After an hour, Kai managed to calm his two younger brothers. Now the three of them were sitting in one of the aisles of the warehouse. He and his neighbor Wu, and his brother Garmadon along with his wife Misako were also in the same hallway next to Kai, as was Zane who was still hugging Pixal, and Skylor who was on the other side of Kai.

That made Kai freak out and he instinctively ran away completely forgetting about the blankets.

As soon as he left the basement and opened the doors again, he was scared to see the faces of Cole and Jay who were accompanied by the two mechanics: Clutch Powers and Dareth Vincent.

Kai instinctively acted into action and lunged to grab Brad under his armpits, he tried to pull it off making a fight against the tentacles that were glad to retrieve their prey.

One of those tentacles reached one of Brad's legs, which bit him and pulled a large piece of meat from the knee. This caused Brad to scream and cry in pain as the bite wound began to bleed rapidly. The three friends were horrified by this, seeing the blood spill on the ground.

The tentacle tasted Brad's blood and seemed to like it, as it emitted some kind of high-pitched squeaks or meows as it devoured the meat.

Jay, desperate for the situation, looked around and saw that on the wall there was a fire ax inside a glass box.

- Cole, the ax! - he shouted Jay to pointing the ax on the wall - Help me out of there! -

- Make it quick! - Kai insisted as he watched as Cole went with Jay to run towards with the ax.

But in that the same tentacle reached Brad's shoulder and with a single bite it ripped off a large part of his skin, letting the blood splatter his clothes and some of Kai's face while the boy screamed even more in pain for As the tentacle devoured the flesh on his shoulder, Kai even screamed in horror upon seeing this scene in front of him.

- Fast, break it! - Jay shouted in panic seeing the situation worse.

- Stand aside! - Cole yelled as he broke the glass completely with his elbow. In that Jay took the ax and they both returned to Kai, Cole again helped Kai to hold Brad while Jay prepared with the ax in his hands.

- Don't move! Do not move! - yelled Jay to Brad as he aimed the ax at one of the tentacles that were holding.

However, another tentacle came out and bit down hard on Brad's other leg as he pulled it hard away from Kai and Cole's grasp who had no choice but to let go. Jay tried to hit the tentacle, but missed the moment he pulled Brad to the ground, causing him to hit the ground only for his missed hit.

Brad managed to grasp the edge of the door with his hands and did his best not to let the tentacles carry him out.

- Oh my God, no! - Kai shouted as he reached Brad again, Jay and Cole also grabbed him again and tried to pull him back with them.

But in that, a new tentacle emerged from the fog only this was more big and fat, in entering Clutch and Dareth stumbled backwards as they backed away from the tentacle.

Kai watched in horror as Brad let go as he no longer had enough strength in his hands as more tentacles enveloped him even more. Brad cried even more and screamed as the tentacles dragged him into the mist and then disappeared and was never seen again. Hardly Kai turned away in defeat and sadness.

The door began to close and the huge tentacle began to retreat as it felt the pressure of the door crushing it. The three boys got up and Kai took the ax from the ground and began to cut a part of the giant tentacle which began to scream in pain. Very soon Kai cut the piece of the tentacle which turned out to be the part where the mouth was where the black fangs were.

As soon as the door closed, the piece of tentacle on the ground stopped squirming and Kai dropped the ax as he took a deep breath as he bent down to catch some breath. And he wasn't the only one, Cole and Jay were also the same, but Clutch and Dareth still seemed puzzled by what had just happened.

- What the hell...? What the hell happened? - Clutch started still nervous as he tried to analyze in his mind what had just happened a moment ago - What were those things? That shouldn't have happened, I-I... -
