Werewolves

Normal human being by day, big, furry wolf at night.

That is what Liam is.

He struggled to live near humans because of his...condition. So the brown haired bloke was forced to move out of his home in the village where he stayed. For the sake of other's safety, and his own.

Did he choose to have the life he has now?

No.

But did he really have a choice when his whole family was murdered by a pack of werewolves just as they were heading back from their very first, and sadly the last, family picnic?

Liam had only been about 7 years old when he witnessed the bloody death of his family. He thought he would suffer the same faith as them. But instead, he suffered the horrible faith of becoming one of the creatures that took the lives of his only family away from him.

First thing Liam noticed once he woke up all alone in the forest was his heightened senses. His eyes were sharper at seeing the most farthest objects become the most closest if he focused hard enough. Then there was his hearing, able to hear the chirping of birds even when there were none in sight. His sense of smell surely improved as he could smell the mouth watering aroma of freshly baked goods.

But the boy knew he wouldn't be able to taste those delicious treats anymore when his inner wolf might take over him unexpectedly. There is no way in hell he would allow himself to hurt, not even lay a single finger-or claw- on innocent people who have done nothing to him. Unlike the werewolves who killed his family mercilessly. Liam vowed to himself that he wouldn't become one of them, even though he already is one, killing innocent lives is wrong.

Through years of living in a cave located near the mountains-a place villagers wouldn't dare venture to- having to only eat critters like hares and squirrels-if he was lucky, he'd feast on a young deer- because the brown haired lad wanted to be as far away from civilization as possible, not wanting to risk himself of hurting others.

During those years of struggling to survive, Liam had gotten the hang of turning from human, to wolf. On full moons, he'd have to come out of his cave to howl at the moon, he didn't know why, but he assumed it was a wolf thing.

On July 23rd, his 22nd birthday, at around midnight, Liam could feel a slight tingling feeling in his bones. It felt weird and new to him since he'd never felt it before, but the boy shrugged the feeling away, focusing on the moon that shined brightly above him. He's lucky to have found a cave with at least a good view of the moon, which meant he didn't have to leave every so often to howl at the moon like he always does on full moons, same as he's doing right now.

The moon light shone on the mighty wolf, brown furry coat almost shining in magnificence, his ears stood proudly on his head, tail behind him falling still, his stance showing complete dominance as he howled loudly.

His eyes concentrated on the bright shining moon, he could faintly make out four shadowy figures on it's surface but quickly faded away. Maybe it was just him imagining things...but one of the four figures seemed to resemble him quite well.

What could that have meant?

Guess he'll have to find out for himself.

I got too excited... And don't think your Zenpai can't handle writing *thinks for a minute*...4 books! at a time. Cause she can. Might not be able to update frequently due to school, but I'll manage since ugh...it's hard keeping all these awesome ideas just in my head, and possibly forgetting them will fooking destroy me! Like, a perfectly good story idea, long forgotten, never to be read by others. That's shit man.

Writing stories is my passion and my escape from the real world. And knowing people like my ideas makes me feel so loved and wanted. Something I don't really feel much in reality.

Well enough of my blabbering! I hope y'all liked the first chapter. This story would probs take place around the dark ages. Though I do not have much knowledge about that, I'll base it off of my own imagination cause hey, it's mah story.XD
