"It's an Eidolon (esper) assault!  Let's turn the tables, and show them OUR power!"

"Get the kids outta here!  We need them safe!"

"Only Odin is left to fight with us now!"

"Has he recovered yet?  Has he still have fight left in him?"

"Does it matter?  We have little recourse!  We must leave this final battle in his hands.  There's not much else we can do!  Are the twins safe?"

"Yes...all 4 of them and their siblings are safely away from this dreadful fate!"

"Good, I'll get Odin ready.  You two rally the troops and their squads for the battle that will change this world, forever"

They thought the tide would turn...but, even with Odin, it wasn't enough.

"Impressive...I never thought you'd...turn me...into...stone...Well Played..."

"It was then that the castle was swallowed whole by an earthquake, entombing the remaining survivors.  A tragedy...but a small light glimmered in the darkness, hinted at a hope that one day, they will be reunited."

"Wead it again, Lisa! Queen and Odin is a good story!"

"Lily, I didn't want to shorten such a good story since you like it so much...but the night is getting to me, and even geniuses like me need nocturnal rejuvination...sleep." Lisa said.

"Ohh...you mean the Sandieman won't give you a gift if he doesn't come over?  Nooooo!  I don' wanna anger Sandieman!" Lily cried, her young mind over-hyping her senses again.

"Calm youself, tiny sister.  You don't have to completely fall asleep, but our parentals will be worried.  We were lucky to be with them during our...separation." Lisa said, hugging Lily. "It's been years.  I want to hold out hope, but I fear the worst..."

"You not have to...it was not your fault, genie sis!" Lily said.

"I'm almost convinced.  But it would-"

Lily knew Lisa's secret tickle spot, right above her belly button and her ribcage.  She aimed her fingers and tapped that spot.  Lisa crumpled to the floor laughing.  Lily missed that laugh.

"Haa..ahh...ah ha...sigh!  Thanks Lily.  I needed that upheaval of happiness!  I'm not gonna fall into that cycle of despair again.  We WILL find our family someday!" Lisa said, coming down from her tickle high.

"See, see!?  That why I here!  To keep you smiling!  Cause...she would want us to." Lily said.

"Fortunately, some tech was spared from the end times and recovered, come and see, Lily," Lisa responded, much to Lily's chagrin.

"Sigh, genies ne'er rest do they?" Lily said following the genius.

This was the normalcy they had under the Empire, living in a gilded cage, yes it was much more advanced thanks to the little kid genius, but it was still hard to see the masked smiles.  The Southern Continent was already under the heel of the Emperor's boot, but eventually something had to give.

A group that was a thorn in the side of the ruler class was the Returner Resistance, a small but rising army, striking where it hurts.  The best guards were dispatched, but even they had trouble finding them.

"The Empire will protect you?  Dudes, that's a dumb joke!  To some, it is paradise, but to me...its just another prison." a female rough voice said, scratching her arm.  The armor was too big on her but it hid her real clothing well.  "Why would the king send us here, Sam?  If we're caught, you know what they'd do to us!"

"Luna, you know I care for you too much to let that happen, right?  But we knew the risks.  Besides, what if the lead is true, and...they are here?  Someone's gotta blow the whistle on this whole thing right?" a softer voice said, indicating a blonde with a small neon green streak in her hair.

"So we pull this off, then what?" Luna started to say, but then a guard showed up.

"HEY, you two slackers are late!  The Emperor is gonna speak soon!  Get on the hum and to your lines, double time!" the guard said.

"Yes Sir!" they both said following the guard.

Lisa sighed, in her room.  She had a bad feeling that something may happen during the Emperor's speech, but she pushed it out of her mind, but the more she did so, the stronger the feeling came.

'I wish I had an older sister to confide in...she'd know what to do in these uncertain times' she thought.

Little did she know that in the days that followed, her wish will come true.

And on that coming day, she will have it and more.  But for now...she needed sleep.  With the Emperor's speech droning in the background, her last thought for now was correct in one thing.

A New Dawn was coming.  An no one will stop it.

A.N: The prologue is out, cause I wanted to get that out the way.  If you had noticed, a lot will change in this story.  I had to keep it short because not only are they still children, though aged up, they have a limited education under the Empire, and given the subjects that aren't covered in their schools...a lot of info is kinda missing.

I decided to make the world of FF6 a bit more advanced (get it, cause of the GBA Translation?) cause you'd think the Empire for all the tech they have, they'd actually have long range communications.  Keep in mind that this is an AU of the Loud House where the family was separated after a tragedy that forced them to split up.  This will come in handy later in future chapters.

As for the original cast?  They are kinda there but...as different side characters.

Maggie will probably be there, cause she's smooth like that.

The parents are already devastated, but they're trying their best to raise the remaining family they had left, Lisa and Lily.

But all worlds will collide, free and bound, good and evil.  And the revelations will change everything forever.
