(Queens, New York May 2012, Caitlyn's Age: 16)

Caitlyn's Pov

I was in my room sleeping as my alarm went off as I grumbles and tries to reach for it but couldn't grab it as I opens my eyes and sees myself on my ceiling.

Caitlyn: *sighs* Not again...

I dropped to the ground landing onto my feet as I crack my body a bit as I shut my alarm off.

Caitlyn: This is the fifth time this week.....Need to stop going on late night patrols. *yawns* Fighting Toomes was annoying as hell.

Soon my door opens to see my childhood friend/crush Laura Kinney who is staying with me and my aunt Roisin.

Laura: Let me guess you was on the ceiling again?

Caitlyn: What? Noooooo......

Laura: ....You was.

Caitlyn: ....Fine I was.

Laura: Why am I not surprise. And it was that flying guy once again? *crossed her arms*

I looked away while whistling confirming Laura's words as she sighed.

Laura: Just hurry up and get dress we have school today idoita.

She walks out of my room as I sighed to myself and looked around my junky room and started looking for clothes to put on. After a minute or two I put some clothes on as I put my spider suit in my book bag as I walks out of my room, as I got to the kitchen I saw my aunt making coffee as she sees me.

Roisin: Hey there sleepy head. Long night?

Caitlyn: Yeah.....Had to go thrown through two building because of Toomes.

Roisin: I did told you to come home last night but you got your father's stubbornness.

Caitlyn: Hey.

Roisin: Just saying kid. You got your mother's looks but your father's personality at times.

Caitlyn: ...Where's Laura?

Roisin: Oh she's waiting for you outside so hurry up before you be late again.

Caitlyn: Okay, see you when we come back.

I was about to leave but my aunt put her hand on my shoulder.

Caitlyn: *looks at her* Hm?

Roisin: Cat, please for my sake ask Laura out.

Caitlyn: *face turns red* Wha-what are you talking about?

Roisin: *smiles* I've seen the way you look at her and act with her even through the two of you are the children of super heroes....Probably don't count Logan as a hero but anywho. You like her and I know she likes you back so just stop waiting and go ask her out. I don't want to wait.

Caitlyn: I-I......S-s-sure.

Roisin smiles and hugs me as  I grabbed my father's old skateboard and exited out of the house as my face is still red and Laura noticed.

Laura: You okay Cat?

Caitlyn: Y-y-yup?

Laura: You know I can tell you is lying by smelling you right?

Caitlyn: L-let's just go!

I started to walk away from Laura in a quick pace as I hear her footsteps following.

(Thirty Minutes Later..)

Me and Laura made it to school as we walked inside we see out friend, Zack sitting on a bench scrolling through his phone as Laura walks over and kicked his leg.

Laura: Oi imbécil. (moron)

Zack: Why you kicked me Laura?

Caitlyn: *walks up to them* Zack, it's Laura. She's a bit of a prick sometimes.

Laura: *looks at me* And your not?

Caitlyn: Only when I'm annoyed, pissed, or have lack of sleep. Unlike you. *pokes her nose*

Laura: *stares at me*

I smiles at her as she just rolled her eyes as me and Zack laughs at her.

Laura: I need better friends.

Zack: Well we are your only friends Laura......You suck at making new friends.

Caitlyn: He's not wrong. Me and you known each other since we was babies and you was terrible at making friends.

Laura: .....I fucking hate the both of you.

Zack: You don't.

Caitlyn: *have an cheeky grin* You love us.

Laura didn't say anything as she walks away from me and Zack as we snicker at each other and follows her into the school.

(Several Hours Later..)

School was over with as I'm riding on the skateboard with Laura and Zack behind me. I was riding a bit and jumps above a bench and lands back down before grabbing a tree and spins around stopping myself.

Caitlyn: So how did I do?

Zack: *walking* An easy eight out of ten. *looks at Laura* What's your rating?

Laura: Six out of ten, very basic.

Caitlyn: Ow my feelings. *crossed my arms*

Before Laura get ti say something police sirens is heard in the distance to where we're at.

Caitlyn: Look at the time. Me and Laura better go home soon. See ya Zack.

Zack: Oh, uh later, guys.

I quickly rides away as Laura follows as we go into an alleyway.

Laura: You better hurry up. I got it, I got it jeez.

I open my bag and take out my spider suit as I saw a dark corner as I sink into it going into my shadow dimension and walks out in my suit as I gives my clothes to Laura.

Caitlyn: See ya back at home.

Laura: Mhm.

I fired two webs at a building and pulled back before launching myself into the air and started web swinging towards where the sirens are coming from. After swinging for a couple of minutes I saw where the police was going to as I saw a couple of crooks firing at the police as one of them spotted me.

Crook#1: Crap it's Spider-Girl!

Caitlyn: Hey you used the hyphen for once. 

They tried to fire their weapons at me but I jumped in the air and fired webs at their guns and takes them away.

Caitlyn: Oops. Sorry, and also.

I then webbed their bags full of cash and pulled them away and webs them to the way.

Crook#2: You brat!

Caitlyn: Sheesh that's not the first time I'm hearing this. Come up with something new.

They runs at me and tried to attack me but I ducked and slides under one and kicked one on their back knocking him to one of his friends as I caught a punch from the third crook and used a shadow punch on him knocking him out.

Caitlyn: *let got of the crook's hand* That's one now for the others.

My spider sense went off as I dodged a punch and webs the crook's face and spined kicked him in the neck as he falls to the ground and fired two webs at the last crook and pulls him to me as i jumps onto his shoulders and throws him to a wall before webbing him up.

Caitlyn: And stay there. *looks at a officer* They're all yours.

Officer#1: Uh, thanks Spider-Girl.

Caitlyn: Anytime.

I then leaves the area and started making my way back home.

(Forty minutes later..)

After dealing with more crime I finally made it home as I lands on top of my house and crawled towards my window and gets inside. I then pulls down my mask.

Caitlyn: Man, that was an long day.

I then hear some voices coming from downstairs as I walks out of my room and looked down stairs and saw someone as I grin.

Fury: *looks at me* Hey there kid.

Caitlyn: Nickie!

I rushed down the stairs and hugs my god father a bit before letting him go.

Caitlyn: What are you doing here?

Fury: Kid, I need you for something.

Caitlyn: And what's that?

He then pulls out a file that have the words 'TESSRACT' above it as I open it up and sees a blue cube. I then looks at Fury.

Fury: It's something important and it was taken from me and I want you to help bring it back.

Caitlyn: Who took it?

Fury: An man by the name of Loki. He's not from around here.

Caitlyn: Okay I'll help you if I get my aunt's permission.

Roisin: You can go.

Caitlyn: *looks at Fury* Can Laura come?

Fury: *looks at Laura*

Laura: Sure whatever.

Caitlyn: Yes!

Roisin: *shakes her head*
