Hello my amazing reader! 

I am BEYOND thankful that you chose to read this book, and I will be forever grateful for your read and dedication to this book. 

This story is definitely unique since I chose random characters from the actual TV show to be featured in my little story. Some of the book probably did not exactly coincide with the timeline of the show(especially with Rossi still being on the team nearly twenty years later), but I really wanted to make a book that would compel readers like me and you! With that being said, I will address a few basic final questions and thoughts here. If you have any more questions, please comment! I will address them on here and tag you, so you know I answered your question.

When/where does this book take place?

The book takes place in Quantico, VA in the year 2032 besides most of the events being relatively similar to how it is now and in the show. 

Why did you chose certain characters to be in the story while kicking some out?

I included the characters who were most intriguing to me and others. I will admit that I had a long battle with myself when it came to including Matt Simmons or not. In the end, I decided against it. Please don't come at me lol. 

I brought Hotch back because come on ... what is Criminal Minds without that amazing man? (Also I may or may not have a massive crush on a fifty year old guy oops). The rest of the characters in my book are ones who remained on the show for most of its entirety. Don't get me wrong, Tara is cool, but I believed that she would not be a good addition to this book. Finally, Morgan. I originally thought I had him written down, but I didn't!!! I was already knee deep into writing, so it was too late to alter everything to fit him in. Don't worry, I still love Morgan too!!

How long did this book take to write?

This book took me almost four months to write ( I strived to post a chapter once a week), even though it felt like a few weeks.

Why did you write this book since it differs from most of the other books on your account?

I finished watching Criminal Minds mid-August, and I honestly felt so sad. I could not stop thinking about the final scene of the show and the cast the came and went as the show went on. I was so attached to the show and the characters that I actually sat down and started typing out a storyline. . . one that would reach 900 reads by late December! I typed, and I finally came up with the idea of Hotch and Emily together. It blossomed from there. All in all, writing this story was a way to accept the ending of Criminal Minds, and it allowed me to take a bit of a breather and really think about the show. Now, I am aiming to rewatch it after finishing up a couple other shows!

Honestly, this is all me wanting to answer this question, but I actually have a picture that is exactly how I imagined Bridget Hotchner. I actually used both Hotch and Emily to create her electronically. I think she is a perfect mix of her parents, and I think Bridget looks exactly how her personality is portrayed in the book.
