Ok, today I have a serious rant for you guys. My friend brought this to my attention recently, although I have seen it before. The people who go on LGBTQIA+ accounts and hate. This annoys me for so many reasons. If you don't believe in something, if it makes you uncomfortable, or if you are against it, don't read about it. Don't search for instagrams that talk about it, and certainly don't go on a specific picture (or dm them for that matter) and comment hate. Listen, I don't agree that people should be against this kind community, but in general if you dislike or are uncomfortable with something, ignore it on social media! Ok, I mean I get if it shows up under search, but if you don't want to see it, then IGNORE IT! There is no need to go into the comments and tell the account owners, who are proud of who they are, that "God hates them" or to "kill themselves" or that "it's a mental disorder" that's harsh, rude, disrespectful, hurtful, homophobic/transphobic etc, prejudiced, and plain mean. Then pursues an all out battle in the comment section. These people are defending themselves verbally, which is what should happen because a bigot just verbally attacked them. The bigot is being stubborn and throwing around rude words instead of backing off of the people and place they are "uncomfortable" with instead. That's not to say that the owners of the account are being polite in their responses, but they are heavily provoked. Luckily, most accounts will report or block the account, but the words still sting. Just don't do this.
