A week had passed and the lads had only managed to gather Ed, the girls, a shape shifter named Katy, another werewolf named Shawn, and two vampire girls named Kendall and Cara as their comrades who will be joining them in their battle with those evil creatures.

They don't even know who their rivals are or what they're capable of.

But they're about to find out soon.

Currently, Niall is chatting up a storm with Shawn (but it's mostly Niall doing the talking), with a jealous looking Liam sitting next to him. Katy had gotten along with Perrie, Jade, Jesy and Leigh Anne as the five of them now gossip and giggle together.

Cara and Kendall, well... The two vampires are too busy making out in a corner to socialize with the group.

Harry laughed aloud at something Ed said, quickly covering his mouth because of the sudden sound leaving his mouth.

"Just laugh, H!" The ginger warlock nudges him playfully, "no one's judging ya."

You see, everyone's busy and occupied.

Everyone except Louis.

The vampire lad felt so out of place. With so many thoughts in his mind. And he's so. Fooking. Thirsty.

He hasn't went out to feed for almost a full week. He can't last long. Especially when Harry's scent is so strong right now.

He needs to go.

"H-Harry?"

The witch boy looks up to meet Louis' gaze, and instantly senses the uneasiness in his voice, "yeah, Lou? What's wrong?"

"Nothing it's just- I'm heading out. Just for a bit. I need to- uh, you know..."

"Oh."

"Yeah..." Louis scratches the back of his neck.

"You can go, Louis. Just- be careful, yeah?"

The vampire nods, "I'll be back."

Harry watches Louis leave using his vampire speed before turning back to Ed, who had a smirk on his face.

"You fancy him, don't you?"

The question caught Harry off guard, "W-wha? No! Where did you get that idea?" He looks around nervously.

Ed rolls his eyes, "H, you're a really bad liar."

"How would you know that?"

"Cause it's obvious you like Louis! And based on my observation, he likes you back."

"That's preposterous!"

Louis doesn't like me. Harry says in his mind. He can't. He won't. But...what if?

"Why don't you two talk it out like Niall and Liam?"

Oh yeah and before anything else, Niall and Liam are finally dating. It happened four days ago when Niall accidentally confessed his feelings for Liam, so the werewolf as well did the same and now they're together.

"He probably won't want to. He doesn't even want to be close with us. I don't understand."

"That's just it, Harry. If you try to get him to open up, then, and only then will you understand why."

Harry shrugs. He does have a point.

"Maybe...once he's back."

"Trust me. It'll be worth it." Ed pats his witch friend on the back, earning a smile from Harry, "thanks for the advice, man."

"Anytime, H."

Louis' P.O.V

I wander aimlessly around the woods, focusing on looking for something to relieve my thirst instead of feeling like a total outcast from the gang.

My eyes scan the surroundings, finding no source of life yet.

Great... I think sarcastically.

I sigh, rubbing my dry throat. Where have all the animals gone?

"Look who we have here." An unknown voice says behind me. I turn around with fangs on full display and find a guy with greying hair, beside him was a girl having blonde hair and on his left was a guy with black hair.

"Who are you?!" I demand.

"You don't know?" The blonde girl asks with a smirk, "thought you've heard of us already to be honest. Prophecy ring a bell?"

Shit.

No.

"You're the enemy..." I say more to myself, realization hitting me that I'm actually face to face with the people who are supposedly planning to take over to the human world.

"Ah, that's right. Now, unless you want your friends to die I suggest you come with us."

Wtf?

I growl and take a step back, "I'm not foolish enough to fall for your trick!"

The black haired guy chuckles.

"But you're an idiot for going out here alone."

All of a sudden I'm being pinned to the ground by someone who caught me off guard and I could only struggle in their grasp as the older man walks over to me and kneels down, lifting my chin up so I could look at him.

"You'll do anything to keep your friends safe, won't you? Let's see how you can do that when the person trying to hurt them is you."

Just as he finishes, I feel something being injected into my neck and I scream at the pain it's sending through my whole body.

Last thing I remember was them tying me against a tree before I blacked out.

Harry's P.O.V

I anxiously pace around my room with Ed trying to calm me down but it's no use. I'm panicking!

Louis' been gone for hours! He should've been back by now! What if something happened to him? What if he left us?

"Harry! H! Listen to me!"

"What?!" I shout, whipping my head to him, "Louis could be in danger, Ed! We can't just sit here acting as if we aren't about to have a battle to protect the human world!"

Ed sighs, walking over to me,"I know, I know. But it's late-"

"That won't stop me from finding him."

"Er... fine."

I smile at my ginger friend before making my way to the door, "make sure things are in order here, okay? I won't be long."

"If you're not back by midnight we'll come look for you."

"Okay." I nod, leaving him alone to find Liam and Niall who were in the kitchen.

"Hey, H. Louis not back yet?" Asked Niall. I shake my head with a "no" and the two of them exchange worried looks.

"Guys, it's fine. Maybe he got lost or something?" I try to lighten the mood but deep down I'm fearing the worst, "I'll go look for him. And if I'm not back by twelve you guys can come look for me."

"Umh, okay. You sure it's safe to be out by yourself?" Liam hesitantly asks.

"I know these woods like the back of my hand." I reassured him.

"Well, alright. Be safe."

"Thanks guys. And I will!" I wave at them before leaving my cabin.

Now, where do I look first?
