Brennan was glad he didn't have a hangover the next morning or else he wouldn't have been able to sleep through all of the egregious banging that was going on in the kitchen. He groaned, rolled over, and did his best to ignore the sound. It wasn't working.

     Making his way out of his room, Brennan kept walking until he spotted Caleb cracking an egg into the cast-iron skillet that was hot on the gas stove. He sat at the bar and stared blearily until Caleb made eye contact with him.

     "Well, good morning to you, sunshine," Caleb greeted his roommate and co-star sarcastically, taking the spatula he had in his hand and flipping the egg with it.

     "If you hadn't noticed, some of us are still trying to sleep," Brennan pointed out, "I didn't need to be woken up by you doing absolute fuck all in the kitchen at nine in the morning."

     Caleb huffed out a laugh, sliding the fried egg onto a plate that already had two turkey sausage links and a slice of toast and pushed the dish over to Brennan. Brennan looked at the plate and took a bite out of the toast in defeat, knowing that the only way to get him to shut up was through his stomach. After swallowing, Brennan asked, "How was your dinner date last night?"

     "It was nice," Caleb answered, "we haven't had one in a while."

     "What's her name again? Reese? You don't talk about her much besides in the group chat."

     Caleb nodded. "That would be because I want to keep my private life as private as possible, thank you very much. I'm not trying to have Daily Mail rip my girlfriend apart. She didn't sign up for it, I did."

     "That's fair."

     "What about you?" Caleb asked, breaking another egg in the frying pan, scrambling the egg this time.

     Brennan shook his head, blowing out a breath. "Not if it gets me called a manwhore again. Sure, I've had my fair share of both men and women but for some reason it gets me called a two-timer when really, I'm just living my life. I'm a twenty-five year old living in Hollywood, I'm gonna live like one. And besides, you and I already have a bromance going on. Can't let the fans down."

     That got Caleb to pause for a moment before going back to scrambling his egg. "Right. Anything to fuel the fantasy. Uh, speaking of, we have that Hollywire interview later today so we should probably talk less and eat more."

HOLLYWIRE INTERVIEW

CHELSEA: Hello and welcome back to Hollywire! I'm your host Chelsea Bane and today I'm here to talk to the leading cast of The Incredible Red Dawn, whose first episode just dropped on Disney Plus last night! Brennan, Caleb it is so nice to have you two here with us today!

BRENNAN: It's great to be here

CALEB: Yeah I'm stoked

CHELSEA: How have you guys been so far? Did you guys do anything to celebrate the first episode airing?

BRENNAN: I went out clubbing with a few of my castmastes. No, I did not wake up with a hangover, thankfully

CALEB: I finally got to go on a dinner date with my girlfriend seeing as I haven't been on one in forever

CHELSEA: That all sounds like so much fun! Now tell me, what did you guys like the most about shooting the show?

[Both Brennan and Caleb look at the other, trying to think of their answers]

CALEB: I really enjoyed stepping back into the suit under different circumstances. Sure, it takes place about a week after Peter has Doctor Strange cast the spell on all of New York, but something about the premises of the show kind of gives it a different feel

BRENNAN: I had an absolute blast filming with this nerd again

[Brennan knocks his shoulder playfully into Caleb's who laughs in good fun]

BRENNAN: And like Caleb said, stepping back into the suit was honestly a lot of fun. Even putting on, like, the refined Robin for all of the flashback scenes that we did at the C.A.M.P. That was fun to delve into more of Theo's past. We got more of it in Far From Home but I think Incredible Red Dawn really encapsulates who Theo is as a person.

CHELSEA: And your least favorite part?

BRENNAN and CALEB, together: The harness

[The two break out into laughter as that answer was unrehearsed]

CALEB: You know, for characters who don't really do a lot of flying, there's a helluva lot of harness work involved

BRENNAN: That's because both of our characters are jacked on something which makes them able to jump to and from these crazy heights, it's insane

CHELSEA: Okay, so the both of you have had a number of projects together, would you say that working together has brought you two closer as co-stars or does it just feel about the same as any other project?

BRENNAN: Considering that most of these projects have had a romantic endgame, I personally like to think that we've created a better chemistry as actors because we wouldn't have so many of these romantic counterparts if we hadn't, or people just like seeing us together

CALEB: Same here. It's not like I'm asking, you know, "What are we?" after every shoot [chuckles] but I can see that the both of us have grown to be more comfortable with being intimate with each other on screen. Of course, we have an intimacy coordinator on set to help guide us through the scene but there are times where we kind of do improvise a little bit

CHELSEA: [raising her eyebrows] Oh really now?

BRENNAN: [nodding] Yeah, there's a scene in Rosewood where Will and Dane are in bed and I remember when Caleb and I were blocking it out and I just kept grabbing his thigh while the characters were making out and it wasn't part of the script. I'm really handsy so I'm just everywhere, honestly. Of course, there are boundaries that are in place while we work and I do respect those. I'm not a complete asshole

CALEB: Honestly, Brennan's the best work boyfriend I could ask for
