Your POV

"Okay this is it, you ready guys?" I was extremely nervous and I felt a little reassurance when I saw how pumped the team was, cheering happily and itching to battle. "Let's give our all this time, alright." I spoke once more and called back everyone, minus Lucario and Glaceon.

Walking through the drawbridge entrance, I was met by a rough and tumble looking woman. With dark gray hair and tanned skin, probably from staying in the heat, she had a look of intimidation and like Dwayne it was easy to break under her gaze. Though about her gaze, she had only one working eye and the left side of her face was scarred and burnt, her eye was a pool of blue and was the only non intimidating looking attribute about her. "Y-you mu-must  be  (y-y-y/n), I-I'm  th-the  gy-m-m  lea-leader  here." Her voice was higher pitched and stuttered a ton, making her sound less scary.

"Yep and you are?" I responded, trying to ignore her stutter.

"R-r-r-rei  a-an-nd  I-I'm  s-sorr-ry  I-if  I  st-st-stutter, I-I  g-g-got  hit  i-in  t-th-the  th-thr-oat  a-and  it  m-m-mess-sed  u-up  m-my  v-v-voice  b-bo-ox." She explained and I nodded with a smile, that explains it.

"Oh it's fine, I don't mind the stutter actually. So do you have a gym challenge or do we go straight to battle? " I then asked after shaking her calloused hand and Rei gestured me to follow her.

"C-c-come  w-wit-th  m-me."
We walked out of the stadium and the older women led me and my two pokemon to the vault. It had a dragon symbol above the doors and across from it was a training pitch with a beautiful garden surrounding it, it looked really old and it probably was. "H-he-re  we  a-a-are." She spluttered out.

"Its so pretty." I complimented and took in the sweet scent of the flowers, Lucario managed to pick one as we walked by and placed it against Glaceon's ice blue ear. "So what's the story behind this place?" I was quite interested in the history of the vault.

"T-t-the  v-vau-vault  h-ho-holds-s  m-ma-many  h-h-histor-torical  o-obj-objects  a-and  w-w-was  m-ma-ade  wh-when  H-Hamm-Hammer-erlocke  w-w-was  the  ce-center  of  G-Gal-lar." Rei informed as we made our way up a set of stairs.

Walking through a door and being met by the bright sun, I signaled Lucario to stop by the edge of the platform. The sight was gorgeous and I could see small parts of the wild area and the route to Stow-on-Side, the heat hit my skin and it felt so good. I was disappointed when we walked through another set of doors but, curiosity took over my mind as I saw the tapestries hanging on the stone brick wall.

"T-these  t-t-tell  th-the  s-stor-ory  of t-the  Da-Dark-kest  D-Day, b-but  w-we-we're  h-here  f-f-fo-or  the  g-gym  ch-cha-allenge." I nodded and then noticed three people, "Y-yo-our  ch-challe-enge  is  d-dou-double  b-batt-attling."

Time Skip

Man that was hard, I smiled at my accomplishment of defeating three double battles in a row and Rei seemed happy I did it.

"W-wha-what  s-spl-plendid  b-bat-attling, (y-y/n-n)." The one eyed woman clapped her tanned hands together and we then went back to the gym stadium. Rei leaving me and I entered the locker room, changing into my uniform and taking out each one of my pokemon.

"Alright you guys, I don't care if we lose. I just want you all to do your best against Rei's team and no matter what I always have faith in your strength, now lets do this." I encouraged and we all cheered in determination, I called back everyone minus the usual. "Okay let's head out there." I was helped up by Lucario and we entered through the tunnel.

The moment the light hit my (e/c) eyes, I looked at the crowd going silent when they saw me and the tan skinned female was already in place. I felt a surge of fright take over and I shuddered, not meeting Rei's eye.

"D-d-don't  b-be  ner-nerv-vous  tr-train-ner, I a-am  s-su-sure  yo-you  ca-can  do i-it. M-ma-making  it th-this  fa-far  is  a-an  acc-accompli-plish-ishment  a-and  yo-ou  nee-needn-nt  be  sc-sc-scar-ared." The blue eyed gym leader reassured and placed a hand on my shoulder, I smiled and nodded. Then we took our positions, me sitting and my opponent standing, Rei sent out a Flapple, I sent out Ninetails and the Fox turned to me with a smile before looking back to the flying apple.

"Alright let's start straight off with Fire Spin!" I shouted and a vortex of fire was made around the Flapple. "D-dra-gon  Bre-eath  Fl-flap-ple!" Rei stuttered out and her pokemon sucked in air. "Get behind it, Ninetails, and stay away from it's mouth!" I yelled and the command was followed, the nine-tailed fox staying out of the direction of the flying apple's mouth and stopped once a shot was made right before him. The fiery vortex caused more damage to Flapple and I called for a Flamethrower from Ninetails, "L-L-leech  S-s-seed!" The move from the opposite team was made and they traded attacks, as Ninetails shot his flame Flapple shot energy stealing seeds on the fox and I noticed Rei's pokemon was getting low on energy. "Okay Ninetails use Flamethrower once more!" I called and before a stuttered response was made, the flame hit Flapple and took the last of it's energy.

"A-alri-right  Hax-axorus!" Rei sent out a black and green pokemon and I called back Ninetails, then Noivern took his place. "U-use D-dua-al  Ch-Ch-chop!" The gray haired woman commanded and I shouted for the new move, Draco Meteor. Before Haxorus could hit Noivern, the bat flew up and sent a jumble of meteors down on the dragon type. "T-tim-me  fo-for  th-the  b-big  g-g-guns. U-use  Gui-guillo-otine!" The one eyed woman shouted and a metal claw came from the ground, "Fly away from it and use Draco Meteor again, Noivern!" I screeched and another attack from the black bat came, directly hitting the axe jawed pokemon and leaving only a sliver of energy. "Finish it off with Air Cutter!" "G-guil-illotine  aga-ain!" The attacks hit at the same time and caused a double knockout, I called back Noivern and murmured an encouraging statement.

"L-let-ts  g-g-go  Dr-dram-ampa!" Rei sent out a dragon that resembles a Chinese dragon with white and green, "C'mon Lucario!" I sent out the aura pokemon and called for an Aura Sphere, in return the dragon type gym leader called for a Hyper Voice and both attacks were made. Both sides getting hit and I studied the dragon for a moment, "Use Meteor Mash and hit Drampa into the ground!" I had noticed a pair of wings on the Chinese dragon and wanted those immobilized so Rei didn't have the advantage. "U-use  Dr-dra-agon  Bre-breath!" The gray haired woman shouted and her Drampa did the same as Flapple, this time Lucario made no effort to dodge it and flashed forward. The moment the black masked pokemon was inches away from the attack, he leaped up and drove an Meteor Mash into Drampa's back. The pokemon was crushed into the ground and immobilized, "Alright Lucario, now use Aura Sphere again!" The command was followed and the final blow was made, taking out Rei's third pokemon. The knocked out Drampa was called back and I did the same.

"O-o-kay  Goo-goodra, l-l-lets  s-s-see  th-the  ra-rain!" Rei sent out a gooey, lavender pokemon and I responded with Togetic, who said she wanted to battle. "U-us-use  Wa-water  Gu-gun!" "Alright Togetic, use Dazzling Gleam!" Our attacks were made and Goodra missed due to the bright lights Togetic made with her gorgeous attack. "N-now  use  A-aq-qua  Ta-tail!" The lavender pokemon ran forward with its tail readied, wait.....wait... Okay! "Blow it back with Fairy Wind!" I shouted and the Goodra stopped in its tracks, being blown back by Togetic and to stop itself it dug its feet into the ground. "Dr-Drag-agon  P-Puls-ulse!" " Fairy Wind again! " our attack choices made collision and threw the other pokemon back, resulting in another double knockout. "Togetic!" I couldn't get her with my condition and simply called her back with sadness.

"Dur-dural-aldon  it-it's  t-t-time  to G-g-giga-antamax!" Rei threw a giant pokeball behind her with ease and I did the same with Glaceon's except, I literally rolled mine due to me sitting and not standing. Let's give her a shot this time and wait for G-Max Light Freeze, I thought and called for a Max Hailstorm while my opponent called for a Max Wyrmwind. Both attacks making contact and causing normal damage, "Now use Max Strike!" " Ma-Max Kn-knuc-uckle!" A strike from the ground hit Duraldon and a knuckle from the sky hit Glaceon. "Time to finish this! Glaceon G-Max Light Freeze!" I shouted for the instant KO I wanted and the same thing that happened in the battle against Lucille was brought, the whole pitch turned to ice and when I saw Duraldon it was in an ice block. With lights resembling an aurora shooting into the ice and taking out the opponent, in less than a minute Duraldon fainted.

Glaceon turned back to normal and the ice disappeared along with her G-Max form. Rei smiled and clapped, coming up to me and helping me up. "S-se-see  y-y-you  won  a-an-nd  as pr-pro-oof  th-the  dra-a-agon  ba-badge." She gave me the badge and I just looked around at the audience seeing their roars gave me courage.

A couple days later

"Well you guys this is it, Wyndon."
