Shreya Pov

When I reached home everyone were there and suddenly I missed Karthik. I thought of calling him but I do not want to disturb him so decided against it. I joined for lunch with everyone. No one were talking but I can hear some silent murmurs. Always we speak out whatever comes on mind, even uncle or aunty were not there but still all are silent. May be its silence of sea before a storm.

Preetisha cleared her throat gaining our attention. "Shreya! Where have you been? Got new friends that you forgot us?" she asked with a smirk. I tried reading her face but  she raised her eyebrow. She is surely hiding something. "Why are you silent? Thinking that you may loose them too" she asked with a sarcastic smile. My grip on fork in my hand tightened and I glared at her. "Looks like even the left her" she said in a low tone but audible to us. 

That is it, Preetisha you tested my patience to the core. "What is your problem Preetisha? Do you think everyone leave their friends like you? You think yourself as greatest friend ever but you are nothing but a jealous friend with your annoying attitude.  Under the mask of friendship please do not hurt others. Mend your ways before its too late" I uttered at top of my voice. I saw everyone were shocked to see me like this but I did not care. Ankith started clapping with a smirk.

"You asked about my friend whom I was with right? Its Mr. Sharan Gupta, dare to take him away from me. No! atleast try to do that" I said with a smirk. I can feel there is a lump formed in her throat by hearing my dad's name. She is always scared of him from childhood. Just then my phone rang and its from my office. After hearing what they said "Stop your pranks and get back to work" I snapped at them and cut the call. Again I got call from office, may be they called to say sorry. 

Before I could speak I heard its our country head on line, his words made me shiver. I slowly moved out from dining area. "Sir, Bu..t I joinedd on .. special conditions" I stammered. "Do you think we are so dumb to not know them?" he barked. "Well looks like you think so" his voice softened. "Good day sir" saying this I started jumping. I turned back to see Ankith sanding with a huge smile.

"What is this happiness for?" he asked jumping with me. "I got promoted" I squealed. "Congrats!!" saying this he hugged me. "What was that you were doing in there?" I asked him. He gave what-look. "Your stunt of clapping when I am shouting on your wife" I explained. "Because you did what we want" he said smiling ear to ear. "I did not get you" I got confused.

"Its all part of Preetisha's plan" he said proudly. This made me more confused. "You thought you were being ignored by us, She made everyone do that" he said and I was shocked.

Preetisha Pov

Finally I succeeded in my plan, listening uncles name made me tensed. What if he knows about my stupid plan? Never, he will bury me alive. It took me time to come out of my panic mode. I thanked all of Suchi' cousins who helped me. I had a very tough time managing them. 

"I am so happy that my Shreya is back" I ran to her and gave a bone crashing hug. "Care to enlighten me about this plan with reasons" she said crossing her hands against her chest. "Whenever I used do some wrong, you used shout at me and showed me right way. But when we met after six years, you easily forgave us never brought the topic too. I observed that you were no more the old Shreya we know. All were good except that you became extra sweet" I said with a smile. She signaled me to carry on.

"I did not like you being soft to people who hurt you. So I started annoying you with my behavior but being sweet became your obsession" I said in irritation. "I befriended Shruthi to make you mine but you had so many other friends that you never cared for me. I know I am jealous but what to do, I only have you" I said sadly. 

"Even when Karthik is being close with that stupid Shruthi you did not react. This made me more irritated. When you knew that because of me you got attacked, you never said a word to anyone against me. When bhai informed me about this . . " I stopped my words with tears in my eyes. 

Ankith gave me a side hug and Shreya rubbed my hand. Such a sweetheart! "She got utterly devastated when Karthik informed us about the attack" Ankith said comforting me. "That is when I planned this, we came here before 15 days. With the help of Suchi and her cousins I charted out this plan. I had a very tough time to make them act rude to you. They all love you so could not be rude to you, then we changed plan to make you feel lonely" I explained. 

"Finally it worked. Please always be like this" I said with a puppy face. "Are you pregnant?" Shreya questioned me. My eyes went wide listening that "NO!!" I screamed. "You have severe mood swings, in this five minutes you showed me all" She said rolling her eyes. "I am so talented" I said patting my back.

We three had our iconic group hug, "Why do I feel still everything is not over yet?" Shreya asked looking at me. I gave her my devilish- smile  to which she gave her i-know-you-smile. "You are really back" I hugged her. "Get ready for more surprises" I shouted in her ear.

I am still not sure what is Karthik is upto. He told us to trust him and we are supporting him blindly. Ankith said that he saw sincerity in his eyes, that is the reason I am trusting. I just hope Shreya does not get hurt.
