1. Prologue
I am Diana Rose. I disappeared on the eve of my nineteenth birthday, on May 16, 2005. I'm a grown-up now and I'm an author though. This book is astronomically precious as gold to me. I want the whole world to know about the event.
I'm going to tell you my experience, my true experience when I got lost in the fog forest as best as I can, rummaging up my brain for numerous possible memories I've got in there along with the help of the small notebook.
I was a normal 8-years-old girl going to, The Duchess School, a highly known big-name college. And there was my best friend Cynthia, a blue-eyed and smoothed-faced girl with ginger-brown hair above her oblong face. She has S-shaped eyebrows and narrow ears along with heart-shaped lips. We spent the entire time during the recreation periods together chatting under the full-grown, towering, shadily leaf-shattering, blossoming and deciduous Elm tree, lying on the soft yellow-green grass.
The tree has extremely large timber and branches, making it spacious. The samara-shaped dawn-tinted flowers along with embalming fragrances were very obvious to attract someone with bees buzzing throughout and pollinating the petals. There were slender and greenish Warblers standing on the branches and chirping, creating a harmonious and lovely singing notes with it, feeling the soothing and refreshing air blowing on our faces, our hair swaying with the whirling breeze, causing us to feel stimulating and invigorating.
I was actually absent-minded forgetting my jam-packed with pages and three-dimensionally thick books or even the crammed full lot of copybooks. I often stood at the door after hearing the catchphrases of the teachers, "Get out!", they yelled, echoing the whole class. But my parent never got crossed and they were soft-hearted towards me. Cynthia even gave me a mini pocket-sized notebook. All was like this, until...
