episode twelve

THE AFTERMATH OF the championship game is now in full swing as Jackson is officially declared dead.

Stiles is now a missing person, which is worrying Marlo, Scott and others especially Noah Stilinski, his been doing extra hard work at trying find his son.

As Melissa goes to the hospital with Jackson's body finding it suspicious that he would've done that damage to himself.

As for the rest of them, Stilinski is discussing things with them "I gotta meet with the medical examiner and try and figure out what happened with Jackson, I got an APB out on Stiles, his jeep is still in the packing lot, so that means-aw hell, I don't know what that means; um look if he answers his phone, if he answers his emails, if either of one of you see him--" Stilinski says.

"We'll call you" Isaac says looking over at Marlo who is on the other side of the room being questioned due to her being the one as well as Melissa doing cpr and trying to save Jackson.

"Look his probably just freaked out from all the attention or something, we'll find him" Scott says as Marlo makes her way over to the boys and her father.

"Yeah; I'll see you okay?" Stilinski says hugging Marlo and walking away; as soon as Coach notices the sheriff is done with Scott he walks over.

"McCall, we need you on the team, okay? You know I can't put on the field next season if you don't get your grades up" Coach says; "Yeah, I know, Coach." Scott says.

"I mean, I know I yell a lot, but it's not like I hate you guys, well I kinda hate Greenburg but, you know; that's different, It's Greenburg, I'm just saying we, I need you on the team, get your grades back up" Coach says.

"I will" Scott says; "I know" Coach murmurs, "Coach I know you don't know me but I'd be happy to tutor him?" Marlo asks.

"Oh I know you Marlo, I remember you from high school, that would be great if you could tutor and help him; you were always a smart student of mine" Coach replies smiling at the woman.

Marlo just nods and goes back over to Scott and Isaac; now that everyone has left the locker room; "Is that everyone?" Scott asks; "I think so" Isaac says.

He then turns around to see that Scott has ripped the locker off it's hinges and just looks at Marlo who shrugs and helps the teenage boy look through some things; "You're gonna find him by scent?" Isaac asks.

"Yeah, we both are, and Marlo can just drive us?" Scott says looking at the woman who is already nodding, "How come you get his shirt and I get his shoe?" Isaac asks Scott.

Scott who notices Marlo staring at someone; now realising she's staring at Derek; he looks at her and she just shrugs. "We need to talk" Derek says.

"All of us" Peter says stepping out from hiding; "Oh for fuck sakes" Marlo just sighs, "Holy sh-" Scott goes to say before getting a look from the woman before finishing his sentence with the 'sh' sound.

"What the hell is this?" Scott asks now walking toward; "You know I thought the same thing when we saw you talking to Gerard at the Sheriff's Station; just confused on why Marlo is here and not with Peter and I" Derek says.

"Okay, hold on; he threatened to kill my mom and I had to get close to him, what was I supposed to do?" Scott says.

"I'm here because I'm a grown woman and I watched my brother play his first game and Isaac nearly got killed and I protected him and I knew eventually Scott would tell me the truth, where were you huh? When your beta was nearly cut in half?" Marlo says fist bumping the teenage boy who smiles at the woman.

"I'm gonna go with Scott on this one, have you seen his mom? She's gorgeous" Peter says.

"Shut up!" Marlo, Derek and Scott say, "Who is he?" Isaac asks Marlo and Scott.

"Go ahead, steal the glory" Marlo says with her hands, Scott just chuckles.

While Derek looks at the woman in confusion and she stares back at him and shrugs; "What?" She mumbles.

He just shakes his head, "Oooo someone's a grumpy ass" Marlo says,
"It's Peter, Derek's uncle, a little while back he tried to kill us all and then we set him on fire and Derek slashed his throat" Scott says.

"Sucks that I missed that" Marlo whispers, "Hi" Peter waves, "That's good to know" Isaac says swallowing, "How is he alive?" Scott asks.

"Look, the short version is he knows how to stop Jackson, maybe how to save him, another question is why didn't Marlo here tell you about him being alive if you're suddenly best friends forever" Derek says as Marlo rolls her eyes at the alpha's jealousy.

"Oh please Der-bear; there's plenty of me to share around, plus didn't really have time to tell them" Marlo shrugs.

"Well, that's very helpful, except Jackson's dead" Isaac says, both Peter and Derek look at them in question and Derek looks at Marlo:

"What?" He says, "Yeah, Jackson's dead" she says, "It just happened on the field" Scott finishes.

Derek looks back at Peter who is closing his eyes; "Okay, why is no one taking this as good news?" Isaac asks.

"Because if Jackson is dead, it didn't just happen, Gerard wanted it to happen" Peter says; "But why?" Derek asks now curious as well.

"Well, that's exactly what we need to figure out. And something tells me the window of opportunity is closing, quickly." Peter states.

Soon after the discussion with Derek and Peter; Marlo splits up from them and goes to the hospital to help Melissa with Jackson's body.

"How do we do this?" Marlo whispered to the older woman who took a shaky breath pulling back the curtain of where the boys body is currently lying in a body bag.

"I just want to check something and see if I'm right" Melissa says; Marlo just nods and walks beside her to the body bag.

They soon realise that there's kanima venom on the ground leaking from the bag itself; Marlo now inhales; "Oh god, are we gonna do this?" Melissa asks.

"Yeah we're gonna do this. Okay" Marlo replies, Melissa then begins undoing the zipper slowly; revealing what's left underneath.

Scott, Derek, Isaac and Peter return back to the burnt Hale house; "Oh, oh, they found Stiles" Scott says in relief. "Look, I told you I looked everywhere" Derek says.

"You didn't look here" Peter says pulling a piece of wood off the staircase and grabbing out a chess like thing and blowing off the dusk; "What is that, a book?" Derek asks.

"No. It's a laptop, what century are you living in? A few days after I got out of the coma I transferred everything we had.

Fortunately, the Argents aren't the only ones that keep records" Peter says grabbing the laptop and going into the makeshift living room; while Scott's phone begins ringing and he walks off to take it.

"Hey Mom, Marlo, I can't talk right now" Scott says, "Well yeah, well, we're so freaked out that we can barely talk either." Melissa replies, "What's wrong?" Scott asks.

"Something, definitely something, we don't know what, but we think you're gonna wanna see this for yourself" Melissa says to her son while Marlo is still looking at what looks like a cocoon of venom surrounding Jackson's body.

Fifteen minutes later; Scott and Issac arrive at the morgue and look at Jackson in horror; "What's happening to him?" Scott asks.

"We thought that you were gonna tell us, is it bad?" Melissa says speaking for Marlo who is standing beside Isaac.

"It doesn't look good" Scott says, as 'woah's' are heard around the room; due to Jackson moving; "Um Mom or Marlo, could you zip it up, please?" Scott asks scared.

"Okay" Melissa says grabbing the zipper again; "Okay, okay, okay, here we go" Melissa says zipping the bag up now; only for it to get stuck near Jackson's mouth.

Scott's eyes widen in fear; as he hisses and teeth are revealed; the word zip is repeated about ten more times before the bodybag is fully done up and all of those in the room let out breaths.

Those at the hospital begin to get ready to move Jackson somewhere other than the hospital in case things end up being bad which will probably end up happening.

Marlo then calls Derek to update him; Derek who picks up straight away; "Hey, so here's some updates you might want to tell Peter as well" Marlo says.

Derek now begins repeating what Marlo tells him to Peter; "They say he's in some kind of transparent casing made from the venom coming out of his claws" Derek says still listening to Marlo over the phone.

"That sounds sufficiently terrifying" Peter says, "They also say he's starting to move" Derek says and hangs up the phone once Marlo says goodbye.

"Okay, look, I think I found something, looks like what you've seen from Jackson is just the kanima's beta shape" Peter says.

"Oh, meaning what, he can turn into something bigger?" Derek wonders looking at the laptop screen.

"Bigger and badder" Peter says eyes wide in fear; "He's turning into that? That has wings" Derek says concerned.

"I can see that" Peter says; while Derek rings Scott hoping for him to pick up his phone, "Scott, bring him to us" Derek says.

"I'm not sure if we have time for that" Scott says watching the bag continue to move; as Peter continues searching on his laptop.

"Look, somebody actually made an animation of it; maybe it's less frightening if we-" Peter says playing the animation only for them to close the laptop sharing terrified glances.

"Nope, not at all, I don't know we should probably meet them half way" Peter says.

"Scott, get him out of there right now. Go now" Derek says hanging up the phone and walking to the door to leave and meet up with them.

Scott and Isaac begin taking the bodybag with Jackson inside of it down to the car park where Marlo's car is waiting; "Wait" Scott says poking his head around watching someone walk by.

"Okay, go, go, go, go" He says they manage to get quite a fair way through the car park until Scott accidentally drops the bodybag and the boys look at each other in fear as Scott picks it up again; only for them to see a black car pulling in behind them.

The car stops and Chris Argent gets out staring straight at Marlo who is now behind Isaac, "Derek we need Lydia." Peter says, "There's no time" Derek says.

"That's the problem, we're rushing, we're moving too fast and while everybody knows that a moving target is harder to hit, here we are racing right into Gerard's crosshairs" Peter says.

"If I get the chance to kill Jackson, I'm taking it" Derek says, "Even if that means killing Marlo while doing it?" Peter asks capturing the alpha's attention now.

"What do you mean kill Marlo?" Derek asks, "Gerard knows how to play with fire Derek, if you take away his power; he will take away your girl" Peter says walking over the car.

Derek growls and swears on his life if anything happens to Marlo he will be beyond pissed off.

"You're alone" Scott says to the hunter in front of them; "More than you know." Chris replies.

"What do you want?" Scott asks, "We don't have much in common, Scott, but at the moment we have a common enemy" Chris says.

Scott nods; "That's why we're trying to get him out of here" Scott says.

"I didn't mean Jackson, Gerard has twisted his way into Allison's head; the same way he did with Kate; I'm losing her. And I know you're losing her too" Chris says.

"You're right, so can you trust me to fix this?" Scott asks, Chris nods slowly.

"Then, can you let us go?" Scott asks again. "No, my cars faster" Chris replies earning a scoff from Marlo behind them.

"Sorry-sorry, thanks Chris" she puts her hands up in surrender; Chris just nods as they all get in the argents vehicle and head to their destination.

The old warehouse's is their final spot; the boys plus Marlo and Chris; arrive at the location; "I think he stopped moving" Isaac says looking at the in concern; "Where's Derek?" Chris asks.

Scott and Marlo look around seeing Derek running to them in the most awkward and embarrassing way possible; "Oh for the love of god" Marlo mumbles out scoffing not knowing Peter was doing the exact same thing and nearly the same response as well.

"I'm here for Jackson, not you." Chris says, "Somehow, I don't find that very comforting" Derek says to the Argent.

"Get him inside" Derek says looking at Marlo as the boys nod and reverse the car into the warehouse.

"Where are they?" Scott asks, "Who?" Derek asks, "Peter and Lydia" Scott answers.

Derek begins opening the bag Jackson is currently laying in; "Okay, well, hold on a second; you said you knew how to save him." Scott says.

"We're past that" Derek states, "What about, what about--" Scott goes to question only for Derek to interrupt saying.

"Think about it, Scott, Gerard controls him now, he's turned Jackson into his own personal guard dog; he set all of this in motion so that Jackson could get even bigger and more powerful" Derek says.

"No, no he wouldn't do that, if Jackson's a dog, he's turning rabid and my father wouldn't let a rabid dog live" Chris states, "Of course not" Gerard says behind everyone.

"Anything that dangerous, that out of control, he's better off dead." Gerard says to them all.

Derek goes to slash Jackson's throat; the kanima reacts quickly and pushes his claws into Derek's chest.

"Derek!" Marlo yells out as Derek is thrown into another part of the warehouse.

"Well done to the last, Scott, like the concerned friend you are, you brought Jackson to Derek to save him, you just didn't realise that were also bringing Marlo and Derek to me" Gerard says as a arrow whizzes by Scott and lands into Isaac's shoulder blade.

The beta falling onto the ground in pain; "Isaac!" Marlo says rushing down to him.

"Come on" Marlo says picking the boy up and dragging him and Scott away after realising it's Allison firing the arrows.

After Marlo helped the boys run off she ran over to where Derek was and helped him heal really quickly with pain and her blood; she smiled and helped Isaac as well getting the arrow out of his shoulder.

Derek flipping over the warehouse equipment now in his full alpha wolfwolf form growls at the kanima only to have both the betas and Marlo transform as well ready for the battle.

The werewolves put up a pretty good fight and continue fighting even though they're in pain.

Derek of course being the alpha fights the most doing stunts to get the kanimas attention away from the betas and vampire.

The kanima ends up slitting Derek's torso and he falls paralysed to the floor but not before Marlo catches him putting him down gently; the kanima still ready to fight.

Isaac gets up ready to fight seeing his alpha hurt and weak only for Allison to come up to him and cut him with her blades she owns leaving deep wounds on his stomach and back; "Allison! Stop!" Marlo screams out.

As she sees both Marlo and Derek on the floor one injured and the other not she prepared herself to walk forward and kill Derek and let Marlo watch.

"No! Allison wait!" Scott yells out only for the kanima to come up behind her and grab onto her throat.

"Not yet sweetheart" Gerard says. "What are you doing?" Allison asks scared now she's in the kanimas grips.

"He's doing what he came here to do" Scott says, "Then you know?" Gerard asks, "What is he talking about?" Allison asks.

"It was the night outside the hospital, wasn't it? When I threatened your mother; I knew I saw something in your eyes. You could smell it, couldn't you?" Gerard says.

"He's dying" Isaac says using his senses now; "I am, I have been for a while now, unfortunately, science doesn't have a cure for cancer yet. But the supernatural does" Gerard says.

Allison lets out a sob but gasp and the Kanima grabs onto her even tighter, "You monster" Chris says.

"Not yet" Gerard says, "What are you doing?" Allison asks, "You'll kill her too?" Chris asks tearfully.

"When it comes to survival, I'd kill my own son" The old man says,
"Wow you really do deserve to die don't you; you monster" Marlo grits out.

"Same goes for you Marlo, you deserve death too" Gerard says walking over the vampire now.

"Scott" He says leaving the people in the warehouse confused.

Scott lets out a grunt before looking at Derek; Scott then looks around at the people and makes his way to Marlo finally giving her a guilty look before walking up the Derek and grabbing his neck.

"Scott, don't you know? He's gonna kill me and Marlo right afterwards; he'll be an alpha" Derek says in pain.

"That's true, but I think he already knows that, don't you Scott? He knows that the ultimate prize is Allison, do this small task for me and they can be together; you two are the only pieces that don't fit Derek and Marlo; and in case you guys haven't learned yet, there is just no competing with young love" Gerard says taking off his jacket.

"Scott, don't" Derek says, "I'm sorry, but I have to" Scott says forcing Derek's mouth open enough for the bite to take effect.

Derek has no choice but to bite down onto the old man's arm and he lets out a massive yell of agonising pain; before Scott lets Derek go and he falls to the ground.

Marlo immediately rushes up to him again letting him fall back into her; "I didn't know; I'm sorry" Marlo says with tears falling down her cheeks.

"I know Lo, I know" Derek says, "Ahh God" Gerard says holding his arm into the sky, smiling but not noticing the black blood running down his arm now; he looks at his arm in confusion.

"What is this? What did you do?" He mumbles out to the teenage boy; "Everyone said Gerard always had a plan, I had a plan too" Scott says looking at the older man as he drops his jacket and grab onto the pill container checking them out.

"No, no, mountain ash" Gerard crushes the tablets in his hand while screaming; before starting to bleed form his nose, eyes and ears, throwing up a massive amount of the black substance that just entered through his bloodstream before hitting the floor in exhaustion.

"Why didn't you tell me? Or at least Marlo?" Derek asks from Marlo's lap.

"Because you might be an alpha; but you're not mine, I would've told you Marlo but you would've told Derek" Scott replies; Marlo just continues looking at the beta in a dirty way.

"And here I was saying to Derek we should fucking trust you and now you've broken not only Derek's trust, but mine as well; I thought we were over this bullshit Scott" Marlo seethes out.

"We are, this just was a plan set in motion a few weeks ago and I didn't want things to be ruined" Scott mumbles to the woman his grown to like having around.

Marlo just scoffs and helps Derek up and walks over the Isaac as well; "You okay I?" Marlo asks receiving a nod in response before she hugs the boy.

Gerard who is still on the floor spitting up the mountain ash; yells out to the kanimas "Kill them, Kill them all!".

He soon passes out from the exhaustion leaving the kanima vulnerable for a minute and still holding onto Allison, she then elbows it in the face and gets free; before Stiles's jeep comes rushing through knocking the kanima down.

"Did I get him?" Stiles asks with one eye open; as the kanima jumps onto the bonnet of the jeep snarling at the two in the main two seats, Stiles screams before getting out of the vehicle and rushing over to his friends.

"Jackson! Jackson" Lydia says using his Christian name just as the kanima is ready to attack her she holds up the key to Jackson's house and the recognition crosses over his face.

Jackson coming back in his human form is now shown in front of the others alongside Lydia.

Marlo steps forward to comfort her brother as well who is crying, she wraps her arms around him.

Derek getting enough strength to fully stand up without someone's help like Marlo, signals for Peter to come forward as well, pushing their claws into his stomach and back; Lydia, Marlo, Scott, Stiles and the rest of them gasps as it happens.

Marlo shedding a few tears as well; once they're done with what they were doing; Lydia catches the dying boy in her arms helping him make his way down to the ground.

Derek now stepping backwards puts his hand on Isaac's shoulders to support him during this time; he looks over at Marlo as well seeing she's looking at him; she rushes over hugging him.

"Do you, do you still-" Jackson's begins asking; "Yeah I do" Lydia says crying; "I do still love you, I do" nodding her head; as she catches the boys head in her shoulder signalling his now died.

Lydia sobs out; and rubs her hands up and down the boys hair resting him on the ground in front of them; still sobbing.

Marlo wraps her arms around Derek's torso tighter, allowing her tears to fall for the girls pain.

As Lydia turns around, Stiles goes to comfort her only for everyone to hear claws scratching on the ground signalling there is signs of life.

Jackson's eyes open to the shade of blue and his body is lifted as a sign of being resurrected.

Marlo looks at Derek in confusion and also still with wet eyelashes. Jackson begins roaring into the sky as a werewolf now with blue eyes.

He looks straight at Lydia when his transformation is completed and she runs straight into his arms hugging him as tight as possible.

Marlo smiles and rests her head on Derek's shoulder, "I think you have a new beta Der" Marlo says.

Derek just softly chuckled looking at what just happened in pure amazement.

"Guess we have a new beta Lo" Derek says playfully shoving his shoulder into hers.

DEREK, MARLO, ISAAC and Peter all make their way towards the old Hale House—and walk up the front door to see a symbol, "You guys haven't told him everything yet, have you?" Peter asks.

Isaac looks at Peter and the others, "What do you mean?" He asks looking at Derek and Marlo now.

"Why do you think Derek called Marlo and was in such a hurry to build his pack? So eager to strengthen his power in his number, when there's a new alpha, people take notice." Peter says leaning against a tree.

"People like who?" Isaac asks looking at his alpha and vampire leader alongside Peter again seeing them eyeing the symbol on the door now.

"What is this? What does this mean?" Isaac asks again; "It's their symbol and it means they're coming" Derek answers.

"Who?" Isaac asks, "Alphas" Derek says, "More than one?" Isaac asks; "A pack of them" Marlo says.

"An alpha pack and they're not coming, they're already here" Peter states, while Marlo looks at the symbol darkly knowing what it means.

"Great, more chaos to go through" Marlo smirks, "Hey; at least we have each other" Derek says hugging her not seeing the two other werewolves looking at them like it's completely obvious.

"I bet they get together in the next twelve months" Peter says to Isaac who just looks at the former alpha and says "Nah I bet you anything they get together within the next few months; let's give it 5 months" the beta shrugs.

Three days later Derek makes his way over to Marlos apartment; "Do you wanna go on a trip for three weeks Lo?" Derek asks entering her apartment.

"Ooo, where too?" Marlo says looking up from her laptop; "Anywhere, let's just in the car and drive" Derek shrugs as Marlo gets up from her bed and grabs a bag to pack some of her clothes.

"Let's do it" Marlo says heading for her apartment door, Derek just smiles and signals for them to go his car and drive off into the sunset.

"Let's go to San Francisco for something different" Marlo says adjusting her seat making her more comfortable.

"Sure thing Lo, let's go to San Fransisco for a few weeks" Derek says smiling at the woman he has in his passenger seat.

Unknown to them and Scott and Stiles, a new family have decided to move to town alongside the alpha pack, who would've known so many supernaturals would be coming to beacon hills? as the days go by and the new deputy joins the beacon hills sheriff department.

What will happen in the future when Marlo realises her old flame and the person who betrayed her and got her bitten has moved to Beacon Hills alongside his stepfather who is Marlo's sire and the reason she is supernatural in the first place.

Who knew so many secrets would come out in time, like who Marlo's birth father is and how she has more things in her supernatural life to experience in the future.
