Kiss II
I opened me eyes to see the walls throbbing. I blinked, but the scenery didn't change. The walls were pink, purple, violet, and yellow. Same with floor. I stood up, confused as hell. I thought a whale swallowed us?
I looked up to see platforms above my head. This room was making my head spin, so I headed towards the only exit in the room. Stepping out of the pulsing room, I looked over a large area filled with broken wooden platforms and water. The walls looked like the inside if a large mouth, and it had a row of teeth on the front wall, confirming my suspicions. Guess a whale really did swallow us. Now, where was Akio?
I heard voices and looked down to see Akio standing on a ship that seemed to still be intact. She was talking to a little boy. He almost looked wooden. Was he a puppet? He pointed in my direction, but Akio didn't seem to notice me on the ledge.
"Akio!" I yelled. She looked up at in a surprise, a smile forming on her face. I opened a dark portal that led straight to her. I reached my arm through, grabbing Akio. I yanked her through the portal, and she stumbled into me. I held onto her hand, and she looked up at me, giggling.
"I was just talking about you," Akio said.
"Well, of course you were," I replied.
"Not like that," she said, punching me in the arm. "So, why are we inside a whale?"
"Hey, I didn't choose to come here."
"Where am I?" a new voice said. We peeked over the ledge we were standing on. I clenched my fists when I realized it was Riku. Akio kept her eyes focused on him, and I couldn't tell if she was checking him out or not. I was filled with hatred and jealousy, overcome with the feelings I had before. Back when Akio was with Riku, kissing him and flirting. Why does this always happen to me?
Even with her right next to me, I suddenly felt as if I was losing her. Again. Maybe Akio was never mine to begin with. I need to do something. I can't just let her think that we'll be "just friends" forever. I want her.
"Help! Help! Akio, help me!" the wooden boy yelled. I realized I had zoned out on what happened, but I did see Riku drag the puppet away. They seemed to be going deeper into the whale.
"Vanitas, can't we do anything?" Akio asked, fear laced in her voice. She seemed upset about what happened, and I felt bad for her. She met my gaze, and I felt my body shift closer towards her on instinct. Weird. I noticed something out the corner of my eye, and we turned to see the whale was about to open its mouth. I quickly covered Akio's mouth and nose, holding my breath as the oxygen left the whale, the air being sucked out into space. A strange, colorful object landed in the water, and the whale closed its mouth.
I released Akio, and we both took in a deep breath.
"Right there," I said, pointing at the foreign object. No sooner did Sora emerge from the ship, dazed. I turned to look at Akio, who stared at me with wide eyes.
"How did you know that we had to hold our breath?" she asked, shifting closer to me as well.
"I'm just smart like that," I answered, shrugging my shoulders. She smiled at me, and I saw her eyes look at my lips for just a split second. She looked behind me, them looked into my golden eyes again.
"Well, now I feel a little better," Akio said. "Hopefully, they save Pinocchio."
"C'mon, let's go," I said, standing up. She almost seemed sad to break away, but I grabbed her hand, pulling her up. I opened a portal, and we headed to the next world.
•••••
The portal opened up to a dark world lit by dim lights. We stepped out of it to see we were inside an area with a gate surrounding us. Tombstones were on the ground around us, dead grass sprouting up from the cobblestone path. A few jack-o-lanterns were sitting around, the candles inside making them look creepy and disoriented. I looked up at the large full-moon, in slight awe. I didn't let the rock in the sky distract me from the ghosts that seemed to float past me.
I looked down, noticing I was wearing a new outfit. I was dressed as a vampire king. I had on a dark, long-sleeve shirt that revealed a little more of my chest than needed, pants, and a navy blue and red cape. I silver crown was on my head, and I felt fangs in my mouth.
I looked over at Akio, loosing my breath. She looked good. As in, "Hello, want me to put a baby in you?" good. She was wearing a black, red, and navy colored dress that was shorter than necessary, showing off her long legs. White and black striped socks covered up the exposed skin, going all the way to her thighs. A dark cape flowed down to her ankles, and her combat boots had little spikes on them. A small, silver tiara was on her head, as well.
"Hey, are you my vampire queen?" I asked, flashing my pearly-white fangs.
"You wish," Akio answered, poking herself with her fangs. I laughed, creeping closer to her. I locked my eyes on her tender neck, feeling the sudden urge to sink my teeth into her flesh. She grabbed me by my collar, stopping me from getting any closer.
"Don't even think about it," Akio said, smirking. I growled, making her face become pink. She let me go, walking towards the gate. I followed after her, and we entered a town square.
A fountain was in the center of the square, buildings surrounding it. The fountain spurted green, murky water, and I made a mental note to not get near that water. More jack-o-lanterns sat on the ground, creating shadows on the cobblestone.
"This place is creepy," I muttered.
"Yeah, no kidding," Akio answered. She walked over to the fountain, sitting on the ledge. She crossed her ankles, setting her hands in her lap. She looked up at me, smiling and showing off her fangs. I wiggled my eyebrows, causing her to giggle again. I smiled a little, the sound of her laughter making something flutter in my stomach. Maybe now's the time to make a move on her. She's just sitting there. I'm just standing here. Why wait?
Before I could say anything, slimy hands reached up from the water, grabbing Akio's arms. They yanked her into the fountain, and I saw....something. I pushed that into the back of my mind, though, and ran towards the fountain.
"Akio!" I yelled. "The things I do for you," I huffed. I dived into the fountain, surprised that the current carried me most of the way. I swam as fast as I could, feeling the water seep into my clothes and skin. My lungs were starting to burn from the lack of oxygen, when my head finally broke through the surface.
"Ahh!" I yelled, tumbling in the water. I managed to crawl out of the water on a bank. I opened my eyes to see Akio looking over at me. She was dripping with sexiness, I, uh, mean, water. She was squeezing the water out of her hair. I felt my face grow red, quickly looking away from her.
"What? I'm guessing a soaking wet vampire queen is even more attractive?" Akio asked, catching me off guard. I pulled my self out of the water, shaking my hair.
(Yes, the famous Sora-shakes-wet-hair-while-looking-sexy scene XD)
"Uh, don't worry about it," I replied. I was starting to get dry already, surprisingly. So was Akio, and she wasn't taking no for an answer.
"Seriously, what is it?"
"Nothing."
"Vanitas?"
"Yea?"
"Tell me!"
"No!"
"Why not?"
"Because..."
"Because?"
"Just...don't worry about it."
"If you tell me, I'll do something for you. What do you want, munny? Potions?"
"Akio, let it go!"
"Tell me and I let you bite me!" Akio blurted out, her face flushed. We both took a second to realize what she just said, and I slowly grinned. Guess she really did want to know. Either way, it's a win for me.
"Fine. When you got pulled into the water, I saw your underwear," I said with ease, putting my hands behind my head. Akio's face became red as she turned her back to me and hiked up her skirt to see the, ahem, "Cutty Sark."
"Uh, I think you seeing that was payment enough," Akio said, pulling her puffy skirt down some more. She tried to walk past me, but I grabbed her hand, spinning her around so she was in my arms.
"Oh, no," I said, staring deeply into her beautiful eyes. "We had a deal." I put my face in the crook of her neck, but a new idea popped into my head. I could tell she was holding her breath, waiting for me to sink my fangs into her skin.
"How about," I whispered, "instead of biting you, I get to kiss you. It'll hurt less." I pulled back to see her face was burning, and she sighed before meeting my gaze.
"Fine. But, don't poke me with your fangs, and no longer than three seconds, at the most, okay?" Akio requested. I rolled my eyes at her.
"You're no fun," I whispered before kissing her deeply. She kissed me back, just as strong, and I was surprised. Probably from kissing Riku all the time gave her practice...
I growled, kissing her harder. I licked her bottom lip, and she suddenly pushed herself away from me. Too soon. I did it too soon, didn't I? I realized she was breathing kind of hard, and remembered that we still need air to breath. That was why, right?
Jeez, I need to calm down.
Instead, I smiled at her.
"You're not bad," I said.
"What did you expect?"
"You seemed like the type to be shy and nervous."
"I'm just glad you didn't try to get me in your pants," Akio said, giggling. I raised an eyebrow at her bold statement.
"Who says I wasn't?" I purred.
"Me!" Akio exclaimed, smiling. I suddenly heard footsteps. I was about to tell Akio when she pulled me back so that I was pressed against the rocky wall. I thought for a second she wanted round two, but quickly realized it was so we could stay hidden in the shadows. She hadn't moved her hands from my collar, which I was perfectly fine with. I rested my hands on her waist, and she looked up at me, blushing. I resisted the urge to kiss her again, but focused on the three heroes and their new companion, a tall skeleton.
They were headed towards a manor that I had just now realized was there. A few Heartless appeared, and Sora destroyed them all with one swipe of his Keyblade. She looked at me, and I nodded my head. I keep forgetting we're supposed to test out Akio's power and track Sora's progress. At least, that's what Xehanort told her.
I reluctantly removed my hands from Akio's waist, opening a dark portal. She let go of my collar, looking up at me.
"This better not lead to a bedroom," she said, walking ahead of me.
"Thanks for the idea," I said with a velvety voice, causing her to blush. I laughed, following after her.
