is very familiar with, and one that he never thought that he has heard. He then opens his eyes...and...he sees Aliza, standing over his body, over the bed that he is in. Samael has no idea what is happening, as he then began to sit up, and rubbed his eyes, as he took them out from the covers, with wrapped around his arms. Samael does not know what is happening, but he feels his body moving on his own, and even more strange, is that he is beginning to speak...but he is not controlling it.

"Aliza. Is that you? How long was I asleep?"

Aliza giggled happily, and it sounded very...cute, as she then spoke out.

"You've slept an hour late, silly! Now come on, get up!"

Samael nodded, as he then yawned a little bit, before he spoke out.

"Okay. Just, let me get dressed first, okay?"

Aliza nodded, as she went out of her room and down the stairs, as Samael than began to get up from the bed and stand up on the soft floor. He then began to look around the room a little bit, and he saw that...it was very clean. His room has some stuff such as an umbrella, an iPhone on his desk, and outside of the window, is Ebott City, the home that Aliza and he had once lived in. But what just happened, though? Why wasn't he in the underground, having his entire body munched on?

"Was it all...a dream?"

As Samael looked around, he then looked himself in a mirror that is attached to the desk. Looking at himself, he sees that his hair is cut short, he looks much cleaner, wearing a black hoodie with pajama pants, and he did not wear any filthy clothing. He then looks behind him and sees a piece of furniture that must be holding his clothing. He rose an eyebrow at the sight that is before his very eyes, as he then opened it, and sees that he has been given a fresh set of cloths, unlike the clothing that he had when he is homeless. He took out a pair of black pants with white stripes at the side of them, before taking out a blue t-shirt, before he then went to the closet, and took out a black jacket.

Samael than opened the door, now out of his pajamas and in his new clothes, as well as the fact that he has made his bed, now looks downstairs, and goes down, calmly and carefully hopefully not disturbing the other people that might still be sleeping in this new home that Samael is inside of right now. As he walked down the stairs, he then went into the living room, and he sees Aliza...with Sans and Papyrus! But...they look...cleaner and less hostile. Sans, he still has that damaged eye socket on the left part of his face. But he looks way friendlier, and less scary. Aliza turns around, and saw that Samael is here, and she smiled, and spoke out.

"There you are, Samael! I was worried that you would never get up, like daddy almost never does."

Sans smiled, as he shrugged his shoulder, and chuckled a little bit.

"heh, he may sleep a lot, but he is nowhere near how long that i myself can sleep."

Papyrus looks at Sans with an annoyed expression in his eyes, as he then spoke out.

"THAT IS MAINLY BECAUSE YOU ARE SO LAZY AND DON'T DO MUCH, SANS!! AT LEAST DO SOMETHING ACTIVE AND ENJOYING FOR ONCE!!!"

Sans smiled a little bit, as he then spoke out to Papyrus.

"what can I say? i am just so 'bone-tired' all the time."

Needless to say, Papyrus was not happy, as he then spoke out with an incredibly ticked-off expression present on his face.

"SANS!!!! THIS IS ALREADY MORNING, AND YOU ARE ALREADY DOING PUNS??!!!! AT LEAST STOP DOING IT FOR A WHOLE DAY!!!"

Sans smiled much wider than before, as he then spoke out to his younger brother.

"or else what, paps? are you gonna 'pun'-ish me?"

Papyrus got so angry that he spoke out.

"SANS, NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!"

"sans yes."

Than, before Samael and Aliza even knew of it, both Sans and Papyrus began to bicker with each other, as Aliza spoke out.

"Wanna bet how long it will take for them to finally cool off and stop this funny scene?"

Samael looks at Aliza, as he spoke out to her.

"6Hours."

Aliza smiled and spoke out.

"1 Hour."

Samael than began to look around the living room and sees that there is a photo of Sans and Aliza on what appears to be a shelf of sorts.

In the picture, Sans is hugging Aliza with a smile on his face, even though the hole on his head is still here. Tears of joy is present, as he and Aliza embraced each other. But oddly, there is ruby on Sans' shoulder, looking like she is breaking apart. Samael shrugged this off, thinking that this is just merely a picture that is simply drawn by someone that someone might have known of. But he cannot help but feel something strange with what he is simply seeing before his eyes, almost as if this thing is out of place. Maybe it is just his imagination, as then, Sans spoke out to Aliza.

"hey, liza, kiddo. time to go outside, dontch'a both agree?"

Samael and Aliza turned around and sees Sans with a smile on his face, with his jacket on, along with the locket around his neck, as Aliza smiled and nodded her head.

"Okay, we'll go, daddy! Come on, Samael! Let's all go outside!"

Aliza than turns around and held out her hand, and Samael blushed at this sudden gesture, but he then smiled, as he then extended his hand and took it, as he and Papyrus followed Aliza and Sans outside to wherever it is that they are going. Samael looked around, and he smiled a little bit, as Ruby than flies next to Aliza and sat on top of her shoulder, and Aliza smiled, as she than spoke out to her butterfly friend.

"Oh, there you are, Ruby! I was wondering where you were at! Hehehehehehehehehehehe!"

Samael smiled a little bit as he looked at Ruby, feeling happy to see his friend's butterfly friend again. He was very happy to see his companion as well. He may not own Ruby, as that is Aliza's thing, but he does like the fact that she is always present. Almost whenever that she is here, he would be able to feel happy again, like she gives him the strength to keep on going. And now, he gets the feeling that there is nothing wrong, and that everything is still normal. As Samael look up, he sees the sun above the sky, the warm glow touching his body, and the wind currents blowing against Samael, almost as if he is running on the sky itself, unbound by the ground that he is walking atop of.

After an hour of walking around, they look and see that they are at what appears to be a beach of some sort. Aliza and Samael went there before. It was during the second time that they had met in broad daylight. While Samael and Aliza have met many times when they are kids, it is during the night. But during the day, it is when they first saw each other again, and Samael's face was much clearer than last time. Sans smiled, as he spoke out.

"i wonder if we should 'sand' undyne a picture of all of us?"

Needless to say, Papyrus got extremely agitated, as he shouted out to Sans.

"EVEN AT THE BEACH, YOU MAKE PUNS!!!! WHY IS IT THAT I CANNOT GO ON WITHOUT A DAY WITHOUT YOUR PUNS RUINING OUR TIME TOGETHER???!!!!!"

Sans smiled a little bit at his younger brother, as he than spoke out to Papyrus.

"well, bro, for starters..."

Papyrus looks at Sans, as he sees the grin on his face, and he than snarled out a little bit.

"SANS...DON'T YOU EVEN DARE THINK ABOUT-"

But before he can finish, Sans already said a pun to Papyrus.

"it be 'shell'-fish for me to not make puns for the kiddos."

But Papyrus was not happy, as he screamed at the top of his lungs.

"SANS!!!!!!!"

Sans smiled, as he than ran fast, with Papyrus chasing after him with an intent to hurt him, even though it is just Sans being his usual self, making puns and all of that. Needless to say, Samael and Aliza simply watched, as Papyrus and Sans run in circles with Papyrus trying to catch and grab onto Sans, and Sans trying to prevent Papyrus from grabbing onto him. And it is almost happening in an almost cartoonish-like fashion. Needless to say, Samael and Aliza smiled a little bit, as Aliza leaned next to Samael's face, as she spoke out.

"Must be a very 'cloudy' day for Uncle Papyrus, huh?"

Samael looks at Aliza, knowing that she's referring to the sand cloud that Papyrus and Sans are making, as Samael than spoke out.

"I 'seaweed' be all having a very good time right now, Aliza."

Aliza smiled at Samael, as Samael also smiled at Aliza. Than, they look back at Sans and Papyrus, as Samael than spoke out.

"Let's set up the beach stuff, but where they are, or they'll wreck them."

Aliza looks at Samael in the head, as she than spoke out.

"Yeah, good call, Samael. Let's go."

So Aliza and Samael than began to set them up, as Sans and Papyrus, they both became tired of what they were doing, and saw that Samael and Aliza are done setting up their beach stuff, as Sans and Papyris than spoke out to them.

"heh, guess you didn't need our help, huh?"

Samael and Aliza looked at Sans, as Samael than spoke out to Sans in a rather annoyed tone, as he than spoke back to the father of Aliza.

"Mainly because you and your younger bro are too busy arguing with each other to try and help us. We did that just so we did not have to wait for you. Se me and Aliza had to krill time."

Sans smiled a little bit, due to Samael making a pun, as Samael thought out to himself.

'Sans' puns are rubbing off on me. I really need a doctor after this. Wait, since when did I ever here Sans saying puns to me before.'

Aliza than looks forward the upper right direction, as she spoke out.

"What's Uncle Paps doing?"

Sans looks up at the direction of where Aliza's pointing at, and sees Papyrus trying to get ice cream. And Sans realized...Papyrus did not get his money. So he than spoke out.

"i'll be right back. hang on a second."

Sans than teleported to where Papyrus is at, thankfully he had some money with him, in order to pay the ice cream that Papyrus is trying to buy, as Samael and Aliza watched. And it was a bit of a funny scene to watch, but eventually, they were able to fight for the price of the ice cream and buy it, as Sans and Papyrus came back, giving Aliza a chocolate ice cream and vanilla ice cream, both on a waffle cone.

And Samael, he always loved vanilla so much, as he cannot simply deny it, as he spoke out.

"Thank you, Sans. That was 'sweet' of you to do that for me."

Sans smiled, as he than spoke out to Samael, humorously.

"What can I say, 'Ice Cream' for your favorite flavor, kiddo."

Sans and Samael smiled, as Samael and Aliza ate their Ice Cream, as they both hung out in the warm sun very happily. Samael, he can taste the sweet flavor of the Ice Cream, cold, sugary, and sweet, as Aliza felt the same with her Ice Cream in her hands. And needless to say, this felt like the best day he had, and there is simply no denying it. As Samael and Aliza looked around, Samael than looked at the beach before him...but as he did, he thought he saw something off about the beach. But he didn't get a good glimpse, because when he blinked his eyes, what he had thought that he had seen was gone, with Samael being very confused.

Samuel blinked for a little bit, but he than shrugged his shoulders, as he than continues to eat the Ice Cream he had in his hands. It didn't seem that important to him anyway. Samael than looked around, and saw that there is a Sea Gull above him. Samael looks up to see if the Sea Gull plans on doing something that he will not like at all. And thankfully, It didn't do anything. In fact, it left him alone. The Sea Gull simply flied away without any issue whatsoever, and did not both bother and Aliza in anyway, as Aliza spoke out.

"These treats are the best! Right, Samael?"

Samael looks at Aliza, and he giggled a little bit, as Aliza looked confused.

"Why so funny?"

Samael than spoke out.

"You got some of the ice cream above your lips. You kind look like you have a mustache right now."

This made Aliza confused, until he than held a mirror in her hands, and she blushed did embarrassment, as she than licked off as much as she can, before she than turned around, and shoved the Chocolate Ice Cream into Samael's mouth.

"Mph?"

Samael sounded confused, as she continues to forcefully feed the chocolate ice cream inside of Samael's mouth, with Samael being confused. As that happened, Sans looks at Samael and Aliza, and laughed at the sight that is before his very eyes, as Sans spoke out.

"wow, kiddos. you're sure having a very sweet time right now! hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!"

As that happened Papyrus reached with annoyance on his face, as he than spoke out.

"NYEH!!! SANS, WHY MUST YOU CONTINUE WITH THISE STUPID PUNS OF YOURS!!!"

Both Sans and Papyrus went into an argument again, as Samael was done eating the Ice Cream that Aliza game to him, as Aliza took Samael's Vanilla, and began to eat the rest of it. Needless to say, Samael never felt more embarrass than with what he is feeling at this moment. As Samael continues to look down at the Waffle Cone...suddenly...he saw something growing from within the insides of the waffle cone, teeth, as a voice spoke out.

"CONSUME..."

Samael shook his head, and looks back at the waffle cone again. Samael, not wanting to see it again, ate it as quickly as he possibly, before he than stood up, and looked around, as Aliza was finished with what she was eating, being Samael's Waffle Cone, which she had taken. She looks at Samael in the eyes, as Aliza than spoke out.

"Hey, Samael, want to have fun with the beach ball?"

Samael looks at Aliza and nodded his head, as he than spoke out.

"Why not."

3 hours past, and Samael and Aliza along with Sans and Papyrus, continued to have fun with the ball, with Aliza taking the turn first, as she hits her hand on top of the ball, as she than spoke our.

"Here, take this, Daddy!!"

She smacked at the ball, and it is thrown at Sans, who than used his own hand to punch it.

"Nope."

The ball was then sent to Papyrus, as he than spoke out.

"NYEH, MY TURN!!"

Papyrus than threw the ball at Samael, who than jumped up and smacked at it, sending it to Aliza, who than swung her hand and smacked the ball at Sans, who than decided to do something funny, and used his blue magic, and flung it back to Samael, and he got sent into the water, before he could react.

"Dad, you said you wouldn't use blue magic in the fun!"

Sans smiled and chuckled a little bit, as he than spoke out to Aliza.

"hehehehehehe. sorry about that, kiddo. i couldn't resist it."

While with Samael, he looks up at the sky, with an annoyed expression on his face, as he than spoke out to himself.

"Did he seriously just do that to me? Wow. That was so low for even him to do in this game."

Samael than put his feet onto the water, as he punched the ball back, as he than spoke out.

"I think I'm gonna...huh?"

Samael, as he looked down at his arm, looked confused, as he than thought to himself, as he notices that his arm is entangled on something, with a very firm grip.

"What the..."

Samael looks down, as he then yanked his arm...and what he saw disturbed him. Wrapped around his arm, are roots of what seems to be from a fungus, and why had mouths. Some of them burrowing into his arm and eating his flesh.

"Huh?!"

He than yanked his arm out, and the roots dropped down to the ground, as he looked down at it, only to see that the roots turn out to be seaweed. But he looked at his arms...and saw bite marks. Something is very wrong. He than looked down at his reflection, and he noticed something off. The reflection is not of the clothes that he is wearing. He is wearing the poor clothes that he had, back in the underground. The ruined jacket, bike shirt, and black liquid coming down his face, as Samael looked very horrified, as Aliza spoke out.

"Samael, are you okay?"

Samael looks back at Aliza, and he spoke out.

"Ah, yeah, I'm okay. Thought I saw something scary. Was just simply in my head."

Aliza looked a bit worried, but was happy to see that Samael is fine, as she spoke out.

"Well...that's good."

But than, Aliza's appearance suddenly flickered, and it really caught his attention.

Aliza's appearance quickly flickered between a sad and scary appearance, with a moth over her mouth, for about a split second for each, before she looks like what seems to be her normal self, and Samael looked as if he had just seen a scary ghost. Samael shook his head, as he looked at Sans and Papyrus, also began to flicker.

This is really bothering Samael, as he than spoke out.

"Ahh...mind if I can explore the Beach for a little bit, if you all don't mind?"

Sans than spoke out to Samael.

"sure thing kid. but you're sure you okay doing this all on your own?"

Samael nodded, as he than turned around and began to walk as far away as he can, but not before speaking out.

"Don't worry, I'll be with you guys as soon as I can. You guys can have fun without me."

Samael than walked away as far as he can, until he was out of sight, and than...he sat onto the bench, as he looked down at his hands, and he spoke out.

"What is happening to me...aren't...isn't that situation...all a dream?"

3 hours later...

Samael is back inside of his room, as he looks down at his bed, in his pajamas, and he felt very confused and disorientated, as the sun outside of the window began to go down, as he than spoke out to himself.

"I don't understand. I am seeing stuff, and they are so real. What is happening to me? Why am I seeing such scary stuff. This is supposed to be a fun day for me. Is this...not where I'm supposed to be?"

Than...a voice spoke out, one that he is familiar on hearing.

"No, you are not."

This made Samael flinch, as he looked at the mirror, as that is where the voice came from, and he looked up at the mirror...to see if there is anyone speaking to him. And sure enough...the reflection began to change. The figure of what is once his reflection became black, as dark as the night itself, and the clothes began to change, until he resembles the clothing that he had seen himself he worn back at the reflection in the water, and both the mouths and eyes began to glow white, as white glowing horns appeared on top of his hand, along with claws and a tail. Samael was horrified, as he spoke out.

"Devil. Why are you here?"

The Devil looked at Samael in the eyes, as he spoke out to him.

"You are kept truly in the surface. Did you honestly think of it all as a dream, the underground and the hunger? If so, than you are clearly more dumber than you can imagine. This is not a dream, what you were in before. What you were in now, is. This entire location is taking place inside of your head, because you baited into a trap by one of the infected. He is making you see stuff that you were not supposed to see...and yet...somehow...you managed to catch visions of the stuff that is really going on outside, and even now talk to me."

This made Samael stunned, as he cannot believe why he is hearing, as Samael than spoke out to the Devil.

"How can that be?"

The Devil smiled, as he than spoke out.

"I think it had something to do with your Determination. Because of how powerful you are, you became powerful enough to resist some of its effects. And I may have tried to use my own power o try and aid in it, so you can catch on. But right now, you need to get out of here. If you continue to stay inside of this place, you will be consumed by that mushroom guy, and you will not see Aliza again. And also...there is someone else that need your help once you get outside."

Samael than looks at the Devil in the eyes, as he spoke out.

"How do I get out, though?"

The Devil smiled, as he spoke out.

"Simple. The mirror that I am speaking you through...it is the lock. And you need to break it. And don't worry about getting hurt. This is a mental world. So the injury is not there. But for now...time to bust out. You ready?"

Samael looks at the Devil, and he is very confused as to why he is helping, and yet...he figures like he knows the answer, but doesn't realize it yet. So...nodding his head, he than spoke out

"On 3?"

The Devil nodded, as Samael stepped back, as he than spoke out.

1..."

The Devil spoke out the second number.

"2..."

Samael raised his fist, along with the Devil, as both than spoke out.

"3!/3!"

They both than punched the mirror and, then, the mirror began to crack, before it shattered...and as that happened...black infected fog began to fill the room, as Samael was caught full blast by it. But he than began to climb through the rocky tunnel, as the Devil grabbed his hand, and pulled him. back to the outside. 7 hours of being inside of a dream world.

"Mmmmmm..."

Samael groaned, as he than awoken from his nap. And he looked around himself. -. He sees that he has roots burrowed in his skin. And needless to say, they hurt as painfully as syringes all over the body. One of them is even about to enter the bottom eye lid of his right eye. Thinking fast, Samael bursts into flames, and burns the roots off, as he than stood up, and began to run around...only to see 2 people.

Sans was also taken and trapped as well, and he is not alone. Next to him, is a mushroom with a mouth filled with sharp teeth, and Sans began the speak out.

"i'm so happy, frisk."

Than, the mushroom entity spoke out.

"Me too."

Samael was stunned at the sight, as Chara flew next to him.

"Samael, you're awake! How did you get our?"

Samael turns to Chara and spoke out.

"No time for that. What am I dealing with, and who's that?"

Chara spoke out.

"That is Ragel, at least, I think that is him. He used to do some stuff such as Mushroom Dance, or something like that, but now it seems he is able to do something. We should leave Sans behind."

"No. Aliza can't survive without him."

This made Chara look at Samael like he's crazy, as Samael spoke out.

"I may be scared of her, but I am not letting my childhood friend die."

He than began to sneak behind Ragel...and than...he has his palm open...a blue fireball conjured in his hand, as Samael went behind Ragel, and tapped his shoulder. Ragel was confused, as he turned around, only to see the fireball in front of his face, as Samael smiled.

"Boom."

The sound of a powerful bomb erupted, as the area caught fire, and Sans was immediately pulled out from the Dream World, as he reacted in a panic.

"what the, what just happened? frisk?!"

Than, a voice spoke out.

"Daddy!!!"

Sans turns to see Aliza running to her, as she than hugged her father, as Aliza spoke out.

"Daddy, you scared me. I tried to call out your name, but I didn't hear you call back? What happened?!"

Sans was about to answer, but then, the sounds of footsteps were heard, and both Aliza and Sans turned to see Samael, holding an infected monster soul in his hand, before he than crushed it, raising his LV up to 12. Samael looked rather unamused, as Aliza spoke out.

"Samael, wait!!!"

Aliza ran towards Samael, but before she could as much as grab him, Samael made smoke appear before Aliza, as Aliza failed to grab him, and Samael slipped out of sight, and goes onto the next area, before Aliza could ever have a chance to see where it is in the direction that he had slipped onto...but as he did, as he continued to walk, he began to think to himself.

'That was insane. I nearly got consumed because I let my guard down. How long I was our first, I do not know, but I do know this.'

Samael looked back at where he had fled, as he than spoke out.

"I am not going to escape from reality like this ever again, no matter how painful it is. I need to stay here, so that I can fix this, and more importantly, so that I can save Aliza and her family, the one that truly cared for her. But for now...I hide."
