Holiday Special!

**This does not go along with the current time line of the plot and is pretty much just a holiday oneshot -Enjoy~**

"A holiday party?" I questioned Izuku over the phone as I doodled on nearby paperwork, holding the phone with my shoulder. "It will be fun!" He said cheerfully.

I sighed, "I'm really not sure..." The thought of being around people I didn't know really didn't appeal to me.  After a few more moments of Izuku telling me about the plans he ended up sucking me in.

"Fine... I will come..." I sighed on defeat. "Great! Its on the 24th!" I could feel the green headed boy beaming at my compliance. "Alright, see you then." I smiled a little to myself and hung up the call before sighing.

Glancing at my calendar, I counted the days. 'Looks like I have 2...'
-
I looked at myself in the mirror, overthinking my outfit. 'Maybe this is too much...' I shifted a little, looking at the (F/c), oversized sweater that I tucked into the black pencil skirt that hit my mid thigh. The semi sheer black tights hugged my legs under in a futile attempt to brace the cold.

I shook my head checked my phone, 'I'm going to be late if I don't hurry...' I groaned a little internally from the indecisiveness and self doubt stabbing  at me. I quickly pull my hair up into a loose bun, with strands hanging out to frame my face.
-
I triple checked the text from Izuku he had sent confirming the time, even though I could hear the muffled standard Christmas songs through the door.

I pushed his front door open and walked in, looking around at all the semi familiar faces. Of course there were only a few that I knew personal, and not just from the media, like the Spiky blond tresses that belonged to the hot headed, child hood friend, Bakugou. Or most obviously the curly green hair that was weaving through the small crowd and right towards me. While there weren't that many people, it was overwhelming to be in the presence of so many pro heros especially when I was so a average.

"(F/n)! I'm glad you could make it!" He smiled brightly at me. I smiled back, his happiness was contagious. "Of course I came, how could I not."

We talked for a little bit as more people filtered in, he said his greetings and introduced me to the once I didn't know, so most people.
-
"Hey, everyone! Let's do some karaoke!" A bubble gum pink girl cheered out as she held up a microphone. "I don't have a karaoke machine..." Izuku mumbled out, slightly confused by the sudden appearance of it. "Momo made it." The pink girl smiled as she noticed Izuku's confusion.

Everyone seemed to agree and took turns flipping through the song books, trying to figure out an order to the madness that was about to proceed.

I noticed someone else hanging towards the back of the crowd. He was tall and handsome with two toned hair, his scarred face was extremely recognizable. Even though I had never talked to him before, spare a few words here and there at outings with Izuku, I knew exactly who he was. He pulled out his phone, seemingly checking the time. He looked like he was out of his element but also like he was meant to be there.

His heterochromatic gaze met mine and I felt my face heat up as I realized I had been staring. Surely he was used to it, but it was embarassing none the less. I quickly looked away to hide my embarasment.
-
"(F/n), how come you don't want to sing?" Kirishima questioned as he held the mic in his hand. I gave a little nervous laugh knowing I wasn't the most skilful in the singing department. "I don't really like singing... Especially in front of crowds..." I trailed off a bit, even though there only about 20 making up said crowd.

He just handed the mic to me. "Come on, Just one song. You can even do a duet if you want." He gave me a toothy grin to try and win me over on the idea. I'm assuming it's the same toothy grin that he gave to Bakugou to get him to do a duet with him. "I don't know..." The red head wasn't taking no for an answer and looked to Shouto, who was still standing in the same spot as earlier.

"Hey, Todoroki, how about you and (F/n) do a duet together?" Kirishima said as he threw his arm around my shoulder.

"No." He said flatly.
-

"So what song do you want to do?..." I asked, looking up at Shouto as we flipped through the songs. "It doesn't matter to me." He said. I'm not entirely sure what Kirishima said to him that mare him agree, but he definitely didn't look enthusiastic.

"Will you two hurry up." Bakugou complained and I panicked a bit. I picked the first song I knew on the page and typed in the track number.

I looked at Shouto as the music started, trying to fight back my nerves.

"I really can't stay~" I started off

"Baby it's cold outside" His voice was deep and enchanting as he sang. I swayed a bit as I did my parts, a soft smile rested on my as I tried to enjoy it a bit. "I've got to go away~"

"Baby it's cold outside." His voice was so smooth, it made my knees weak. I found myself not being able to look away from his beautiful gaze. "This evening has been~"

"Been hoping you'd drop in." His line cut mine off. "So very nice..." I put my hand on his chest and lightly push, turning my back to him.

"I'll hold your hands, there just like ice." He sang as he gently took my hand and twirled me around. I could feel my face heat up immediately.

"My mother will start to worry..." I fought back a stutter as I was twirled back into him, my hand pressing flatly against his chest.

"Beautiful, what's the hurry?" My heart was beating out of my chest as I could barely remember the lyrics as we continued on.
-
"...it's cold outside~" We both harmonized as the song came to an end. My breath came out in soft pants and my cheeks felt like they were on fire.

Everyone clapped and we both gave small bows before handing off the mics. I headed towards the kitchen for a drink the fight the dryness now taking over my throat, also because it was much less populated than the living room.

I smiled with a sigh as I took a tip of water, the coolness soothing my throat. "Excuse me." A deep voice startled me away from my thoughts. "Ah! Sorry, Todoroki-san..." I said as I moved to the side and he grabbed a cup.

A silence fell over us. "Sorry you ended up having to sing... I know you didn't really want to..." I apologized, not knowing what else to say to break the silence that has enveloped us. "It's fine, I really didn't mind it." He said truthfully. "You sounded really good." I complemented and looked at him. Before he could say anything else, Kirishima popped in.

"You two sure did put on a show." He had a toothy grin spread on his face. "I wasn't expecting Todoroki to go along with it." He laughed but Shouto just shrugged.

After another moment Krishimima looked back towards the doorway and then spoke back up. "Let me get a picture of you two." The red head said as he started to pull out his phone

"What? Why?" Confusion washed over me. "Izuku asked me to get pictures of everyone." I nodded, as that sounded like something Izuku would have asked for.

As I stood next to Shouto, Kirishima held up the camera. "Ah, wait. I think the lighting will be better under the door way." I saw Shouto give him a weird look before complying and moving to the door way of the kitchen. I followed and got back, ready for the picture.

"Perfect, the lighting is so much better there." He held up his phone one more time, but right before he clicked the picture, he stopped again. "Actually can you squeeze in a little bit closer?" I rolled my eyes. "Will you just take the pict-" I was cut off by Shouto grabbing my wrist and pulling me closer. His hand was around my wrist and his other was on my waist.

I was surprised and looked up at him. He moved his fingers and hooked them under my chin and tilted my head up a little more. "Looks like he got us under the mistletoe." He said, his voice was calm which matched his stoic face. Heat rose back to my cheeks as he pressed his lips to mine.

My eyes fluttered closed as I leaned into the warmth of his lips. My stomach felt like it was turning flips and electricity was rushing through my veins.

*Click*

"Perfect." Kirishima laughed as he clicked the picture. I pulled away and tried to catch my breath. My head was spinning and I didn't know what to think. My hand stayed on Shouto's chest and I tried to get my thought straight. I could feel the best of his heart, thumping away.

I looked back up at him and pressed my lips to his once again.

'Merry Christmas to me.'

------
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! Sorry this is actual fucking garbage lmao. It's a tad rushed because my friend knocked my phone from my locker and shattered it :'^) so I haven't been able to finish writing until today.
