Your POV

I heard a steady beep, it was like a metronome..... I also heard voices breaking the rhythmic beep, but they were extremely muffled.

What's that?

I saw darkness... Only darkness.

I decided to open my eyes a sliver.... I saw a ton a wires attached to me and a single person and.. Pokemon?

What? What happened?

My eyes then fell shut and I lost myself in darkness once more. A seemingly infinite drop of night.

I sighed sadly as I was once again thrown into a pit of black, it was always like this. My vision would come back and I would see memories of something, then I would lose my sight to the enveloping, star lacking night. First my days with a man named Kabu, then when I helped my friend on the farm, and my latest memories.

I was dared to sit by the tree for ten minutes and then it became like a nightmare, after that I was pulled from the horrid thoughts by two friends. The second memory started with me being brought to my garden by Mom's singing and I started crying because I remembered in the memory she died the next day, my mom then became Milo and I realized something. I breathed out softly, my lifesaver.

With that thought my eyes flew open and I instantly sat up, only to be met by a harsh, blinding glare of lights and raising my right arm to shield my eyes. The lights still glared into my eyes and I realized,

My arm was gone.

I started to panic but, was stopped by two people grabbing my shoulders and holding me still. My panic still raged through my mind and I started breathing rapidly, the once steady beep going haywire.

"(y/n) calm down, you'll hurt yourself if you freak out!" I know that voice, I blankly looked for the owner of the voice and found a girl that looked about fourteen or fifteen. With the familiar features of mahogany hair and ocean blue eyes, the girl seemed to smile a little when I met her gaze and my shoulders were released from the tight grip once my panic was gone.

I opened my mouth to speak but was stopped, "Don't rush it, you just woke up." Another familiar voice this one smooth and mature, I grumbled and started speaking anyway even though I could tell my throat would hurt from it.

"What.... What happened?" I strained to croak out , I felt like my entire body had gone through immense torture and the arm I still had stung like it had been struck by a thousand needles over and over. I got no answer, "Where.... am I?"

Then I got a response, "Your in the hospital, in Anistar City." This one I also knew, it was a young sounding and it definitely belonged to a boy.

I huffed after a moment, "But Anistar City .... It isn't in Galar," I looked down, "I must be dreaming still." I then muttered.

"(y/n), you aren't in Galar. You've been in Kalos for five years now and were planning to go back but..." The male voice sounded and I looked over to its owner, a boy about eleven maybe with amber eyes and messy red hair.

"What!?" I freaked out but coughed quite a few times from the sharp stab of pain at my raised voice, after I stopped coughing I spoke again, "Okay... explain everything from the beginning."

The older woman explained it all, she looked like an older, female version of the boy. As she explained I started getting bits of memories.

(Flashback)

I was standing beside an open casket, inside was a boy in his twenties. He looked so peaceful and his shaggy dark brown hair was fixed neat, I felt a couple tears leak from my eyes, "You're a big dummy you know, but you were a good one. I know you left when I was four but, according to your kids you were an amazing person." I chuckled before continuing, "I'm not your little muffin anymore, Lance." I choked out as my tears started growing more rapid and I sniffled. "Well I guess this is goodbye, I'll see you later and then we can catch up okay?" I smiled through my choking sobs and I backed away from the casket, allowing others to see him and reminiscing my small collection of memories with my older brother.

Big time skip

"Hey don't forget to come visit okay." I was embraced by a ten year old girl.

"Of course I'll come visit, how else will I show you the new pokemon I catch and how much the team improved, Lily" I laughed and hugged back.

"Don't forget about me Togekiss, okay." I saw the white fairy being squished in a hug by a seven year old boy, the boy was sniffling like crazy and Togekiss giggled.

"Of course I won't, Quint. If Mom says she is visiting then I'm going to be right with her." My 'kid' reassured, it's amazing how much her speech improved by a year.

I was released from the hug and the girl went to hug Glaceon and Flapple, those two really love pokemon, I think they'll be amazing trainers one day.

time skip

I was walking along route 5, when a goat like pokemon ran straight into me and knocked me over. I got a good look at it and saw the pokemon was a Skiddo. 'Do?' It looked at me with bright, curious eyes.

I sat up and pushed the little goat off, I figured it belonged to a herder near here so I didn't bother trying to catch it. I stood up and my pokemon and I started off again.

"Uhhh, Mom, the Skiddo is following us." Togekiss spoke up and I turned around, the moment I locked gazes with the Skiddo it looked away and acted like I wasn't there.

"Skiddo go back to your herd, I can't catch you." I told it. ' Skiddo Skid.' It looked straight at me and stomped its foot as it bleated. "Togekiss translation please."

"He says he has no herd and he is joining ours." The white fairy translated happily. Glaceon had walked up to him and started inspecting the pokemon.

"If you're going to join our herd then I have to catch you okay." I held out a pokeball and Skiddo came up to sniff it, his nose touching the button and he went inside. I watched as the ball moved once. Twice. Three times. Then clicked!

Okay another time skip

Man Route 22 is so plain, I thought as I looked around to see grass, grass, oh hey look more grass. I huffed and looked to Glaceon, she was practically melting in the heat.

"Come back, Glaceon." I called her into her pokeball so she didn't have to stay in the heat.

"Mom, how do you think Dad is doing? I mean, we haven't heard from him since we left Aunt Ruby's house." I looked to Togekiss, she was easily floating along and not fazed by the scorching waves of sunlight.

"I bet Ar-"

'LITLEO!!' I backed away instinctively, before I was attacked by whatever that was. I saw an older  Litleo, who looked straight at me with unsettling rage, 'Litleo! Lit litleo!!!'

"Litleo why are you mad?" I saw my 'kid ' bravely approach the lion cub pokemon, a twinge of worry rising for the white fairy.

'Leo lit lit!'

"Oh so you were kicked out of your pride and you have to fend for yourself? Why not join us, then you won't have to worry about fending for yourself." I smiled at the pair's interactions and grabbed an unused pokeball just in case, a soft giggle escaping my lips at Togekiss' speech pattern.

The Litleo thought about it for a minute, 'Litleo!' It bounced up and down.

"Mom, she said she'd much rather not have to worry about getting food and keeping it."

I already understood, rolling the pokeball to the lion cub pokemon and it encased her inside. The ball quickly clicked and I smiled, picking up the ball, "Welcome to the team."

These are a lot of time skips.. Oh look another time skip

I sat on a rock and gently dug in the dirt, I was taking a break with everyone and they were all playing after I gave them lunch. Skiddo evolved into a Gogoat, Litleo became a Pyroar, and I managed to make lunch without blowing anything up.

I felt something hard on the soil and started digging it up, I was interested to see what I found. Slowly I uncovered a bone, a jaw bone. "Hey guys check this out!" I called and the team came over.

Pyroar instantly lunged for it and I stopped her, shaking my head. Flapple and Gogoat showed little interest and went back to playing. Glaceon sniffed it and huffed, no interest. Pyroar gave up on trying to steal it and left. Togekiss was asleep, aww I really thought they'd be interested.

I inspected the jaw bone and it looked old, like fossil old. Ambrette City isn't far and they have a research lab, maybe they could check it out.
"Okay everyone come back, breaks over!"

I waited for the result of the jaw bone and I heard a door open and close. "Before I tell you the results, can you handle a spoiled pokemon with a jaw force that can break an arm?" A lab person asked and I was confused, I seriously doubt a pokemon would hurt it's trainer.

"I'm sure I can." I answered bravely and the door opened again, this time a Tyrunt ran out and made a beeline for me.

'Tyrunt!!' It roared and looked up at me, then stomped its feet and I giggled before kneeling down to pet it.

"Meet Tyrunt, he's more laid back than other ones we've revived but still he's a spoiled brat of pokemon." I was informed and I noticed Tyrunt going to bite me.

I swiftly moved my hands so they held his mouth shut, "Welcome to the team Tyrunt, rule one, no biting." I smiled and let go when the mini T-rex nodded.

Alright huge time skip

I ran out of my house when I heard screams and loud booms. What I saw was a giant Zygarde making it's way through Anistar City and I immediately grabbed my pokeballs, running out to help get people to safety.

I called out Tyrantrum, "Alright Tyrantrum I need you to stop any debris from falling onto people and help make a clear path with that strength of yours." My now giant T-rex like pokemon nodded and started doing just that.

When I got a home in Anistar City, I joined Officer Jenny's police force and let's just say my team was perfect for the job. I was planning on going back to Galar soon but, I got stuck with a Team Flare issue and it delayed my plans for two and a half years now.

I started following the path Tyrantrum had made and began showing people to safety, "(y/n) do you copy?" I heard my radio go off.

"Yeah I copy, Jenny."

"Is that your Tyrantrum that's clearing out a path?"

"Yeah, I saw the Zygarde already too and I'm in the field now, I'm right be-"

I stopped mid sentence when I heard Tyrantrum roar and rush towards me, I heard crumbling and looked up. "(y/n) why did you stop?!" My body was glued to the ground as I just watched speechless, "Do you copy!?"

I was too late to move once I came out of my trance and piece of a building fell on me. Then I lost consciousness.

(End of flashback)

"So the wall landed on my arm? That's why I'm not dead." I spoke and looked at the nub of where my entire right arm should be. "I guess I was really lucky this time."

Time Skip

I looked at the picture of my friends and I and sighed, I wonder if they've changed like I did. I packed it up in my suitcase and zipped it up. Of course they changed, five years does a lot and I'm twenty now not a forgetful fifteen year old.

I retired from the police when I was free from the hospital and sold my house in Anistar City, today I was leaving Kalos and making my much wanted return to Galar. If I remember correctly, the gym challenge would be starting the day I get back.

Well Kalos was nice but, Galar won't ever be topped.

Whew this was extremely long over 2000. So I'm not saying anything about this, too much to say
