THE MORNING AFTER Derek and Marlo caught up with each other.

Derek went to pick Erica up from the high school after she showed everyone her new look since Marlo let her burrow her clothes because she wanted to feel confident and sexy in peoples eyes.

Marlo decided to start unpacking things in the brand new apartment above Derek's loft.

After messing around with her phone for a while to choose her right playlist to play while cleaning and unpacking awaiting for Derek to come pick her up for their plan tonight.

After Marlo made up the plan for Derek to bite Vernon Boyd and change him into a werewolf, she remembers him from when she was last in Beacon Hills.

Her brother use to talk him occasionally so she knew of him and his home life; of course Derek said he'd turn him as he was following Marlo's orders.

There's a knock on her apartment door and she looks at the entrance confused as she wasn't expecting anyone and no one except for Derek and the two betas knew where she was staying, she answers the door opening it to see Isaac on the other side rubbing the back of his neck.

"Hi, I know this is random but since I'm still a wanted fugitive; Derek suggested I come and help you unpack; if that's okay?" Isaac asks.

"Come in, don't stay out there in the cold hallway Isaac, I don't need help as I'm nearly done but you're welcome anytime to come see me" Marlo replies smiling while walking off to set up the rest of her kitchen supplies.

"Did you want something to drink?" Marlo asks while picking up a few glasses and putting them away in the cupboard, "Just water please" Isaac replies walking into the kitchen where Marlo is, as his looking around to see how she's organised things.

She makes her way over to her fridge to get out the cold water jug she put in there awhile go and fills the two glasses up for both herself and Isaac.

"It might not be cold because I only put the jug in the fridge before but I have ice if you need" she says placing the glass in front of him.

"This is fine, thank you Marlo" Isaac smiles whiling taking sips from his water glass.

She smiles at him and puts away the last of her plates and glasses and then sits beside him sipping her glass as well, "So, tell me Isaac, what is your story?" Marlo asks politely looking at him.

"Father was beating me, he was murdered not to long ago, reason why I'm a fugitive, Derek saved me and turned me into a werewolf, sucks being a fugitive but it's nice not living in fear of my father every minute" Isaac replies.

Marlo looks at him realising how strong he truly is, "Well my brave little beta, you're a strong one, sure does suck about the fugitive thing but you're innocent so they'll figure it out soon" Marlo says and smiles.

While they sit there with the music playing softly in the background, Derek's car pulls up downstairs with both Erica and him inside of it.

"Thanks Derek for this" Erica says to him looking at him looking up checking to see if Marlo is home with his supernatural hearing.

"Of course Erica; oh Marlo's loft is on the fifth floor and I'm sure she would love to hear about your day and showing everyone who's in demand considering they're her clothes" Derek says to Erica signalling for her to leave him alone as he has things to do until he picks Marlo and them up later on.

"Awesome, I'll see you tonight" Erica says getting out of his black camaro and leaving Derek be.

Meanwhile Marlo and Isaac are vibing out to her music taste and laughing at each other's jokes, they both soft knock on the door.

"Can you get that for me Isaac?" She says getting up and walking towards her bathroom.

Isaac doesn't answer and just does it anyways, answering the door seeing Erica on the other side with her new look, "Is Marlo home?" Erica asks.

"Yeah, bathroom break I think, come in" as Isaac steps to the side allowing the second bets inside of Marlo's luxury apartment, "Woah, she did all of this since this morning, insane" Erica says.

"Perks of being a vampire E" Marlo says coming out of the bathroom smiling, "Okay that's awesome, do you guys have super speed?" The betas ask.

"Super speed, healing, strength; basically anything a werewolf can do except for the whole growling and howling at the moon sorta thing" Marlo answers them.

Leaving out the part about the whole werewolf venom could kill vampires, "That's bloody awesome Mar" Erica says.

"Okay I love the nickname, enough about me, how was your return as the new and improved and hot Erica Reyes?" Isaac asks.

"Did you just call me hot?" Erica smirks at Isaac while he goes wide eyed realising his slip up while Marlo sits on her couch just giggling at the two.

"It was awesome Mar, everyone stared and even the guy I had a crush on noticed me too!" Erica says sitting next her while Isaac sits on the one person couch listening to this conversation.

"Crush? That's great E, sounds like you really made an impact with those clothes and confidence skills, I'll take you shopping for new clothes just like that soon, you can burrow anything until then though" Marlo smiles while listening to the teenage beta.

Isaac gets a phone call while the two women are too busy talking about shopping and clothes and realises it's Derek saying he needs him so he politely says goodbye to the two women and slips out her Marlo's apartment; making his way towards his male alpha.

Marlo and Erica continue gossiping about boys and even some girls considering Erica is bisexual.

"So you mentioned a crush before, am I allowed to know now there's no males in the room?" Marlo raises her eyebrows while asking.

"It's Stiles, I always liked Stiles and he was always after Lydia, don't get me wrong she's absolutely beautiful and a badass but she looked shocked at seeing the new me as well" she smiles.

While Marlo sits back adjusting to the sound of that name coming out of Erica's mouth, "Stiles? You mean my little brother Stiles? That goofy, funny, clumsy boy?" Marlo asks Erica.

"Stiles is your brother? Oh my god I'm sorry" Erica says getting embarrassed, "Hey no no, don't be sorry E, it's all good, girl talk is always welcome to whatever subject here don't you worry" Marlo smiles at the younger girl in the room.

"Forgot to mention, you do look hot in those clothes of mine though" Marlo says.

Erica blushes and gets all shy hearing that from Marlo because she finds Marlo stunning, "So Derek's really turning Vernon tonight huh?" Erica asks knowing Marlo will tell her the truth.

"Yeah I mean, I'm pretty sure that's where both Derek & Isaac slipped out to just now to ask him and then the bite will actually happen while all of us are in the ice rink to make sure things go easily and the bite doesn't kill Vernon" Marlo answers Erica straightforwardly.

"Cool, I'm keen to get to know you more Mar, you're confident and hot". Erica says.

A LITTLE WHILE later Derek and Isaac come back saying Vernon wanted the bite and it was definitely happening tonight no interruptions.

The girls had just got back from Erica's visit with Stiles helping her with a little more confidence because Stiles couldn't stop himself from checking Erica's body out and Erica breaking the car Stiles was going to use and knocking him out with the car part.

While the girls get ready and the boys wait rolling their eyes at how long the girls are taking, "Oh my god Marlo and Erica hurry up!" Derek demands.

"Okay sorry, ready" Erica says going to stand beside Isaac while they wait for Marlo.

Marlo stands behind the door for a good five minutes smirking to herself because she knows she's getting on Derek's last nerve, "Marlo if you're not ready in the next thirty seconds, we're leaving without you" Derek says with his grumpy alpha voice.

"Oh boo hoo, chill out sour wolf, I'm ready" Marlo says walking towards the others while Derek stares at what Marlo decided to wear wide eyed and the two betas stare at Derek knowing why his staring at Marlo with the look of love.

"Oh now who's taking the longest? Stop staring and let's go!" Marlo yells outside of Derek's loft.

"Scott's gonna be there." Derek says looking beside him seeing Marlo's reaction, not expecting her to be smirking.

"Perfect, now it's time to show them who's the mastermind behind it all?" Marlo says looking at Derek and the others while smirking.

Isaac and Erica also have smirks on their faces knowing this is what Marlo had planned while Derek looks at Marlo in concern.

"You're not worried he'll go back to Stiles and your father and report everything to them that you're back?" Derek asks.

"Nope, it was coming sooner or later, now let's get this over and done with, hurry up and bite him so we can leave" Marlo demands, "I'll wait here for the perfect timing to enter" Marlo says.

While Derek bites Vernon and the others stand by and watch, Marlo sits in one of the locker rooms in the ice rink arena waiting for that perfect moment to enter and show Scott and possibly his friends whose behind all of the plans; other then Derek biting Isaac.

Hearing Scott enter the rink the alpha and two betas hide in the shadows waiting to hear what Scott has to say to Vernon who's on the resurfacer doing his late night job.

"Boyd!" Scott yells out trying to capture Boyd's attention, "I just want to talk" Scott says while Boyd still ignores him, "Hey, come on Boyd please".

Boyd still moves along on the resurfacer. "Did Derek tell you everything and I don't just mean going out of control on the full moons, I mean everything" Boyd shuts off the machine and says.

"He told me about the hunters" Scott replies "And that's not enough for you to say no? Whatever you want there's other ways to get it" Scott says.

"I just wanna not eat lunch alone every day" Boyd says, "If you're looking for friends, you can do a lot better than Derek" Scott says.

As that's being said Derek and the betas make their way out behind him, "That really hurts, Scott" Derek says from behind him.

Scott turns around shocked Derek, Isaac and Erica are here.

"I mean, if you're going to review me, at least take a consensus" Scott begins to get angry at Derek who begins to talk again, "Erica, how's life been for you since we met?" Derek asks.

"Hmm, in a word, transformative" she growls at Scott while Isaac stands beside her smirking, Scott begins to look at them in slight fear but doesn't show it, "Isaac?" Derek asks.

"Well, I'm a little bummed about being a fugitive, but other than that, I'm great" Isaac says, "Here we all are and yet you don't even know the whole plan and who the mastermind is behind it all" Derek says.

Taking that as her cue to enter the ice rink properly, Marlo makes her entrance, all the werewolves look over to where the footsteps are coming from and even though the alpha and two betas knew this way coming they still turned around with huge smirks on their faces.

Scott's eyes fill with fear and confusion as he sees who's now entering the fight, "Hiya Scott, did you miss me?" Marlo asks smirking, "Okay hold on this isn't exactly a fair fight" Scott says.

"Then go home Scott" Derek says smiling at the others as that's the cue to go, Isaac and Erica begin walking towards Scott and Boyd smirking.

Scott growls and punches the ground letting them know he's  transformed into his werewolf form and says "I meant fair for them".

Scott roars and a fight breaks out between the betas and Scott, Scott happens to be winning throwing Isaac across the ice landing harshly on the window, and Erica who is still putting up a fight.

Scott kicks her against the ice resurfacer and knocks her down, Isaac gets up from being thrown and makes his way back over to his friend and Scott ready to fight again and cracks his fingers and his knuckles showing his now angry and harshly throws Scott against the machine a few times and throws him away from him making Scott slide on the ice.

They both growl at each other, meanwhile Marlo and Derek are standing back watching this happen seeing how well the two betas can fight.

Boyd just sits back and watches as well amazed with the supernatural but confused as well.

Scott unaware of the bite mark left on Boyd side continues fighting Isaac and Erica and seems to begin winning knocking both betas on the ground.

Isaac and Erica both groan while on the ground completely giving up because they're sore and in a weak state.

Derek smiles looking at Marlo, "Don't you get it? He's not doing this for you, he's just adding to his own power okay? It's all about him, he makes you feel like his giving you some kind of gift, when all his done is turn you into a bunch of guard dogs" Scott angrily says.

Picking both Isaac and Erica up and sliding them over to Derek and Marlo's feet.

The alpha and vampire both laugh knowing what was coming, "It's true, it is about power" Derek says, stepping over the betas and begins walking towards Scott.

"Show him who's the alpha Derek" Marlo says crossing her arms to her chest.

Derek flips out his hand to show his claws while walking to Scott, his red eyes start flowing as he begins showing his power, cocking his head and transforming into his alpha wolf form.

Derek roars lowly, Scott begins taking slow strides backwards now aware of Derek's angry glance.

Derek head-butts Scott making him grunt in pain and step a step backwards.

The alpha then swipes his claws alongside Scott's torso, he continues punching and kicking the McCall boy while Marlo stands in the background making sure Erica and Isaac are both okay, as she kind of feels for those two.

Isaac gets up at about the same time Scott manages to elbow Derek in the face angering the alpha even more as the fight starts to end because the alpha seems to be the only one winning.

Both the betas stand beside Marlo and wonder why she's not fighting. "Hey Mar, why didn't you fight?" Erica asks.

"Not the time or place for me to get involved in this drama of theirs, yeah I might be the mastermind behind it all and make the decisions, I wouldn't fight a teenage boy unless they tried hunting me first" Marlo says and the two betas look out her in awe knowing she's not someone who is a heartless vampire who just wants someone's blood.

They're amazed with their Alpha after seeing his doing to Scott. Marlo however rushes forwards and throws Derek off of the teenage boy.

"You might want to knock it off before you kill the boy Derek" Marlo snarls at the alpha.

"Oh come on, he said all that harsh things about me before and you never stood up for me" Derek angrily snarls back at the brunette.

"He might've said those things earlier but you've won okay? You've shown the boy who the alpha and mastermind are being myself but you just had your foot to a sixteen year old boys throat" Marlo says getting up and pushing the alpha backwards towards their two betas.

"Okay I'm sorry" he whispers, Scott groans in pain behind them while Marlo calms the alpha down, "It's okay Der, just remember how old he is".

Vernon Boyd gets down off the ice resurfacer and makes his way over to Scott—he looks to make sure the boy is okay but also to see Scott's reaction to his bite.

"Don't, you don't wanna be like them" Scott says to him, Boyd looks at him and says "You're right" lifting up his shirt.

"I wanna be like you" walking off to the others as they're waiting for him so they can leave.

Marlo beside Derek as the two betas plus now their third joining their side and they walk towards to exit.

"Okay so what would you like to be called since I've been calling you Vernon to the others?" Marlo asks tilting her head in question towards the third beta.

"Call me Boyd, all my friends do, and I'm sure you're one of them now" he smiles at Marlo.

"Okay welcome to the pack Boyd, my name is Marlo, but I'm sure you already know knowing my brother and all" she smiles giving the teenage beta a high-five.

"Yeah Stiles right?" He asks walking beside her while the others are in the front, Derek looking back at them making sure they're still following.

"Yep Stiles who happens to be Scott's best friend and doesn't even know I'm back in Beacon Hills" she says a little too quickly but the beta smiles and laughs.

"Well it's not going to much of a secret anymore" he says looking back at the rink arena where she previously saw the McCall beta wolf.

"Yeah tell me about it" she rolls her eyes playfully. "So are you a werewolf as well as them?" Boyd asks.

"Nope, I'm a vampire—one of the originals" she smirks at his reaction of shock, "Oh that's sick!" He laughs.

"Okay you two, we're going to get food, you tagging along?" Derek calls out from in front of them.

"Oh we're coming, I'm starving!" Marlo yells out skipping towards Derek and jumping on his back not even scaring the alpha as he knows what she's like.

"Don't worry Lo, there's blood at your apartment for you, I got it earlier" he says letting her know.

"Thank you Der-Bear" she says kissing his cheek knowing how much he hates being called 'Der-bear', "Told you to never call me that" he says poking her thigh.

She laughs out loud while she gets off his back going towards her new car Derek got her earlier today so she can drive around places instead of walking.

Erica basically bolts towards the passenger seat of the woman's car so she's not the only female in Derek's.

Although Marlo doesn't mind at all considering she feels an extreme bond with Erica.

"Okay so I'll you three losers at the restaurant, see you soon Der-Bear, Isaac and Boyd" Marlo calls out towards Derek smirking knowing she's gonna get poked again at the restaurant because of the nickname she used.

Marlo and Erica get in the new car, "Oh E, you can connect your phone cause my playlists suck" Marlo says to Erica.

"Oh yes I have this perfect song for us two!" Erica squeals in excitement never having this close of a friendship with a woman before.

Yes Marlo might be older than her by a few years, she feels a bond with her no one could ever replace.

"E, where did you end up taking my unconscious brother earlier today?" Marlo asks laughing, "Oh a dumpster, whoops" Erica quickly replies.

Both girls giggle, "I wish you could've fought Mar, you could've shown me how strong you're at fighting" Erica says making conversation until the restaurant.

"Until someone physically hurts one of you guys, that's including Derek or me, I probably won't step in because fun fact, werewolf venom is extremely poisonous towards vampire so if I'm bitten I could be killed" Marlo says explaining to Erica.

"Oh I'm sorry I said anything" the female beta says, "E, don't apologise you were curious and that's why earlier when we were at the rink with Derek squishing Scott's throat I stepped in, I know how it feels to be hurt and vulnerable towards your enemy" Marlo says quietly hating those memories.

Erica notices the way her older friend's mood dropped so she changes the subject, "Okay let's go shopping tomorrow Mar" Erica says.

"Of course, I need to find some new clothes for you and myself, my closet is dry" Marlo comments giggling.

"Okay genuine question, have you ever been with Derek?" Erica asks.

Marlo looks at her in shock, Erica smirks at the reaction she got out of her older friend.

"You can't tell him I told you E, I'm serious, we were together for a while three years ago but something happened and I ran away from him and blocked his number" Marlo says.

"Oh now I am sorry, that explains the looks he gives you when you're not looking though" Erica says shrugging her shoulders laughing.

"What look?" Marlo curiously asks, "Oh nothing, just a look" Erica smirks.

The rest of the car ride is full of gossip and laughter and a friendship that is rough to break is officially formed.

Secrets were told and memories were made.

They soon arrive at the restaurant noticing the boys getting out of Derek's smiling and Marlo looks at Derek wishing he'd show that a lot more even though his past and his family was taken from him, he will forever have his three betas and her from now, she wasn't going anywhere.

"What's got you all smiley and happy Der-Bear" Marlo asks coming up beside the alpha, she receives a poke to the side and a little nudge from one of the males hips for the nickname but other than that they both laugh as they enter the restaurant ordering their food and the teens order their food as well.

This is how Marlo loved seeing Derek and her new family of three beta werewolves be, this night is forever one in her memory books.

She takes a bunch of photos of the three young teens with silly faces, serious faces and even one where she says act like Derek.

She even gets a few with just Derek and absolutely loves them as well considering his not one for photos nor does he even smile in them but these are full of smiles and some even Erica took were of them laughing.

If only they know things weren't going to be easy and there were many threats ahead and so many coming in the future
