008 — party guessed

season two —
episode nine

AS THE FULL moon is approaching Derek and Marlo get the betas ready but not only that.

Scott as well, keeping him up to date with the plan and how things are going to go.

Scott enters the abandoned train station not caring about the current time of night wanting to speak to both Derek and Marlo.

He notices Marlo first sipping on a bottle of red wine; he looks at her a second time and realises it's not wine; it's blood.

Marlo who now notices the teenage boy quickly swallows the last mouthful and apologises for the sight.

It's not that she's embarrassed or anything about drinking blood.

It's more she doesn't want those around her looking at her like she's disgusting or in fear because of the blood.

"I promise you, that's out of a package and not someone" she says to the boy feeling a need to explain herself.

"It's all good Marlo, I know you don't feed off humans and get the bloodbags from Derek" Scott says to the woman, as she sighs out in relief and smiles.

"Derek is downstairs; you're more than welcome" Marlo says motioning behind her down the staircase.

The alpha who already heard Scott makes his way up meeting him halfway.

Derek is quite worried about the whole plan; and how things are going to go unlike Marlo—who sits unbothered.

"I'm saying we need a new plan, because next time one of us is gonna be too hurt to heal" Derek says to the boy following him into the train; as his still preparing for the full moon Wednesday night.

"Ugh, I get it; we can't save Jackson" Scott says; Derek sits down on the train seats behind them before saying.

"We can't see to kill him either—I've seen a lot of things, Scott, I've never see anything like this, every new moon's just gonna make him stronger" Derek says out of exhaustion and having no ideas left.

"But how do we stop him?" Scott asks never seeing Derek this down and drained before; Derek shrugs "I don't know, I don't even know if we can" he says.

"Yeah, maybe we should just let the Argents handle it" Scott says; "I'm the one who turned him. It's my fault" Derek mumbles.

"Yeah but you didn't turn him into this; I mean this happened because of something in his past, right?" Scott asks.

Marlo who has now entered the train; "That's a legend in a book; it's not that simple" she says looking at Derek who just looks up at them both now.

"What do you mean? What are you both not telling me?" Scott asks; "Why do you think I'm always keeping something from you?" Derek asks with an offended look on his face.

"Because you both always are keeping something from me" Scott says in a huff. "Well, maybe we do it to protect you" Marlo says.

"Doesn't being part of your pack mean no more secrets?" Scott says looking down. "Go home, Scott, sleep, heal, make sure your friends are safe, cause the full moons coming; and the way things are going, I've got a feeling it's gonna be a rough one" Derek says looking at the vampire now showing his fear which he barely ever does.

Marlo reaches out and puts her hand on his shoulder and hugs him, "Oh by the way Scott, thank you so much for saving my life" Marlo says meaning from earlier in the night considering how late it was now.

"No worries at all, even though it was all Derek and Deaton" the teenage boys smiles; "That's wrong; I didn't know she was poisoned until you told me so you did save her life in a way" Derek says to Scott.

Scott who smiles at them both and leaves going home to sleep and heal like Derek suggested he does.

"And you Lo, really need rest, when you find out someone's leaving their loft you don't usually follow them" Derek says looking at the vampire and his friend to his side still hugging him half asleep.

"Didn't want you feeling alone and I promise I'm fine; just weak at the moment" Marlo says getting up now smiling cheekily at the male.

"And you Der-bear, should really sleep too ya know?" Marlo says going upstairs getting her bag and other things and going downstairs to see the alpha again in his own world smiling.

She tilts her head and knocks on the metal of the door; "Come on Der; let's go home" Marlo says holding her hand out gesturing for him to grab him.

He smiles and gets up leaving the chairs and others things for later on that day; he could use some sleep.

They get in his car considering Marlo ran to the building and scared the shit out of the alpha werewolf and she made the joke shouldn't a wolf know she was coming.

He didn't tell her though he was in his own little world imagining all the bad things that would've happened if he lost her tonight, "I'm driving" Marlo says.

"Oh no you're not Lo, you're running off zero energy and I don't feel like being in a car wreck" Derek says from the drivers seat.

Marlo stiffens and goes pale at the words 'Car wreck' but immediately breaks out of those thoughts and smiles at the alpha and just turns on the radio and gets the aux cord for her phone.

As her favourite song comes on she laughs and just runs her hands through the air in wave motions.

Derek now falling more in love with her than he already was; although he'd deny it if anyone ever asked.

The next morning comes around Derek and Marlo wake up around noon getting a few hours of sleep into their bodies; kind of refreshed for the day.

As they told Erica, Isaac and Boyd to meet them both at the abandoned train station at four for a pack meeting.

Just as Marlo finishes her shower she hears her apartment door open and close signalling someone just entered; "I think it's time I get some security cameras honestly" Marlo says out loud.

"Oh why would you do that? Don't like me just swinging by and scaring you like you do to me?" Stiles says, "No, I don't. Especially when I'm naked and vulnerable" Marlo grits out closing her bedroom door to put on her clothes.

"Yeah my bad sorry Marlo" Stiles says. "It's fine; just text me next time you're coming over please" Marlo says entering through her bedroom doorway into the living room now and smiles at her brother; "Okay what's up?" She asks.

"Just wanted to spend some quality time with my older sister without all this crazy werewolf crap happening around us" Stiles says slumping onto her couch.

"Kind of hard when there's a full moon on its way and your best friend's a werewolf" Marlo says sitting beside the teenager.

Stiles just sighs; "You know I was offered the bite?" He says admitting it, "Ah what? No!" Marlo says.

"Yeah, before Peter died; he offered me the bite because he thought I was jealous of Scott" Stiles mumbles, "Well, are you?" Marlo asks.

"I was at first, but now I just sit back and experience the supernatural and think it's all too crazy for my liking" Stiles says not realising what he just said.

"Shit sorry Marlo, kinda forgot you were a vampire" Stiles says looking at her and laughing, "Yeah all good Mieczysław" Marlo says, "Don't call me that, I don't like it" Stiles grits out.

After a few hours of just catching up with each other Derek comes up to her apartment and asks if she was ready; Stiles left about ten minutes ago needing to talk to Scott; "You ready Lo?" Derek asks.

"Mhm, let's do this, now I'm driving" snatching the keys out of Derek's front pocket of his pants.

"Yeah okay, don't crash my car though" Derek says following her outside into the buildings elevator. She turns towards the alpha and smirks.

"Oh; by the way, be more careful with where you put your car keys because I felt something earlier" Marlo says smirking down to his crotch area; "Lo! It was my keys!" Derek says looking at the woman in offensiveness.

"Ha, well Der-Besr, kinda forgot I've seen and felt it before huh?" Marlo says exciting the elevator strutting off towards his car.

"Fuck me; you're gonna kill me" Derek seethes out looking at the woman walking away.

They soon arrive at the station after a ten minutes drive and tension between the two.

Marlo still smirking because she knows she's making him flustered, as their moment is cut short; they immediately turn serious walking in to see the betas waiting around together.

"Hey Mar!" Erica says excitedly seeing the older woman tagged along with Derek; "Hey E" Marlo smiles.

"Hi boys" she says, "Hey M, Hey Marlo" Isaac and Boyd say.

Marlo looks at Boyd and Isaac and smiles before walking beside the alpha after he got the chess out again; opening it revealing his pack member and family symbol; the triskelion.

"What is that?" Isaac asks tracing the symbol, Boyd immediately says "It's a triskele, spirals mean different things; past, present and future; mother, father, child." Earning amazed looks off Marlo and Derek; "You know what it means to me?" Derek asks.

"Alpha, beta, omega?" Boyd guesses. "That's right" Marlo says as Derek looks at the boy with a small smile.

"It's a spiral, reminds us that we can all rise to one or fall to another; betas can become alphas, but alphas can also become betas or even omegas" Derek says looking at the two betas to one of his sides; "Like Scott?" Isaac asks.

"Scott's with us" Marlo says. "Really? Then where is he now?" Isaac asks her and Derek.

"He's looking for Jackson; don't worry; he's not gonna have it easy tonight either, none of us will, except Marlo, there's a price you pay for this kind of power, you get the ability to heal; but tonight you're gonna want to kill anything you can find, that's the reason Lo is going to be upstairs away from the madness down here" Derek says looking at Marlo and she smiles.

Derek hands Isaac the chains; "Good thing I had my period last week, then" Erica says earning and laugh from Marlo; "Amen to that!" She says smirking.

Derek, Isaac and Boyd look at Marlo and Erica in surprised glances; and Derek smirks.

Alerting Marlo who was now standing beside the female beta; "Well, this one's for you" Derek says holding a headband with bolts throughout that go into the human skull.

Marlo immediately hisses just imagining the pain while Erica smirks in fear and Derek and the male betas look at her in amazement.

"The girls always get it the worst; oh my god" Marlo says in anger, "That's what we get for bleeding every month and having pains like being stabbed I guess" Erica says in reply.

Derek who is listening it to the girls conversation; "Which makes you stronger; less weak, woman give us babies and a role for this world" Derek says looking at Marlo when he says babies sadly.

The girls just nod and continue with what they're doing and getting ready for the full moon tonight.

Erica ends up spending most of the day with Marlo as she's quite nervous about the full moon tonight; she is aware that Stiles however has the birthday party of Lydia Martin's tonight so she doesn't have to worry much about him.

Little did she know about the crazy adventure that awaits her brother and his friends.

"Do you think tonight will be easy?" Erica asks the woman who's currently doing her nails and feet, "I think you'll beat this full moon's ass E, just let Derek help you as much as he can; and try and remember that having an anchor is best as well; I however am lucky, I don't have to worry about the full moon" Marlo shrugs continuing her nails.

Erica just laughs at the older woman in the room; "Did you want yours done?" Marlo asks gesturing to Erica's nails, "It'll probably be a waste of time Mar, later on my claws will come out and ruin them" Erica sighs.

Marlo smirks getting up from her couch seat and gets the set up she currently bought and showed the werewolf in her apartment, "Luckily for you E, I bought this the other day and let's test it out" Marlo says sitting down on the seat across from Erica.

Erica just smiles and holds out her hand for the older woman to do her nails; loving spending time with the vampire.

After Marlo finishes her first hand; Derek, Erica and even Boyd enter her apartment saying their hellos.

Derek just looks at Marlo who's gone straight back to doing the younger girls nails; he just laughs at her concentration face.

Marlo looks up at the alphas laugh fills the room she just smiles loving this side of Derek; the happy alpha werewolf and not the sour-wolf side.

Isaac and Boyd look at the two females in question on why Marlo's doing the girls nails if they're just going to be torn off after the transformation of tonight's full moon.

Derek knows by the look on his two male betas faces and says "Don't even ask boys; Marlo here bought some fancy nail equipment for her and Erica so she can do her nails", Isaac and Boyd just nod going into the kitchen following Derek now.

"There's cold water in the fridge boys; food as well" Marlo says not even looking at them still concentrating on the girls nails in front of her. "Awesome, thanks Marlo" Boyd says in a friendly tone.

Marlo smiles at them and just hums to herself while Erica watches her in amazement; seeing how quick her nails are coming along, "You're really coming tonight right?" Erica asks.

"Of course I am; I'll be upstairs the whole time just incase of any emergencies and Derek needs me" Marlo replies looking at the young female beta and then to the alpha who is talking to Isaac and Boyd while sipping his water.

As their day goes by quite quickly they're all getting ready for the full moon; as there is tears and frustration.

Nighttime shortly falls; Marlo meets Derek at the station and immediately goes upstairs after hearing the grunts from the betas in the train; not before she wishes Derek luck and kisses his cheek.

She goes upstairs looking for something to keep herself busy; she sees that Derek has topped off the fridge with bloodbags and wine; seeing as he knows how much she enjoys drinking on full moons.

She just smiles at the thought and grabs a bottle and glass; looking at the window seeing the moon starting to show its peak. "Here we go" she mumbles to herself.

Derek begins to tie the betas up; "What if we break free?" Boyd asks; "Then you'll do anything you can to get out of here; probably try to kill me; then kill each other and kill anything else with a heartbeat but if any of you try and kill Marlo; you won't see tomorrow if I'm still alive" Derek says to the betas who are looking at him in fear.

"I need you to hold her" Derek says to Isaac who is behind Erica; Isaac immediately wraps his arms under Erica's upper arms holding her in place "So how come she gets to wear the headband?" Isaac asks his alpha.

"Because she'll be able to withstand more pain than the two of you" Derek says and Erica chuckles softly; fear showing in her face; "I've got an extra one if you really want it" Derek says.

"Nah, I'll pass" Isaac says shaking his head. "You ready?" Derek asks the girl; "Yeah" Erica nods remembering Marlo's words about finding an anchor.

Derek puts the headband on her forehead and begins screwing it into her skull; having the girl screaming in agony and Isaac managing to hold her still.

Boyd who can't handle seeing his friend in pain looks away but stands where he was incase Derek needs any help.

Marlo can hear the screaming and hisses in pain as she can imagine the pain and feeling sorry for the teenager below; she made sure the steel door was locked before.

Protecting herself from them; mainly the betas; not the alpha; Derek moves onto Boyd next chaining him as he started to change and let our grunts before.

As the screaming, shrieks and growls are heard in the chain; he takes Isaac over and allows him to sit on the train seat and begins doing his chains; "How do you not feel this?" Isaac asks.

"I feel every second of it" Derek says; "Then, how do you control it?" Isaac asks holding in his own groans at Erica and Boyd are letting theirs out behind them.

"Find an anchor, something meaningful to you, bind yourself to it; keep the human side in control" Derek answers; "What is it for you?" Isaac asks.

"It was anger for a while but now it's the woman upstairs waiting for us; but it doesn't have to that for everybody" Derek admits.

"You mean Scott?" Isaac asks, "Yeah" Derek says looking at the boy.

Groans are still heard behind them before Derek finishes with Isaac's chains; "All right, that should do it" he says pulling on the chains; hearing a metal clang like metal has been broken.

Isaac and Derek look at each other before looking at Erica and Boyd behind them; growling with their golden beta eyes.

Derek now in full Alpha mode gets ready to fight his own betas who seem to be going absolutely insane, as Boyd begins kicking the chains hoping to be set free.

Erica shrieks as blood is seen from her teeth as she's transforming; Isaac's claws are now out and the pain is just beginning; "Scott, can you call me back? I'm probably gonna need some help" Derek says over the phone beginning to panic; however Marlo rushes downstairs.

"You need help; let me do it; I'll be fine" She says as Derek goes to reply there's a loud metallic clang from inside the train; "Lo, please go back upstairs; they're actually out of control" Derek says in a rushed tone.

Marlo however doesn't listen and follows after the male and the beta's alpha and hears a crash coming from behind them in the train; "Definitely gonna need some help" Derek says.

Marlo looks at him and nods; as Derek lets his claws come out; and Marlo has her fangs out ready to protect herself; luckily she's eaten and well hydrated so she's ready for this fight.

Both Derek and Marlo enter the train to see three fully transformed werewolves snarling and barking at them.

Derek goes to move forward only for Isaac to lash forward and try and bite him; he goes past Isaac as Marlo is dealing with him.

Pulling his head away from any part of her body he can bite and poison her; she hisses at the werewolf.

Isaac starts scratching her; Derek now fighting both Erica and Boyd yells out to Marlo, "Lo, go upstairs now!" He orders.

"I'm not leaving you alone to fight them, you'll die!" Marlo snarls back; not listening to the alpha; "Isaac!" Derek yells at the werewolf who just got free and jumped out of the window.

Boyd latches onto Derek and throws him onto the ground; trying to slash their alphas throat now.

Marlo throws Erica off Derek and begins fighting her; "Come on E! Fight this please" Marlo says to the werewolf who's lashing out at her; "I want to kill you!" Erica snarls out.

Marlo who has the upper hand throws the werewolf back again making sure she's watching behind her for Boyd and Derek; but also Isaac who she can't find anywhere.

"Come on, fight this E! fight!" Marlo yells out hoping the girl will find an anchor; Derek who is now slashed in cuts on his body is groaning on the floor.

Marlo throws Erica back again leaving the werewolf a little disoriented and unable to stand for a moment.

Marlo latches her small wrists onto the back of Boyd's shirt and throws him across to the other side of the train; Boyd just growls and snarls at the vampire.

Marlo who is in her full fighting mode now; she has one minor cut on her forehead from glass, she tackles Boyd again throwing him with her speed.

Erica now manages to get up and try to attack Derek and Marlo again however Marlo snatches her wrist tying her up again.

Derek who gets the upper cut on Boyd gets free; Boyd who runs off to exit the train; Derek runs off after him only to see Isaac pinning him against the seat.

Marlo gets a slash across her back and turns around in fury and knocks Erica out, "Ow; you bitch!" Marlo says holding her back seeing the blood drops.

Derek who is looking over at Isaac and Boyd receives a nod from the Lahey boy who is under control.

Marlo breaths out looking at Derek; "Listen to me next time!" Derek says to the vampire; "Worked out pretty well Der!" Marlo snapped. As Marlo puts the chains back on Erica and Boyd completely; she overhears Derek and Isaac's conversation.

"Think you'll be okay now, looks like you found an anchor" Derek says breathing out deeply; "My father" Isaac says looking forward with his hands up ready to be chained up again.

"Your father locked you in a freezer in the basement to punish you" Derek states not noticing Marlo left to go upstairs again; "He didn't use to" Isaac says with a small smile from the memories.

Derek looks at the teenage boy in pity and sorrowness, dropping the chains and walking outside of the train to take a breather.

Looking to his side and seeing Marlo upstairs dancing to some song he assures is her favourite and a bottle of red wine in the other.

He then looks to his other side and sees Lydia, looking at her in confusion; she blows wolfsbane into his face and looks up at where Marlo is smirking and walking upstairs for her as well; knocking on the steel door.

Marlo answers; "Lydia? What are you doing here?" She asks in question; Lydia just blows mistletoe into her face unlike Derek; mistletoe, werewolf venom and vervain only work on her but she doesn't want to kill Marlo.

She just needs her due to the connection she has with Derek; so she drags them both out of the building.

Derek still with blood on his shirt and Marlo knocked out beside him; still healthy and breathing.

As the night is going; Scott and Stiles can't manage to find Lydia not knowing she is currently dragging the vampire and alpha places for the plan.

Allison rushes off after a frantic call from her father and arriving at the hospital to find out her mother has died.

As the people at the hospital look in sorrow at the younger girl grieving her mother; asking what happened over and over again letting our heartbreaking cries and sobs.

Back at Lydia's birthday party even though without the birthday girl there it's still going off with a bang, everyone who had a sip of Lydia's punch is having some kind of hallucination or they're incredibly drunk and drugged from the stuff in the punch.

After a while of wondering what's going on both Stiles and Scott whisper something to someone until they hear someone yell out "I can't swim!" over and over again under eventually it's revealed to be Matt Daehler who's screaming.

Everyone watches the incident; as a certain someone; Jackson helps the boy out of the pool.

People let out gasps and whispers under their breathes watching the boy breathe deeply looking around at the crowd of people around the pool.

Jackson walks off after Matt mutters out to the crowd asking what they're looking at; beginning to leave he looks at Stiles and Scott with a dirty glare as sirens wail in the distance; someone yells out.

"Cops are here!" another voice yells at "Party's over!" "Run!" As the people from the party start running out of the party so they're not captured by the police.

Scott runs out the front past the cop cars to see a very pissed off Matt standing there drenched from head to toe in water looking straight at him.

Scott looks at him in confusion and then notices the kanima beside him standing in kind of protective stance; hissing and snarling; as the crowd run in different directions.

Matt and the kanima disappear leaving a concerned Scott behind.

At the Hale House; Derek comes too; he notices his being dragged and someone's beside him; slowly realising it's Marlo, "Lydia, Lydia, Lydia stop" Derek weakly says.

Lydia grabs his arm and puts it into the hole beside him; she looks over at Marlo and drags her over as well; letting her fall on top of Derek.

"You don't know what you're doing" Derek mumbles at as Marlo is on top of him passed out.

Lydia moves the mirror like options to use the moonlights shine—Marlo begins to softly groan coming too.

Derek looks over weakly; and feels his uncles claws begin to dig into his wrist.

Derek groans out loudly in pain now flashing his bright red alpha eyes; he then breathes out again after his eyes flash back to normal and the pain slowly easing.

He watches from beside him as a body is now emerging from the depths beneath him.

Derek who is now trying to move both himself and the knocked out woman on him aside out of the way so they're not injured; he huffs in fear seeing the body now bending up from the depths alive and quite well.

"I heard there was a party—don't worry, I invited myself" the body of Peter Hale smirks, "Don't hurt her please" Derek mumbles out worried about why Marlo was here in the first place.

"Oh don't worry about too much Derek—she's just here as a second choice; as she's always been" Peter mumbles knocking Derek out cold.
