Company

It was rainy, and cold outside. I stood looking out the window of my room, I sighed deeply. His words still imprinted on my head. "Let's just say I long for your company". What did he mean? I mean I knew, but I didn't understand. Why? I know plenty who are much more intelligent than I. I squinted my eyes as I saw a carriage coming in the distant of my driveway. "Who would dare drive in this weather?" I walked out of my room, and called Lotus. "We have unexpected visitors. Please go check to see whom it is." I requested as I watched her go down the stairs, and out of the manor.

Lotus returned, her hair slightly wet. Behind her stood Ciel, and Sebastian. "Lord Phantomhive, why are you here on such a horrible day?" I referred to the weather, as he looked up to me on the stairs. Sebastian began removing his hat, and coat. He then began making his way up the stairs, I stood back lightly. "I apologize for not sending a letter to tell you of my visit, but I thought it'd be better a surprise." He said with a smirk upon his lips. "Oh well, I certainly am surprised, and well unprepared." I replied to him, he suddenly stood before me. Looking slightly down upon me. "I'm honored, you're worried about my happiness here." "It is my job as a host to be prepared and respectful to my guest." I said to him quickly, looking past him. An awkward expression on my face.

"Lotus, would you bring us some tea." I asked politely to her, as she bowed. I hadn't noticed his butler, Sebastian was behind him. His expression was emotionless yet mischievous. Ciel stared at me, as I looked back at him. "Oh, My Lord. Uh please, follow me." I said quietly, as I lead him into my study. "So what brings you here to visit?" "I thought we got start our investigation earlier." His face in total serious, as he raised an eyebrow at me. "Another was murdered last night. It was a man, age 17. Although we have no exact trace on what kind of people, they're after. I have concluded that the killer is a woman." He stated. I nodded soaking in the information, and pulled out a pen, and paper. "If you wouldn't mind me asking, but can you label all the victims?" I questioned him.

I wrote down each name his butler read off a list as Ciel sat back. Lotus entered the room with tea, and served Ciel, and I. "Thank you." "Is this Grey sweet tea?" Ciel questioned Lotus. She nodded to him, with a respectful bow. Sebastian watched with an amused smirk. I set my tea cup down, looking at him. "We've been having these meetings quite often, My Lord." I said to him kindly. He stopped drinking his tea, his eyes gazed upon mine. He gave a sarcastic smile, and gave an unamused laugh. "Well, it is quite lovely." He replied, I sighed I deeply. I didn't say anything else, not wanting to upset him. I sat back into my chair, began deep in thought about this case. It was suspicious. Quite like the Jack the Ripper case, yet so different. What connects each murder? These thoughts raced my mind, when my name was suddenly called causing me to casually look ahead.

"I'm sorry to interrupt your daydream, Lady Amanda. But I'm afraid our work is much more important." Ciel said sternly. "Oh of course, My Lord." My cheeks reddened. "I apologize for being so impolite." I said quietly to him, fiddling with the pen in my hands to avoid eye contact. "Well I haven't connected on what specific thing, she is killing for. Unless it is simply for fun, or a game." I required, turning back into my business mode. Ciel nodded at me, and I smiled politely. "Lord Phantomhive, what other evidence have you-" "I really don't mean to interrupt, Young Master. I'm afraid we can't be here much longer." His butler Sebastian told him. Ciel looked up at him, giving a tiny nod. "Yes, Sebastian." Ciel answered in a bored tone. "I'm sorry, Lady Amanda but I must take my leave." He spoke annoyedly. "No, it's really fine. Have a safe trip." I replied to him, practically shooing him off. I let Lotus escort them out.

After they left the room, I felt my breath relax. "Seeing Ciel Phantomhive a lot is exhausting-" Her eyes widen as she saw Ciel enter the room, and he had a bored expression. "Well, I'm sorry if I'm to much." He smirked at me, closing the door. My face turned red, I put my head in my hands in embarrassment. "I can't believe I just humiliated myself Infront of the Earl like that." I huffed out. "Oh god." I felt, sweat drop down my face. "What am I to do?" I questioned myself. The door opened again, my eyes darted to the door quickly, afraid that it was Ciel again. Luckily, it was just Lotus. "They've left my Lady." "Okay, thank you. Lotus, I was curious. Why did Lord Phantomhive come back up?" "He said he had forgotten something." Lotus replied with an anxious expression, basically sweating. "Oh yeah, of course." I replied Cool.

I sat back down in the chair, and sat back. In thought, my eyes wondered to a piece of paper I had used for all the victims names. "Who would want to kill these people for no logical reason?" I paused as a smirk came upon my lips. "Someone who isn't sane of course." I called Lotus up. "Can you go prepare the carriage, I want to visit someone who is an expert on bodies."
