Prologue: Part 2
Across the Snowfields of the mining town miles away from the Figaro Domain, 4 MagiTek armors stroll across the winter scene, leaving heavy prints in the snow, which could be forgiven for a Vomammoth footprint.
Wearing the proud colors of the Ghestalian Empire, the four made their way to a cliff edge surveying the town. The heads-up-display, was far advanced but practical, thanks to the geniuses within the labs and facilities working of the fierce mechanical beasts that now stand idle.
"There's the town, and it looks more beautiful in person..."
"It's kinda unbelievable, Wedge, that something this exciting was found 1000 years after the Great War of the Magi. You think this is important?"
"Yeah, they wouldn't have let us use the White Iron Twins unless they were confident that the info was checked out. Did we have to bring them along, Biggs?" Wedge questioned.
"Ah yes...the Twin Witch and Warlock of the Empire. Rumor has it they killed 50 of our best and brightest, without provocation! Kinda makes your skin crawl, don't it?" Biggs responded, while his partner agreed.
Biggs and Wedge turned to the twins, who were much younger than the veteran soldiers. Their uniforms were strikingly different than the standard uniforms the Empire provided, with the white sleeves and pants revealing their eilte status. Top of the line gloves, both flexible and versatile pants and short dress, and paneled boots with slip-resistant soles.
But the most striking difference was that other than the fact that they were a male and female pair, were the pendants they wore. A symbol of the sibling bond they shared despite being soldiers in a ruthless empire. Though they both shone with a prismatic color, the chains that held the impressive jewels were gold and silver, respectively.
Their hairstyles were somewhat similar in the regard that they had platinum white hair with a unique tuft of hair sticking upwards, much to the local barber's chagrin. the female's hair was longer, with a blue hairclip pinning some of her hair in a unique style her own. The male had no need for long hair, but his sideburns were neatly trimmed.
Both had blue eyes at birth, but you couldn't tell by the focused stare, as if awaiting orders.
"Worry not, they have the Enslavement Crowns on their heads...they won't even breathe unless we tell 'em to! They'll follow orders, even ones that don't make sense!" Biggs replied, confident that this mission will run smoothly.
"Fair enough, but it's on you if they get killed!" Wedge retorted. "We'll aproach from the East Snowbanks...let's move out! And put the girl on lead point! Do NOT waste time on the small-fry, let's get what we came for! MOVE OUT!"
With that, the four MagiTek Soldiers move toward their objectives...not knowing that for some, this mission will be the last one they will undertake, but for others, a new dawn.
A.N: Sorry for the wait. Between moving to a new state, and other crazy things happening, I didn't have much time to get some chapters out, but at least this might satisfy that itch.
No, Luan...not THAT kind of itch! Save that for the After Dark specials!
"Aw poo-poo..."
With that out of the way, stay tuned to this saga!
Til then...
