That same night, the storm reached the town of Ignacia, by the lake a house was located there, and in one of those houses was the residence of the Smith family, which was registered in their mailbox. Inside the house, in one of the rooms was the 18-year-old named Kai Smith, who was investigating some things at school on his computer. It was summer, but they were just days away from going back to high school. As a teenager, he found himself listening to the music of his favorite band from his tape recorder. His hair was brown and combed in the form of tousled spikes combed up and to the side, for now he had on his pajamas, which consisted of black cloth pants and his red short sleeve shirt.

But outside his house the storm caused a tree to fall on the light pole that gave power to all the houses causing a huge blackout over the entire area making the whole place go dark. Including the Smith house.
