"When do we strike, Mr Cowell?" Taylor asks, looking at her boss.

"In a moment." The man answers, his gaze fixed on the city beneath them.

Soon, they shall attack and reign over the humans.

For centuries he's been waiting for the time he finally gets to take over the human world. And during the long wait, he's managed to find allies that have as much hatred for the humans as him.

First on the list is Taylor, a blonde headed Valkyrie. Quite possibly his strongest minion on his team.

Second is Arthur, a vampire with anger issues.

Then there are Justin, Bella, and Cameron. Three shape shifters able to turn into jaguars.

He may not have many minions but really, he doesn't need them. Just needs people to take care of the little companions the apparent "heroes" have along with them.

Psh, he doubts they'll be able to stop him. They easily took out one of their members. Taking over the human world will be a piece of cake.

Shawn was just about to get up from his seat after a minute from when Niall called out for Liam when shouts were heard from afar.

"U-uh, what's that sound?" Kendall looks at everyone in the room nervously.

All of a sudden, explosions were heard, but they seemed too far to have been blown up in the forest.

That just means...

"THE CITY IS UNDER ATTACK!!!"

"SOMEBODY PLEASE!! HELP!!!"

"NO PLEASE DON'T HUR-AGGGHHHH!!!"

Ed, the girls, with Niall and Liam came running to the living room, shock written on their faces.

"The prophecy..."

"It's begun."

Niall shakes his head, his eyes shut tight, "no no no no no! Why now? Harry isn't healed yet and Louis is gone! We can't do this- Li we- no we can't-"

"Babe...shhh, calm down." Liam soothes, wrapping his arms around the ghost boy as he rubs circles on his back, "complete or not, we have to fight. Innocent people are dying out there."

Ed signals for everyone to get ready, then turns back to Niall, "prophecies are never wrong. We'll beat them, mate. And save the humans."

The blonde sniffs one last time and wipes away his tears, a determined look on his face, "let's go save some lives then."

Jesy checks on Harry one last time before joining the others outside, walking over to Ed and asking, "you think the lad will wake soon?"

The ginger haired warlock nods, "the blood bags are almost empty. And the added strength we've given him should help his recovery faster. He'll wake up and eventually see the note I placed near his pillow telling him what's happening and where we are."

"Alright."

"How about Louis?" Jade sadly questions.

"I don't know. I just hope he's okay..."

The minute they step foot on concrete instead of forest soil, people began screaming louder.

"OH NO THERE'S MORE!"

"WE'RE DOOMED!"

Niall quickly turns down their assumptions by saying, "NO! PLEASE STOP SCREAMING! WE'RE HERE TO HELP!"

But no one stops and continues running around maniacally, lost and scared with the situation unfolding before them.

Simon and his gang are farther ahead, but Liam and Shawn could sense their presence.

"Why aren't they listening to me?"

"Niall... I hate to be the one who tells you this but, they probably don't see you." Leigh Anne informs.

"...oh." Niall looks down sadly.

"But hey! That's a good thing. Means you can easily sneak up on the enemy without people blowing off your cover."

That made Niall feel a lot better, and he thanks Perrie with a smile.

"Alright, I just used my powers to get info on our enemies." Ed speaks, and points to each one as he tells them their names and what they are, "Niall and Liam's main target is Simon, the warlock. He's the one who planned this a hundred centuries ago."

"Wow." Cara whistles, "he's ooooooold!"

Katy smirks, "I'm up for clawing some butt." then shifts into a tiger.

Shawn and Liam glance at each other before turning into wolves.

Niall gives them a quick thumbs up and poof! he's behind one of the enemies.

"Attack!!!"

Louis doesn't know where he is, but one thing for sure is that he's close to civilization.

Snap!

He turns around hastily, not liking the fact he might have been followed by the others. But when he looks down to find a little girl with blonde hair, he stumbles back and falls on his bum.

"Oh! Mister, are you okay?"

"Please, stay away from me..."

"But you might have an owie. Here, let me see!"

Before he could protest, the little girl has kneeled beside him and makes a quick inspection.

"Hmm, I don't see anything wrong. So you're okay!" She cheers.

Louis smiled warily, looking at her then to their surroundings.

"What's your name, mister? I'm Lux!"

He hesitates but gives in to the cuteness of the girl, "my name's Louis."

"Hi Louis, can we be friends?" She asks with a hopeful smile.

And who's Louis to say no to that?

"Uh, sure-"

"YAAAYYYY!!!"

The vampire lad cringes at her loud squeal, afraid that it would attract unwanted attention.

"Shhh...please keep it down, love."

Lux notices the unease in her new found friend's voice and shuts her mouth, saying more quietly, "oops, sorry Louis."

They sit there for awhile, awkwardly looking at their feet or fiddling with their hands when Lux decides to break the silence.

"What are you doing out here, Louis?"

"I-..."

Well, here goes...

"I uh, left my friends."

"Oh? Why did you do that?" A curious look comes across the girl's face.

A lump forms on Louis' throat as he began to tell her, "I...did something very bad to one of them."

"Ooh! Is that friend someone you love?"

Louis blushes as Lux giggles.

"Y-yeah, you can say that."

"Then you should go back and fix things between you two." The girl says like it's the most obvious thing in the world.

"It's not that easy, love. He probably hates me for what I did. All my friends probably do, too." Thinking about it now, he feels guilty for leaving them.

"What's his name?"

"Harry." He says, a small smile on his face.

Lux sees the tiny bit of happiness when he says the name and she coos, "he must really mean a lot to you."

"How would you know?"

"It's kind of obvious. Louis, you gotta make things right with Harry."

"I'm too afraid to-" he gets cut off.

"Don't let fear be the one stopping you from being with the one you love."

Louis stares at Lux with amazement. How can someone so young be so wise?

"Did you get that from a movie or something?"

"Yeah, why?"

Well, that explains it. But she's right.

He can't keep running away from his fear.
