I think everyone comes across some sort of identity crisis at some point in their lives. The struggle comes in many different ways and different intensity levels but it all winds down to one question...

Who am I?

Who am I? What gives me value? What am I doing here on this earth?

Our identity lies in Christ.

Not in whether or not you make the winning shot at soccer this weekend. Not in whether or not you hit that high note in choir. Not in how many likes you get on social media.

In Christ. And Christ alone.

Christ gave us EACH talents. Yes, everyone, and I mean EVERYONE is talented.

Maybe you couldn't make varsity or even JV teams to save your life.

Maybe you don't have outstanding musical ability.

Maybe your drawings look like a kindergartner did them. (Aka me...XD)

But you can make people laugh till their sides hurt like no one else you know. Or you're a fantastic leader or problem solver. Those are talents!

I promise you, you have them. And maybe you are a great athlete, musician, or artist! But once you find your talents, the important thing is to pray to ask God how He wants you to use them.

I promise, His plan for you and your gifts is better than anything you could ever dream of!

So as you go through your life, trying to find out who exactly you are, remember the number one thing: Your identity lies in Christ. He loved you enough to humble Himself to human flesh and pay the price for our sins!
