The time on the alarm clock in a pale yellow and grey theme bedroom. On the bed was Ayato Aishi; he is a 17 year old second-year student at Akademi High School. Three weeks since he stopped going to school. About a month ago, his twin sister was arrested for the murders that took place, and to his own shock and horror when she was exposed as the murderer of Akademi, she simply laughed and pulled out a knife and slit the throat of a random female student next to her.

After Ayano was arrested, Ayato was bullied viciously by many of students who were friends or siblings of the victims. Ayano's friends: Kumi Demura and Midori Gurinishi were the only ones to talk to Ayato and make sure he was taken care of. Midori would bring and deliver Ayato's schoolwork to his homeroom teacher to which he has thanked them for that they didn't abandon him even if he told them that they might damage their reputations.

Kumi could care less about her reputation, and Midori can annoy the other students with her million and one questions. However, while most of the whole school bullies Ayato for his sister's crimes several other students have asked the two girls about Ayato and wanted to know where he lived. But neither one of the girls will reveal the Aishi resident.

Police have come to the Aishi resistance to question Ayato about his sister, and have searched the house to discover the shrine of a boy named Taro Yamada in Ayano's bedroom and on seeing the locked basement door, Ayato said he couldn't find the key. Much to the annoyance of some of the younger police officers but the older ones felt pity for the younger Aishi sibling who didn't know what his sister was doing. The trail was not until 6 months from now.

So in the meantime, she is in juvinall jail about 500 kilometers away from Tokyo.

When his parents found out, his mother was PISSED. While his father was upset he thinks things will be better for everyone if Ayano is far away.
Because of what happened, Ayato had lost his part-time job at a book store because of what his sister did.

At the moment, Ayato is in the kitchen cooking dinner for himself and Midori who came by to visit him after she got off of school. Kumi had to go home for a family dinner with her mother's boss and his family.

Ayato was laughing at something Midori said when there was a knock on the front door, which caused the pair to freeze up. Ayato had went to the door but Midori stopped him and rushed to the front door, and looked through the window next to the door to see two male students from Akademi High were outside.
Both had short black hair, pale skin and dark grey/black eyes and one of them being taller than the other.

Midori unlocks the door but leaves it cracked as she glares daggers at the two students. "What are you doing here? What do you want!?" Gone was the usual cheerful and preppy self and now was a more protective side to her.

The two males were Taro and Hanakō Yamada.

Midori knows of them because their sister, who is Taro's twin: Taeko, was hit by a car on the way to school and is still in the hospital that is owned by the Yamada family.
And as well as Taro's childhood: Osana Najimi was one of the people who were killed by Ayano.

Taro takes a deep breath, "We are hear to talk to Aishi-kun. Please, Gurinish-san. I just want to ask him if he knows about the reason why --" Taro gets cut off by Midori, who is better now beyond mad. "Why! Why!?! Aya-kun has suffered enough at the hands of the whole school and by the people in this town would glare or whisper mean things at him! He can't even leave his house and yet! People still blame him for NOT knowing what Yan-chan had been doing!! So no! Leave Aya-kun alone and never come back here ever again!" And with that, Midori slams the door shut in the Yamada siblings faces.

Midori turns around and heads to the kitchen where Ayato had turned back to the food where he was putting them on plates for him and Midori. Midori can tell that Ayato was crying but she doesn't bring it up and went back to her cheerful self, as she helped Ayato bring the food to the table. Before Midori can take her seat, Ayato pulled her in for a huge as he thanked her for everything she has done for him, to which the green haired girl told him that he didn't have to thank her as they were friends.
