A/N~ Happy Halloween everyone! I would have posted this earlier but it turned out a little longer than expected. To keep this note short and simple though I hope you enjoy this special chapter and don't be afraid to leave any suggestions/critiques for me in comments.~

A lot happened in the two years since Ace rescued you. And for the most part you loved every moment of it. Granted the fact that the Whitebeard crew had still lost in the war against Blackbeard seriously sucked but everyone was still alright.

But lately the need to throttle Teach seemed to really be stuck in Ace's mind so you had decided to try and talk to him about it.

Climbing up to the deck of the ship you found him in his usual spot leaning against the railing as he looked at the stars in deep thought. You didn't rush as you approached him and gently placed your hand over his to let him know you were there. Gripping your hand he didn't look at you, but you could see him relax as the tension was released in his shoulders.

"Hey. Thinking about it again?"

He just nodded in response as he gripped your hand a little bit tighter. A slightly tense silence overtaking the both of you.

After a couple minutes you sighed, which drew his attention to you. "You ever wonder how I seem to know so much about certain things?"

He cocked an eyebrow and waited patiently for your response. You proceeded to tell him everything about where you came from and how you knew so much about him and his world. And when you were done he stared at you incredulously while trying to process it all.

All you could do was nervously smile. "Yeah. I sound pretty insane don't I?"

It took him a moment before he replied with a simple "Yeah."

Then finally he gave you a soft smile and a quick peck on the forehead before asking. "So I was supposed to die. And since this "TV show," as you call it, followed Luffy, that means he's going to be the next King of the Pirates huh."

Grinning yourself you replied "Yep." While popping the 'p' at the end.

"Well then, since I'm still alive, I guess we better make sure that Luffy succeeds."

"Yep." You replied again in the same way. "And I've also got a pretty big surprise for you at that Halloween festival we're going to next month." He hugged you for a while before the two of you were called back below deck for dinner by Thatch and (f/n).

~A few hours ago on the Sunny~

Franky had been working on something in his workshop when the den den mushi started to ring. Taking a moment to pull up his welding mask he answered. "Hello?"

An excited female voice answered on the other end. "Hi! Is this the Strawhat crew?" He took a short pause before cautiously answering. "Depends on who's calling."

"A friend who like to thank your captain for their life two years ago." Said the female in a chirpy tone. Franky had them hold while he took the den den mushi up to the deck and called for the rest of the crew to gather around.

Once everyone was there, including their guest and ally Trafalgar Law, they were all saying their 'hellos' and 'nice to meet yous'. And the voice on the other end spoke up again "Alright guys. I've got a special surprise planned for Ace next month and I'm hoping that you can be there too. Especially you Luffy."

They waited with bated breath and some of them smiled at the idea as they heard more details. "So hope you all at least have some awesome looking costumes ready cause I can't wait to have some fun."

~At the festival~

You and Ace had decided to keep things simple with your costumes. Ace had decided to dress as a vampire while you were going as a sorceress. He looked great in the outfit (though it would take some getting used to since he now was actually wearing a shirt) and you couldn't help but marvel at the Yennefer inspired dress you were now wearing. Apparently neither could Ace...or Thatch...or Marco.

Next thing anyone knew you were practically slamming their jaws off the floor and back to their skulls before taking Ace's hand and dragging him off the ship to the festival on the island. "Come on Ace. As much as I like you staring we're going to miss out on all the fun if we stay here all night."

When you reached the outdoor area of the party the two of you were gazing every which way at the perfectly creepy decorations that were strung about the place. Finally while you were making a grab at a candy apple on a table you were greeted to an initially off-putting sight of a skull that was behind it. Suddenly the skull laughed a familiar 'yohoho' causing Ace to freak out and jump into your arms Shaggy and Scooby style.

You laughed as the rest of the Strawhats came out of the woodwork while Ace frowned at you for it. Each of them showing off their costumes. Your favorites had to be Luffy's werewolf and Usopp's Pinocchio ones. Before you knew it everyone had gone off in different directions to enjoy themselves at the various activities around the festival.

From the corner of your eye while at a food stall with Ace you caught sight of a person in a dragon mask walking by. This was your cue and you turned to Ace and asked "Ready for your surprise?" he was excited at the question and nodded.

Making sure to find and bring Luffy along you led the boys to a private area away from the partying. There a man in a blue suit and a shiny sapphire dragon mask was waiting. Ace looked at you confused while you made sure to silence Luffy from blurting out the person's name.

Finally the person spoke as he slowly removed his mask. "It's been a really long time, Ace. Sorry it took so long to get back to you and Luffy."

Ace stood there stunned as the familiar face in front of him registered in his mind before he started to tear up. And within the next few seconds he rushed over to him and embraced him while bursting into tears. At that moment you had let go of Luffy who then joined in on the hug.

Later when everyone else had gone and it was just you and Ace alone he was still wiping some tears away. Holding hands while walking along the shoreline he pulled you towards him with a twirl before pecking you with a dozen kisses. You giggled as he did this and when he finally stops he holds you close with his face buried in your hair and his vampire cape engulfing you.

"Thank you. You're the greatest girlfriend in the whole world." he whispered. "Your welcome." You whispered back. Then he drew back a bit. "I have a surprise for you too." You hardly had time to be confused as he withdrew something from his pants pocket and knelt on one knee. "Would you be willing to change your greatest girlfriend status to greatest wife?"

You threw yourself at him and kissed him as passionately as you could. The poor man struggled to make sure he didn't drop the ring in his slight shock.

Meanwhile in the bushes nearby (f/n), Thatch and Marco were watching the scene unfold. Thatch grinned while saying "Guess I better look through cake recipes." (f/n) on the other hand was crying in joy. "It's so beautiful my visions gone blurry" While Marco patted him on the back before heading to the two of you since you had found yourselves tangled up in Ace's cape and were now rolling toward the ocean.
