"A-agh…"

Akahana grumbled,before sitting up holding her head. Her sight was still adjusting,and it took her a minute to realize that she's in the school's infirmary.

She turned her head to look around,seeing Akiyo asleep beside her. He was laying his head on an open book,his arms sprawled out on the sheets with silent breaths coming out from his nose. A band-aid was applied to his cheek,and another near his head. Akahana's eyebrows slightly raised,then a smile formed across her lips.

She sat up,sighing. After she lost consciousness,she remembered the explosion from behind them. Clowns. Yeah. Now she had another reason to hate clowns. Not to mention,she's scared of them. She's just lucky to hide it from Akiyo.

Soon,Akiyo's eyes fluttered open. The fact that he fell asleep had just sank in his mind,before sitting up straight and fixing his messy hair.

"Mornin'." Akahana giggled slightly,watching him. Akiyo blinked,looking at her. The window was exactly behind her as she looked at him,and the sunlight's rays made it look like she's almost sparkling. And that smile ? It made her look so beautiful for a girl who just woke up.

His heart skipped a beat.

"Y-y-yeah… G-good morning…" Akiyo mumbled. Akahana smiled. "What happened while I was out ?" She asked. Akiyo sighed. "You were out for six hours. It was just fine for us to get back here in the academy." He shrugged.

"Oh…" Akahana gave a nod. Her eyes landed on the band-aids again,making her sigh. She leaned in close then examined the band-aid on his cheek,touching it slightly with her thumb. Akiyo looked startled,watching her and staying still.

She was talking,but he can't hear a word. Akiyo's heartbeat covered his own ears. It made him deaf over Akahana's words. He's wondering what's wrong with it. Like… Why ? It's not like he ran fast to have his heartbeat go that fast. He felt that way already. But it was over a year ago. When his ex-girlfriend answered him.

"No… That's not possible… I'm not going to fall for this booby trap again."

"Hey ! Are you listening ?!" Akahana pouted. Akiyo looked at him,then sighed. "Y-yeah…" He mumbled. Akahana smiled. "Okay. Well,I'm awake now and it's saturday today. Let's go home ?" She got out of bed,taking his hand. Akiyo quickly grabbed his book,before getting dragged by Akahana.

He watched from behind,before sighing.

"I'll do everything not to fall for that trap again… Never again."
