Shreya Pov

When we reached home, mom and dad were packing things in hurry "Whoa! Whats all this?" Karthik exclaimed. "Sorry Shreya" mom came and hugged me. "I am sorry mom, because of me you had to face all that" I said sadly. "Its all misunderstanding, now all of you cheer up" Dad said in excited tone. 

"We are going for a trip and we will be back whenever we want"  mom smiled. "Wow! you married your daughter today and you are going for honeymoon!!" Karthik teased. "How romantic!!" I added. "Better than you both" Dad pulled our ears. "Both of you take care" mom said and took Karthik with her.

I changed to clothes which cover me completely, I have to be careful. Karthik joined me in bed and took my hands in his. "Will you allow me to search my name?" he asked huskily. He found it but still was playing around. "I think you did not write my name" he pouted. What a great actor! I did not protest and slept on his shoulder.

My in-laws left and later Karthik also went to office. For the first time I cursed myself for taking leave. Now I have to stay alone which makes me feel sick. I dumped myself in books, which are my life. It became evening and I totally forgot about medicines. Karthik came late night "Work load is heavy, I had my dinner. You have it" he said. "I did" I lied.

Next morning I woke up late feeling tired, exhausted. I sat in living room doing nothing.

Karthik Pov

I reached office early so that I can be back soon. My parents left to give us privacy, I did not wake her up in the morning as she is too tired. I tried to do work but was lost in her thoughts. I miss her smile, her touch, her food too. My phone buzzed but I ignored and started working. Before lunch there were few text messages which made me nervous. I called Shreya but she did not attend.

I ran out of my cabin and rushed home. I parked my car, I saw the door was open which is not common. I entered and saw Shreya was lying on floor with her head on chair. "Shreya! Shreya" I tried to wake her. I carried her to our room and placed her on bed. I sprinkled water on her face. 

"Idiot!!" she screamed, "How dare you to disturb my sleep? Oops! sorry Karthik, I did not see thats you" She bit her lip saying that. "You scared me Shreya!  You have fever and did not say me" I accused. "Oh I too do not know" She said after placing her hand on head and neck. 

I prepared food for us and made her eat. "I will bring medicines, you take rest" I said leaving our room. "No need, I have them" she said and took some medicine. "You should take care" I said taking her in my arms. "You are there to do that" She said with a smile holding me. Then her phone started ringing. "Wrong timing, you stay like this" I said and kept it on speaker mode.

"Hey Angel! How are you? Taking medicines na?" Anokhi questioned. How does she know that Shreya is sick? "I am perfectly fine" Shreya mumbled. "She is having fever now" I shouted. "Fever!! You should not have it. How?" Anokhi questioned and I got confused. "I . . Actually did not eat for three days and staying alone makes me sick" Shreya blurted out. Damn! She is saying this now. I decided to fight with her. "I already warned you still you did not listen. Fine do not talk to me. I am saying again just take rest for your good" Anokhi shouted. I am very happy as she is doing what I wanted to do. 

"Do not worry, I will take care of her" I said. "Why did you not eat for three days?" I glared. "That day you shouted on me, later I did not eat. No reason" She said sadly. Its my mistake and I will make up for it. I took care of her to that extent that right now she is pissed off. 

"I will not eat, I am full" she said raising her hands. I called my mom and informed all this. "Mom why did you leave me with this monster!!" Shreya whined. But later her face fell, I know my mom took class and now she will listen to me. "Why are you doing this?" she asked. "Because I am a monster" I chuckled. Finally she too smiled. 

I started feeding her and she did he same. "I am very happy, I wish I am sick always" she mumbled. "Why do you wish so?" I asked. "See you are taking care and feeding me too" she clapped. "You just have to ask it dear, from now no need of that" I winked. Her faced glowed with her smile and I can give her my life. I felt bad that I am hurting her and I had to do it.

"Why were you sleeping on floor?" I asked her. "Floor!! No, our neighbor came and after she left I felt dizzy and sat on chair. May be I fell down while sleeping" she said thinking. I shook my head thinking what all bad thoughts I got. "Why did you come at that time?" She asked suddenly. "I got message that our door is not locked. I called you but its not attended. I got scared" I told her what happened. 

"Do we get messages like that? she asked me curiously. "Yes baby! Our security systems are strong. In fact this whole area is under surveillance" I said ruffling her hair. 

Suddenly she became restless and started searching her phone. What happened to her?
