Niall's P.O.V

All I can say after yesterday's events is BEST FRICKING BIRTHDAY I'VE EVER HAD SO FAR. I enjoyed celebrating it with the lads. I loved the food, the laughs we shared, the food, Liam licking my entire face in his wolf form, the food...yeah, my favorite part is Liam licking my face like a dog. Wait, he is a dog. No-wolf! Dog sounds too offending. Well, he kind of resembles a puppy. A really really big puppy. I love puppies.

Well...enough of my love for Liam Werewolf James Payne, I must get up and see what's for breakfast.

I opened my eyes, only to be blinded by the bright sun light coming from the open window in the living room-woah wait. Living room? Oh yeah! I forgot. After the party, we all passed out in different places except our own rooms. I, apparently, fell asleep on the carpet. Liam is still snoozing on the couch. Harry is sprawled out on the coffee table, and Louis is fast asleep on the recliner.

Would it be mean to wake someone up because you're hungry and can't cook for shit? It probably isn't cause I might die of starvation and it'll be their fault cause they're busy sleeping while I'm busy dying...oh well, better wake up the best cook I know.

"Harry...Haaaaarryyyyyyy. H!" I whisper-yell into the witch's ear but he doesn't wake up. Maybe I should try Liam? Yeah, I bet he can cook.

I walked over to Liam, caressing his cheek-it's not weird!-and admired his beauty. He's so cute and peaceful... It would be rude to wake him up.

Guess all I have is Louis now. Does he even cook?

"Hey Louis...vampire dude...guy who secretly admires Harry-"

"What the frick are you doing?" I jump at the sudden voice, looking up to find Louis staring at me weirdly.

"Well? Answer me."

Damn he's demanding af.

"I was trying to wake you up." I replied. He gave me a confused look which I mimicked cause why tf is he confused? "Niall, you know I don't need sleep, right?"

"...then why were you-?"

"Just resting my eyes. Even though I don't die from sunlight it still bothers me."

Oh...makes sense.

"But I'm hungry."

"Not my problem." He sassily says back, crossing his arms. What crawled up his ass? I thought he was finally warming up to us from how he acted yesterday. I don't understand this boy.

"What's wrong with you?"

"Me?" Louis points to himself with an offended expression. I nodded, continuing, "like, just yesterday you were having fun with us and even licked icing from Harry's nose-"

"You saw that?"

"No, I read it." I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes. Who wouldn't notice Harry's face looking like a fricking tomato? "Wait, don't dodge the question! Why are you back to being cold again?"

Louis looked at me, his eyes going wide like he just saw a ghost. Lol I am one-wait! Not the time for laughs, Niall. I raised an eyebrow at Louis and he quickly shakes his head, standing up from his seat, muttering, "it's complicated." Then just left with his vampire speed.

Oh fuck.

Harry's P.O.V

"Wait, Louis! Come back!" A voice shouts, causing me to jolt awake and fall off of the coffee table. Why'd I pick that place to pass out on again? Eh, doesn't matter.

I rubbed my eyes sleepily, stretching my limbs as I yawned, then spot Niall looking at me with a nervous smile.

"O-oh..hi, H! Good morning!" He says, eyes avoiding my gaze.

What's up with him?

"Good morning to you, too, Ni." I greeted back, looking around the room. "Hey, didn't I just hear you calling out for Louis? Where'd he go?"

"Yeah, um...he sorta...ran away?"

Wait what?!

"Why did he-? He can't! What about the prophecy? We can't do it without him! Heck, we don't even know what we're up against!" Louis can't leave. We need him... I need him-I mean, nothing.

"Harry calm down, I'm sure he'll be back. He probably just needs to recollect himself. He was being cold again awhile ago so I asked him why but he didn't answer and just left." Niall explained, reassuring me that Louis will come back. Not that I'm worried about him. I am though. But it's because of the prophecy, nothing more.

Liam soon awoke from his slumber a few minutes after, asking us where was Louis, and Niall telling him what happened while he was fast asleep, also adding in that he was hungry.

"Okay, how's about I fix us up some breakfast?"

I get a loud, happy shout of a "YES!" from Niall and a simple "sounds good." From Liam before I headed into the kitchen to prepare our food.

The whole time while I was frying eggs and bacon, toasting bread, and setting all I've prepared on the table, I thought of Louis. Like, has he eaten yet? Is he okay? Is he coming back?

I really hope he's fine.

I didn't even notice Niall waving his hand in front of my face until his voice snaps me out of my thoughts.

"Harry!"

"What?" I blurted out, looking at him questioningly. He chuckled at my reaction and patted my back, saying, "don't worry, H. Louis' fine. Maybe he's out feeding or something, I don't know, but I'm positive he'll be back."

I don't know what came over me. I mean, why can't I be chill like Niall and Liam are with this situation with Louis? It's normal to be concerned for him, right? I might just be over thinking.

Liam walked in just as I finished pouring orange juice into our glasses. He took a seat next to Niall, who was already digging into his food, and gestured for me to join them.

Louis is fine.

He'll come back.

Ugh...I need to stop worrying. I'm only concerned for him because he's my friend, er, kind of. Not sure if I should label us as friends when we haven't discussed it yet.

"Harry, better start eating your food before Niall eats it." Liam says jokingly, receiving a playful glare from Niall.

"I'll just eat yours then." Before Liam could protest, Niall grabbed a piece of toast from Liam's plate, munched on it before giving it back to Liam. "Tastes good, thanks."

I couldn't help but laugh at Liam's face along with Niall. Might as well enjoy breakfast to forget about Louis.

Louis' P.O.V

Fuck. I messed up. I shouldn't have left in the first place. I mean, I can't really leave them when we're a part of a prophecy together. But, ugh!!! This is so frustrating! If I start to care about them and they begin to care about me, too, we'll all get hurt! All because I can't trust myself to have control over my thirst.

I've tried not drinking blood for a few days. It was a stupid thing to do because I ended up killing a whole village. That's the worst part of being a vampire. Even if you don't want to drink blood, your inner instinct will come out and force you to drink for the sake of your thirst. All those innocent people I've killed didn't deserve to die...and I hate myself for what I've become. Hell, I'm better off dead! Wait-who am I kidding? I already am! And I'm a danger to everyone who so much as comes close to me.

I sighed heavily, slumping down more against the tree I'm leaning on while staring out into the woods. I wasn't far from Harry's cabin, maybe like, a kilometer away? Even as far as I am I could faintly smell Harry's scent. Not that I find Harry's scent amazing...it is actually. Wait- why did I pick Harry's scent? Ugh, doesn't matter. I need to feed.

My eyes scan my surroundings, ears listening intently for any sign of movement coming from an animal. I hear rustling from my right and I narrowed my eyes to where I heard the noise. Focusing on my prey, I ran with my vampire speed and tackled the animal down. It being a deer. With a little struggle, I managed to sink my fangs into the unfortunate deer's neck and satisfy my thirst. Once I've almost completely drained it, I dropped the, now dead, deer to the ground and wipe my mouth with the back of my hand. That'll be enough to satisfy me for at least two days.

All of a sudden, I hear footsteps and voices approaching me. I hastily climbed up a tree, hoping the branch I'm on won't break anytime soon. Down below I was met with the sight of two grown men, both seeming to be in their early Thirty's, conversing with each other before their attention was brought on to the dead body of the deer.

"Shit. This kill seems to be fresh." Says the first man.

"We better head back to the village and tell them not to go through these parts of the woods, who knows what predator did that." The second man points to the deer. His companion looks closely and gasps at the two bite marks on the deer's neck. "Whatever it is, it's dangerous and should not be messed with."

"Let's go." After hearing their footsteps disappear, I jump back down to the ground, glancing at the dead animal I killed before heading back to Harry's cabin.

They're right. I am dangerous.

Liam's P.O.V

Me, Niall and Harry were currently going through a few books Harry had stored under his bed. He says he didn't display them on his bookshelf cause there wasn't any room for them and also because they were quite old. Exactly the kind of books we need.

After having breakfast awhile ago, I asked Harry if he had any books that could possibly have a prophecy in them. He said he did have a few books that were kept by him that he never finished reading and just brought them out. So, while I flipped through a book, Niall and Harry do the same but with different books as well, I tried looking for something that might help us with finding out what the prophecy is, better yet tell us what it actually is.

"Woah! This book has so much food spells in it!" Niall exclaimed happily.

Harry peeked over to see what the ghost boy was hungrily looking at and saw the book's cover, giggling when he says, "that's because it's a cook book, Ni."

"Even better!" I stared fondly at the blonde boy, a smile making it's way to my face. I almost forgot what I was doing before Harry suddenly shoved a book in my face.

"Liam, look! Do you think this is our prophecy?"

"Ooh lemme see, too!"

Niall sat beside me on my right and Harry on my left and the three of us read where Harry's finger was pointed at.

"Hold on, I don't understand?" My eyebrow arched at the weird writing on the book.

"Who the fuck wrote this book? A three year old?" Niall says, also not understanding what it says.

Harry pursed his lips in concentration, staring at the book like he's trying to solve a riddle. "I don't...- I don't know what kind of ancient writing this is. All I know is that the title says The Prophecy." He confesses.

Well, there goes our only chance of knowing what we're involved in.

The door suddenly opened and all eyes were glued on Louis who walked in and stopped when he noticed our stares. "What?"

"Louis! You're back!" Harry cheered, standing up from the couch and was about to hug Louis before he stopped himself and sheepishly scratched the back of his neck, his cheeks turning red. "I-umh..hey, you're back."

"Yeah..." Louis' eyes travel to the books scattered on the coffee table then to the one in my hand. "What's going on?"

"Oh, we're just trying to find out what this says cause we think it might be the prophecy we're in." Niall answers, taking the book from me and tossing it over to Louis. "See? it doesn't make sense, right?"

We all stared at Louis, watching him scan the writing carefully before he spoke up, "that's because it's written in Old Vampire Latin."

"I've never heard of that.." Harry muttered, then looked at Louis. "Do you know what it says?"

"Emh, I could try?"

So we all gathered around Louis, watching over his shoulder and waited for him to translate what's written on the book.

"Time to put my eavesdropping to good use."

Ending it here cause it's already past 2000 words which is great! ^~^
