The weather is about as pleasant as Ineko's scowl.

She mutters curses but forced herself to stay still as she watches Ango wait in the rain, a foot tapping impatiently. She hides behind a stinking metal garbage bin, which is large enough to hide her figure.

The water drip, drip, drips down her face and underneath her shirt, but for once, she lies still as woman appears and looks around, before walking rapidly towards Ango. Ineko's maroon gaze pierces her in the back, making the woman look around uncomfortably and whisper something urgent though Ineko can't make sense of the words; constant drumming of the rain makes it hard to hear anything.

She moves out from behind the bin to in front of it; closer to the edge of the wall, a centimetre behind the edge of the shadow that hides her. Her crouched stance is making her legs go numb, but she promises herself that she will stretch afterwards.

"...Mimic... second meeting but nothing?!..." the woman is ranting out at Ango. She strains her ear to pick up Ango's response, but she still can't hear any coherent words. She moves forward until the shadow only hides half of her body. She will have to be extremely still for them not to notice her.

"We need him," the woman growls. Ineko frowns and continues to listen. "He needs to be the one!"

"There are ways of angering him," Ango says coolly.

She scoffs. "And how so?"

"Damage something precious to him."

Ineko bites her lip, tasting blood. She wants to wring Ango's neck right now, but the potential consequences are too risky and will probably result in her dead. She knows they are talking about Odasaku, because of what Dazai  informed her through Chuuya.

Ineko backs away slowly, attempting to retreat into the shadows.

And a loud clanging fills the air as the garbage bin lid falls off.

Ineko only spares a glance in their direction- both of their heads had snapped up and alarm filling the air- before sprinting down to the end of the dead end alleyway and climbing up over the walls onto the roof.

And so she runs, her head spinning with new information.

She's going to save Odasaku, even if it means throwing her life away.
