Chapter~6
It's time.
Four brothers.
Unite.
Each boy was born with a special birth mark of the moon located at the left side of their necks. It will serve as their guides to find each other. The marks will glow brighter and brighter until they've been united.
Judging by how Niall's birthmark gleamed, he was close to one of his brothers. He took uncertain steps to the left and found his mark glowing brighter every step he took, so that's where he's headed, sprinting off.
Liam changed back into his human form, already noticing the glow of his birthmark. And like it was on instinct, he ran off into the direction of the woods. He didn't know if it was his wolf senses bringing him there or another sort of magnetic pull, but he just knew it's where he's supposed to be going.
Though Louis was hesitant in following whatever it is he'll be met with, he had no choice. He needed to control his blood thirst or else he'll mess up everything. He was afraid of what's to come. It'll either be him that'll be in danger or he himself was the danger.
The excitement Harry felt was about to swallow him whole if he doesn't start his journey sooner. So, without wasting another second, he lifts himself off the ground with his dark magic, floating a few feet off the the earth's surface while his eyes glowed a faint purple. He was ready to meet whoever it is he'll be seeing, and he hoped they would get on really well.
It wasn't long till Harry had halted to a stop at a wide clear area, and right in the middle of it was a circle with four smaller ones inside and a few symbols here and there. Was he supposed to step on one of them?
"Woah..." A voice suddenly spoke. Harry's head snapped to where it came from, his eyes landing on a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes.
This is the first time in a long while since Harry had seen another being this close. Not from a mile away or from a good distance afar. The boy was only a few feet away, not at all terrified to be that close to him. Maybe he didn't know what he was yet.
Come on, Harry. This is your chance to finally make friends. The witch encouraged himself.
"Hello." He waved awkwardly. Not knowing how to act in front of someone after being alone for 5 years.
Blondie froze in his spot, shock written all over his face.
Oh no...
Harry panicked in his mind. Was the boy going to run away? Try to kill him? He didn't know what, he just knew that he'd messed up with the whole making friends thing.
"You can see me?"
That question got Harry to look at the now confused looking boy, resulting for him to have the same expression.
What did he mean?
"Uh...yeah? Why wouldn't I?"
"Because I'm dead!" He suddenly shouts, causing Harry to go silent and stare at him with wide eyes.
Niall realized how loud his voice came out of his mouth, and how wrong his words sounded. Clearing his throat, he scratched the back of his neck and looked at the curly haired boy in front of him apologetically.
"Sorry..that umh..was rude of me."
Harry flashed him a weak smile, sensing the uneasiness and nerves the blonde felt.
"It's okay."
The two were starting to warm up to each other already.
"Er..I'm Harry." The witch introduced, extending his hand out for a shake.
"I'm Niall."
The blonde slowly reached out for the witch-Harry's hand, and was speechless when his hand didn't go through his, and actually made contact.
"Oh my god..." Niall suddenly let out a joyful laugh, then pulled Harry in for a hug.
He didn't go right through him.
Harry was still left confused, so Niall began to explain.
"You see, Harry. I'm a ghost." The blonde gestured to himself.
Harry arched an eyebrow, but nodded.
"I know, you're just as confused as I am, but please believe me. I am invisible to the world!-well, except from you, as I've learned just a few minutes ago."
The serious face Niall had on while speaking convinced Harry that he wasn't joking at all.
"You're really dead?"
"Yep, but alive."
"Cool." Harry complimented with a smile. "I'm a witch." He suddenly blurted out, face palming internally then searched Niall's face for any sign of fright. But there wasn't.
"That's wickedly awesome! I heard witches could do all these cool spells and stuff and-hey, can you conjure up food?"
"Uh..yeah?" Niall's face lit up at that, wanting to tackle curly in another hug but was cut off by the sound of running feet.
Both the witch and ghost turned to their right, their eyes focusing on a figure with brunette hair and hazel eyes that resembled a puppy's.
"Hi!" Niall greeted loudly, waving his hand. It caused the boy to jump in surprise, but came to approach the two strangers.
"Are you two here because of the moon? Cause that's why I'm here." The brunette spoke, eyeing both people in front of him.
Niall was cheering in the inside because OH MY GOD TWO PEOPLE CAN SEE AND HEAR ME!!!
"Yup." Harry nodded, along with the beaming blonde. "I'm Harry, a witch. And this is Niall, he's a ghost."
"Nice to meet you two. My name's Liam, I'm a werewolf." Though Liam was the shy type, he easily managed to become a tad open because of how nice and friendly Harry and Niall were being.
"Woah! Can you turn into a wolf?!" Harry face palmed at Niall's dumb question. But Liam simply laughed, nodding his head. He already liked the blonde one.
"Sure can."
While Niall awed at the werewolf boy in amazement, Liam slightly gushing, Harry heard the sound of a branch breaking. Looks like he wasn't the only one who heard because now the three of them were back to back, scanning their surroundings for any sign of danger.
But as soon as their eyes fix on a boy having feathery brown hair and striking icy blue eyes, they all focused their attention on him.
"Who are you?" Niall asked questioningly.
"None of your business." The boy spat at him rudely. Already, Niall and Liam didn't like his attitude. But for Harry, well, he was too busy gazing at the blue eyed boy. Who could blame him? He was drop dead gorgeous!
"Umh, actually, it is. You were brought here by the moon, too, am I right?" Liam tried arguing back, not pleased with how he's treating his new found acquaintance.
Louis rolled his eyes, not liking the brunette boy already. But he was right. "Fine. It's Louis."
Louis...
"What a wonderful name."
Louis, Liam and Niall all turn to the curly haired boy, each giving him a look as to say 'what?'.
"What?" Harry asks them innocently.
"You just said this guy's name was wonderful." Liam pointed to Louis.
"So? It's true. Just like his face."
Oh...shit
"I mean! No! It's not-ugh.." A small blush coated the witch boy's cheeks from admitting what was supposed to be just in his head, but ended up aloud. He sometimes spoke his thoughts out loud, like when he had his first intuition, but it was his own thoughts, not something involving the future's happenings.
Louis only stared at the boy in amusement. Nobody has ever told him that before. And it made him feel a certain emotion inside. Yet he must keep up the mean and heartless persona he's portraying to be. He doesn't want to hurt them and feel guilty after.
"Oh...kay? Now that we're all here, what now?" Niall decided to change the subject.
Four of them gave one another questioning looks before staring at the sky, the moon still shining bright as day light.
"There are smaller circles around the big one we're in, maybe we should stand on them?" Harry suggested. It was the only thing they could try, so they all went to a circle, Niall at the east side, Liam west, Harry north then Louis south.
"Uh...nothings worki-" Niall gets cut off when the biggest circle began glowing around them. Next were the different symbols and lastly, the smaller circles they stood on.
All four boys watched in amazement, a fairly strong breeze blowing around them causing their hair to become disheveled.
Harry felt a sharp pain in his head, eyes rolling back and he knew he's having another intuition. He had no control over his body and mind while he had this future telling ability.
The other boys, not knowing what was happening with the curly haired boy, stared at him with concern when he finally spoke up in a monotone voice.
"The moon will shine brighter on the night four heroes rise,
Each born on different years, yet on the same exact time,
They'll unite with each other, let their stories be told,
The prophecy predicted, shall now be unfold."
After that, everything halted to a stop. The wind disappeared, lights on the symbols gone, and moon no longer in sight as it was covered by clouds.
Harry returned back to normal, falling to his knees with a hand pressed against his forehead.
"Harry, what happened?" Said Liam as he, Niall and Louis ran to his side.
"Yeah..that was the second time I've had an intuition. Still gotta get used to it." Replied the witch boy, wobbly standing up on his feet with the help of Niall.
"An intuition? So, what you said awhile ago.." Louis trailed off, his brain trying to process what it meant.
"Yup." Harry gave a short nod. "We were basically destined to find each other."
Louis stared at the three other boys in front of him, names still unknown while they already knew his. A glimpse of the sun's day light peeked from the thick trees, signalling it was finally morning.
"I don't know about you guys, but we need to go." Liam states, gesturing to the rising sun in the horizon. "Problem is, where?"
An idea popped into Harry's mind.
"How about we stay at mine? It's not too far from here, and no human would dare venture there, so we're safe." Harry hoped they'd agree. Pleading in his mind they'll say yes.
His wish was granted when the three said "sure" In unison. They didn't have anywhere else to go in the first place. So off they went. Following the witch boy back to his lonely cabin that soon won't be as lonely now that he had company with him.
Okay that was a good start, right?
He he, hope it wasn't THAT bad already. But thoughts? Please.
