Personality: Jackson is strict and regimented in most aspects of his daily life, liking to stick to a recurring routine and not break it. But, on the flipside, he can also be incredibly spontaneous when it comes to things like battlefield medicine, doing whatever he can think of to save someone's life. He can be rash, quick to act, and generally abrasive, though he doesn't necessarily always mean to. 

Backstory: Jackson grew up in a single-parent household with only his mother and his older brother, Lincoln.  He joined the United States Army right out of high school, going through basic training before being deployed to Iraq for two three-month periods over the course of four years. He is still enlisted, but not actively deployed, and works as an assistant medical trainer at basic every year for a few weeks. He could be re-deployed at any time if needed, which his family hates, but he's actually pretty okay with. After finishing his second tour, he elected to go to medical school and is now in his first year of internal medicine residency at GVM.
